HIGH ALERT: Possible ISIS Attack in North Carolina
The warning comes a day after airstrikes started on the Islamic state and other terrorists in Syria.
Local law enforcement officials are asking us all to be vigilant. They don’t know of a specific threat, but that could change at any moment.
Colonel Randy Powers of the Guilford County Sheriff’s office said he isn’t surprised about the alert that’s too sensitive to share with non-law enforcement.
“Just a reminder to keep our eyes and ears open and to keep the information flowing back and forth so that things can be checked out that might need to be checked out.” Powers said.
“It goes through and lists out stuff that they think they have seen or have been heard but most of it’s the stuff we’ve heard in the past.”
“Be a good witness, get us the information, but don’t try to get involved in it,” said High Point Police Captain Mike Kirk. What are your thoughts? Comment below?
