Root: Obama wants your guns
My father was a blue-collar butcher who taught me to watch what a
man does, not what he says. My father died in 1992, but he must have
been looking into a crystal ball.
Obama is the poster boy for saying one thing – and then doing exactly
the opposite. It all sounds so good, until you realize he lies…
about everything.
He promised to cut the deficit in half, instead he increased it
dramatically. He promised to cut health insurance premiums by $2,500 per
family, instead they increased by over $3,000 per family.
He claimed to be a friend of oil drilling yet only days after the
election he banned oil drilling on over one million prime acres in the
American West. He called Bush reckless for increasing the debt by $4
trillion in eight years, then increased it by $6 trillion in only four
years.
He claimed Obamacare would reduce the national debt, yet studies
using government accounting prove it will increase the debt by as much
as $17 trillion. Obama’s nose should look like Pinocchio.
But, this should come as no surprise. Obama’s hero was Saul Alinsky
who counseled his Marxist followers that “the ends justify the means.”
In other words lying to advance the cause of communism, equality and
social justice is justified. Alinsky is the author who dedicated
Obama’s favorite book “Rules for Radicals” to Lucifer (the devil).
Unfortunately, trusting Obama is like making a deal with the devil.
Obama says he “supports the Second Amendment and doesn’t want to take
our guns away.” He only wants to protect “the children.” What a guy! He
wants to protect your children with “Gun Free Zones” while his children
attend an exclusive private school protected by the Secret Service. He
wants your place of business to be disarmed, while he’s protected by
armed agents.
He wants to ban assault rifles, while Homeland Security stocks up on assault rifles, armored vehicles, and 1.6
billion rounds of hollow point bullets- the kind that explode in your body upon impact. That’s enough for a 20-year war.

The question is-
with whom?
Is Obama perhaps worried that the inevitable economic collapse
produced by his radical spending and debt policies will result in
unrest, anarchy and revolution in the streets? Are these 1.6 billion
bullets aimed squarely at American citizens?
Obama says he’s being “reasonable” and “moderate,” only looking to
stop mentally ill people from getting guns. Think about that. We know
that Obama says one thing and does another (just as my father warned),
so what is his real goal?
Obama is smart and devious. He knows banning guns is a losing
argument in America. So he claims to support guns, while plotting to
take our guns away. How? First, by appointing justices to the Supreme
Court who are dedicated to overturning the Second Amendment. He’s done
that with Justices Sotomayor and Kagan. He’ll soon have the opportunity
to appoint one or two more. Then, our gun rights are gone.
But he has more devious plans straight from the Alinsky communist
playbook. You don’t need to ban guns to disarm the citizens, just tax
the bullets to the point they’re unaffordable. Or order Homeland
Security to buy so many billions of rounds that drastic shortages are
created.
Voila- No bullets for the citizens’ guns.
I’ve saved the best for last. “Mental illness” is the issue Obama
will use to disarm American citizens. New York is leading the way.
Citizens in New York who have been prescribed anti-depressants are now
having their guns confiscated. Think about that. We are not talking
about people who have criminal records, or who have been committed. Yet
their guns are being confiscated. And here’s another question: how do
the police know you’ve been prescribed these drugs? Aren’t our rights to
privacy being violated?
With Obama and his socialist Nanny State collective there is always a
secret clause or technicality buried inside 1000 or 2000 pages, written
in “lawyer-ease.” Inside the federal HIPAA policy (Privacy Rule) is a
clause, “provide and promote high quality health care to protect the
public’s health and well being.” Obama and his cronies apparently
believe they can use that clause “to protect the public’s well being” to
require notification of prescriptions for anti-depressants and then
order immediate confiscation of their guns.
Then there’s the military. Many vets coming home from Iraq and
Afghanistan have suffered some level of stress, fear, depression and
PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress syndrome). Aren’t they encouraged by their
superiors to report their problems and seek help? Now it’s being used
against them.
I’ve been contacted by the mother of a soldier who saw his best
friend’s legs blown off. He suffered a brain injury himself in that same
IED explosion. He took meds for a year while recovering from his brain
trauma.
Now, healed, healthy, and ready to re-enter civilian life with a job
offer as an armed bodyguard, the army has informed him he is banned from
ever owning a gun because of his PTSD.
Is this Obama’s new scam? Obama and his team of gun grabbers have
figured out a way to legally disarm the bravest group of gun owners in
the country- returning veterans. These people are the most trained and
most likely to own guns. Yet, if they are treated for PTSD, Obama is
stripping them of their Second Amendment rights. Nice way to treat our
heroes.
Obama and his socialist cabal cannot be trusted. Watch what he does,
not what he says. Don’t agree? Perhaps you should check with Austin,
Texas Democratic City Councilman Mike Martinez who stated
matter-of-factly during a speech last week that the Obama long-term
agenda is a total firearms ban. Or the Democratic gun control bill just
proposed in the California State Senate that allows government
confiscation of guns and demands a special permit for anyone to buy
ammunition.
