[WATCH] COP KILLER FATALLY SHOOTS OFFICER DAYS AFTER BEING RELEASED ON PAROLE!
A New York man suspected in the fatal shooting of a police officer was recently released on parole.
On Wednesday night, Thomas Johnson III shot
and killed eight-year police veteran and father of two, Daryl Pierson.
His partner, Michael DiPaola was able to shoot and apprehend Johnson.
Johnson was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and underwent surgery. He is listed in guarded condition.
Officers reportedly carried Pierson to a car
“and got him to Rochester General,” Rochester Police Chief Michael
Ciminelli said. Doctors worked “with absolute fury” and “tried to pull
off a miracle which was not to be.”
“We plan and we train for it, but you can’t plan and train for something like this,” Ciminelli said.
“We’ve seen people all over this country get
upset when an officer kills an unarmed person,” City Councilman Adam
McFadden said. “We should be equally upset when a person kills an
officer that is trying to bring peace to our community.”
Johnson had
just been released from Wyoming Correctional Facility in August. He was
serving a year for violating his parole after he had severed three years
for robbing a 64-year-old man in 2010.
