Until the ground invasion, Israel and Hamas were in a holding pattern. Hamas would not accept a ceasefire deal because Egypt’s offers provided the Iranian sponsored, Muslim Brotherhood terror army with no discernible achievements. And absent such achievements, Hamas prefers to keep fighting. Israel for its part is unwilling to make any concessions to Hamas in exchange for its cessation of its criminal terror war that targets innocent civilians in Israel as a matter of course. As Hamas sees things, it has three ways of winning.
First, if Israel had agreed to ceasefire terms that left Hamas better off than it was when it started its newest round of indiscriminate missile attacks against Israeli civilian targets, then it could have declared victory.
Hamas’s terms for a ceasefire included, among other things, an open border with Egypt, egress to the sea, open access to the border zone with Israel, an airport, a sea port, and the release of terrorists from Israeli prisons. Obviously, if Israel agreed to even a few of these terms, its agreement would have constituted a strategic victory for Hamas.
The second way for Hamas to win is if it able to accuse Israel of killing a large number of Palestinians at one time In that case, Hamas can expect for the US to join with the EU and the UN in forcing Israel to accept ceasefire terms that require it to make significant concessions to the Palestinians in Gaza as well as in Judea and Samaria.
This is what happened in Hezbollah’s war with Israel in 2006. During the fighting, Hezbollah alleged that Israel killed a great number of Lebanese civilians in Kfar Kana. Those allegations caused then US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice to effectively end US support for Israel’s war effort. Rice quickly coerced Israel into accepting ceasefire terms that paved the way for Hezbollah’s takeover of the Lebanese government.
If Hamas is able to create a similar situation in Gaza, it will likely achieve the same sort of strategic victory over Israel.
Finally, if Hamas is able to produce a picture of victory that can burnish its reputation as the leader of the jihad against the Jews throughout the Islamic world, then it will be able to declare victory. Operations such as Hamas’s repeated attempts to launch mass casualty attacks in Israeli communities along the border with Gaza by infiltrating Israeli territory through its underground tunnel networks, have been geared towards achieving such an end.
Since Hamas initiated the current round of warfare against Israel, Israelis have been split in their assessments of how best to win the war. Still now, with ground forces deployed in Gaza, the dispute over the proper goal of the operation remains significant.
Although everyone supports the troops, politicians on the Left, led, most openly by Labor party leader Isaac Herzog say that Israel should limit its goals to the maximum extent and seek a ceasefire because “there is no military solution” to the conflict with Hamas.
Israel’s best bet, they say, is to do everything it can to end the Hamas missile strikes as quickly as possible through negotiations. At the same time, Herzog argues, since there is only a diplomatic solution to the Palestinian conflict with Israel, Israel needs to send negotiators to Ramallah to beg Palestinian Authority President and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas to sign a peace deal with the Jewish state.
There are several basic problems with the Left’s position.
First, Hamas and its partners in Gaza from Islamic Jihad, al Qaeda affiliated jihadist militia and Fatah have no interest whatsoever in peaceful coexistence with Israel. They exist to fight Israel. This means that the only way that Israel can get them to stop fighting is by using its military force to convince them that it is not in their interest to continue shooting.
In other words, the only “solution” to Hamas’s aggression is a military solution.
Then there is the bizarre notion that a deal with Fatah is somehow the silver bullet that will end the military threat to Israel from Hamas-controlled Gaza.
A deal between Israel and Fatah in Judea and Samaria would have no effect whatsoever on the situation on the ground in Gaza. Given Hamas’s absolute rejection of peace with Israel, and widespread support for Israel’s destruction throughout Palestinian society, a peace deal between Israel and Fatah in Judea and Samaria would in all likelihood increase Hamas’s prestige among Palestinians and throughout the Muslim world. In other words a peace deal with Fatah would enhance Hamas’s prestige and power and ultimately bring about an expansion of its military capabilities.
Beyond that, Abbas has ruled the PA for the past decade. Throughout this period, he consistently demonstrated through deed and word that he will never, ever sign a peace treaty with Israel. Abbas has twice rejected offers of peace and statehood from Israel. Just three months ago he rejected another offer from US President Barack Obama. During the same period, he has signed three peace deals with Hamas. The most recent one is now in force, on the ground.
Since Hamas initiated its newest round of criminal projectile assaults on Israel, Abbas has acted as a full partner in the war. He has represented Hamas internationally. He has negotiated on its behalf – and continues to do so in Cairo.
Abbas has slandered Israel in the most obscene terms. His Fatah group has actively participated in the missile offensive, on the ground in Gaza. It has also proclaimed its absolute unity of purpose with Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the war against Israel in daily official pronouncements.
Given all of this, the notion that Israel can pin a diplomatic strategy for ending Hamas’s war against it on Fatah is not merely ridiculous. It is inexcusably irresponsible for would-be national leaders to maintain faith with it. The only purpose such behavior serves is to reinforce the Americans and Europeans in their delusional faith that the chimerical two-state solution is a recipe for utopian peace rather than war, bloodshed and radicalization.
On the other hand, the Right, led most outspokenly by Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman insists that the role of IDF ground forces in Gaza should be to reconquer the area with the aim of destroying Hamas’s capacity to continue shooting rockets and missiles. Only such a ground-based operation, they claim will eliminate the threat of Hamas’s projectiles.
There are several problems with this position.
First, it makes assumptions about Hamas that are not necessarily correct.
It is far from clear that the only way to destroy Hamas and end its capacity to harm Israel is to reconquer Gaza.
The main reason that Hamas began the current war is because the terror group is in distress.
