REPORT: FBI investigated Harry Reid in 2008; Papers made public now secreted, sealed...
(Las Vegas Review-Journal) - The Review-Journal obtained copies of the documents from the federal
court’s electronic docket Tuesday morning, but later in the day, they
were removed after prosecutors objected. The defense motions were later
re-posted, without the government papers disclosing the 2008
investigation.
Late Tuesday, the prosecutors filed a motion seeking to seal the defense motions in their entirety, a move defense lawyers plan to oppose. Prosecutors contend the defense motions refer to “sensitive, nonpublic investigative information concerning a now-concluded matter.”
