Clinton: Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir should be subject to accountability
International Tribunal issued an arrest warrant for Sudanese President

Washington - called on U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton,
on the impact of the issuance of the court order international arrest
warrant for President Omar al-Bashir, of what is said about the war
crimes and crimes against humanity in Darfur, to calm duplicate
America's commitment to peace and security in the largest countries of
the African continent.
Clinton told reporters on Wednesday, March 4 / March, that "governments
or individuals who commit atrocities of any kind, such as those we have
seen year after year in Sudan, or condone, it must be held
accountable." Clinton added, saying: "We hope that the government in Khartoum does not work on its part of the escalation of violence."
The International Court in The Hague has been addressed earlier in the
day Wednesday to al-Bashir charged with committing war crimes and five
counts of crimes against humanity, as a result of the alleged targeting
of government to civilians during the campaigns waged since 2003 and
until 2008 against rebel groups in the Darfur region of western Sudan.
The International Court issued a press statement saying that al-Bashir
"suspected of being responsible for the crime of deliberate attacks
against a large segment of the civilian population of Darfur in Sudan,
as well as murder, rape and torture of large numbers of civilians and
the displacement and looting their property."
The United Nations says at least 300,000 people have been killed in the
conflict, in addition to the displacement of 2.7 million others from
their homes.
U.S. officials brought their voices to the voices of many in the
international community to describe the work of al-Bashir as "genocide."
However, the judges of the International Tribunal did not add the
charge to the charges against al-Bashir, but stressed that the
indictment could be amended to include that charge based on the case,
which will present Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo.
It is known that the United States is the largest donor to Sudan.

humanitarian aid and development and peacekeeping and reconstruction.

the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

is a priority for the government (the U.S.)."
She said Secretary of State Clinton said the International Criminal
Court "issued a list of accusations based on the achievement of

(President Bashir) believes that the indictment is wrong, it is certain
that he could challenge it."
