Allen West Calls on the US Military to Disobey Obama’s Illegal Order [WATCH]

Former Florida Rep. Allen West says that a recent order from President Barack Obama is unlawful, and military commanders would be “well within their rights” to refuse to follow it.
Last month, the president issued an executive order allowing some individuals in the country illegally to enlist in the United States armed forces.

Speaking with Fox News Channel’s Jeanine Pirro on “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” West agreed with Pirro’s citation of federal law that makes it a crime to arm an illegal immigrant, which Pirro said means that enlisting such immigrants in the military amounts to a felony.
“When has law ever meant anything to Barack Hussein Obama?” West said.
West added, however, that the larger issue is the fact that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, the Obama executive order under which the illegal immigrants are granted the right to stay and work in the United States and, under the new program, join the military, is itself unconstitutional.

“But the more important thing we have to come to understand is that if you go to the Constitution, to Article I, Section VIII, Clause number four, that says that only Congress has the ability to make rules or laws regarding naturalization; the president does not have that. So, when you go back and look at the executive order he did, calling it a DREAM Act, you look at this edict that he has sent down, it is an unlawful order.”
Because the order is unlawful, the retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel said, military servicemen and women would be “well within their rights” to disobey it.

The president either doesn’t know or doesn’t care what the Constitution says about the limitations of the authority of the president. If he doesn’t care, he should be removed from office, although that seems highly unlikely even after the 2014 midterm elections.
If he doesn’t know, it’s time that he learn. Military commanders refusing to obey this unlawful order would be an excellent way to teach him.
