Filing Lawsuit against Twitter Platform Operations - Any other mistreated developers welcome.
rgenkins from Platform Operatinos has permanently suspended my application.
He took it a step further too - I had several different Twitter apps. He permanently suspended ALL of them.
Not only that, he took it further. I am supposedly no longer permitted to ever use the Twitter API ever again.
And even further, any website that I own, even completely unrelated and not even Twitter apps, is permanently blocked from ever being shared on Twitter.
This has cost me tens of thousands of dollars thus far and I have sent every ticket, every e-mail, and every conversation I have had with Platform Operations to my attorney (who has a great track record if you're wondering). After reviewing everything and reviewing Twitter's rules and API guidelines, he believes I have a good case for a lawsuit. @rgenkins is going way beyond what he can and should be doing for a developer having one minor infraction of the rules and he knows it. At this point all I am asking for is to have my app reinstated with the assumption that I will no longer break the rules (which is obviously acceptable to me). But, since Platform Operations will not agree, I had no choice but to see what an attorney had to say about it.
He recommended I make an effort to find other developers who have been mistreated to add to the case. So, feel free to contact me if you fit the bill.
Thanks!
I, like many 3rd party Twitter developers, have been grossly
mistreated by Platform Operations. I had a very successful application
suspended for breaking a rule that I misunderstood because the rules
were vague in that area. As a result, even though I fixed the issue
immediately, @He took it a step further too - I had several different Twitter apps. He permanently suspended ALL of them.