The Egyptians have cut off the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood’s financial and military supply lines through the Sinai. Hamas of the summer of 2014 is not Hezbollah from the summer of 2006. Hezbollah had open supply lines from Iran through Syria and Turkey. Hamas is locked in between Israel and Egypt.
Moreover, Hamas is challenged on the ground in Gaza by the same jihadist groups that now fight with it against Israel. If Hamas cannot produce a victory in this round of fighting then its friends from al Qaeda affiliates and from Islamic Jihad will renew their challenge to its authority. Add to the mix the response of a public angry at Hamas for forcing it to serve as human shields for missiles and terror masters who were unable to bring home the bacon so to speak by fighting, and there is a reasonable chance that Hamas will face a full-blown insurrection once a ceasefire with Israel goes into effect.
The only way for Hamas to avert this fate is by being able to point to significant gains from the fighting that will neutralize at least some of its opponents and rivals.
In other words, Israel doesn’t have to reconquer Gaza to destroy Hamas. We just have to humiliate Hamas and knock out capabilities like the tunnel networks that immediately threaten us. And then let the Gazans fight it out.
Finally, a full-scale ground invasion is a risky proposition. There is no assurance of success. Israel deployed ground forces in south Lebanon in 2006. But due to incompetent national and military leadership, the forces achieved little from a strategic perspective while absorbing painful losses.
Israel faces an acute operational challenge in Gaza. The nine year absence of IDF forces and Israeli civilians on the ground has wrecked Israel’s intelligence gathering capabilities and so limited the IDF’s operational effectiveness. If in 2004 Israel was able to defeat Hamas through targeted killing of its commanders, repeating that success today without good human intelligence assets on the ground is a much more difficult prospect.
This is why we are already beginning to see diminishing results from the air campaign. Without human assets on the ground, the IDF either cannot locate or cannot get to the remaining high value targets.
Unless Israel is able to change this situation fairly rapidly, it will not be able to sufficiently diminish Hamas’s capabilities to convince Hamas’s leadership that they are better off ending the current fight without achieving anything significant than maintaining it until they do.
This is why the government was finally compelled to order the ground campaign.
Ground forces are required to develop the information Israel needs to kill a large enough number of Hamas leaders and destroy the tunnel complexes and a large enough quantity of missiles and launchers to convince Hamas’s terror masters to cry, “Uncle.”
While the ground operations continue, Israeli negotiators should be avidly agreeing to every ceasefire offer that denies Hamas any achievements. The IDF must continue to exercise an abundance of caution to prevent Hamas from luring our forces into a situation where we will be accused of massacring Palestinians.
None of this is easy or simple. No result is guaranteed. But in fighting Hamas today, Israel finds itself in a better position than it has faced in past fights with Hamas. For the first time, we face an enemy with a limited shelf life. Without supply lines from Egypt, Hamas cannot fight forever. Its allies at the UN can feed its forces and protect Hamas from an insurrection from a starving population. But the UN cannot rearm Hamas. It cannot reopen the smuggling tunnels from Egypt to enable materiel, money and trainers to enter Gaza.
Hamas is desperate for anything it can call a victory. By denying it one on the one hand, while taking action to force its leaders to prefer organizational humiliation to personal destruction on the other, Israel can win a decisive victory.

Muslims Force The Last Living Christian In Mosul To Leave, ENDING 2000 YEARS OF CHRISTIANITY IN THE AREA
Muslims Force The Last Living Christian In Mosul To Leave, ENDING 2000 YEARS OF CHRISTIANITY IN THE AREA
Muslims, all members of ISIS, forced the last living Christian in Mosul to leave, ending 2000 years of Christianity in the city. It was St. Peter who gives us the oldest reference to the church in Iraq, when he wrote:
The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son. (1 Peter 5:13)A very good report on this gives us a good amount of detail on this story:
The last Christian reportedly left Iraq’s second largest city of Mosul at 12:00pm on Saturday, ending over 6,000 years of Assyrian history in the city. Assyrians have lived in Mosul for over 6,000 years, converting to Christianity over 2,000 years ago. This all came to an end on Saturday, when the last Assyrian Christian left the city. On Thursday, July 17th, the Islamic State (IS)– formerly the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS)– released a statement demanding the Christians in Mosul either to convert to Islam, paying the jizya (tax on non-Muslims), leave the city, or be killed. The threat was to be implemented on Saturday. It is being reported locally that by noon yesterday, every Christian had chosen to leave.PLEASE CLICK HERE TO MAKE A DONATION THAT WILL SAVE CHRISTIAN LIVES
Here in Erbil, about an hour an half away from Mosul by car, I have spoken with families who were forced to flee. They describe how ISIS invaded their homes, taking whatever they wanted, and threatening to kill them. The estimates are that over 500,000 refugees have fled Mosul after Islamists took control on June 10th, and the few remaining Christians left yesterday.
One group of Christians I spoke with said that when ISIS first invaded Iraq, they portrayed themselves as armed humanitarians but then they quickly undercut that message by implementing strict Sharia law, such as making women wear the full burqa and banning all western clothing. Those Muslims who stayed behind are being forced to comply with the new puritanical laws and now they, too, are trying to leave the city.
One resident of Mosul I spoke with said, “It is like the Taliban in Afghanistan before the U.S. invasion.” There, Al Qaeda created the safe-haven from which they launched the 2001 attacks of 9/11 against the United States.
Some Iraqi Christians had called on the international community to help create a protected zone in Ninevah Province so as to provide protection for all minorities around the city of Mosul and to provide protection from future attacks by IS. While the proposal for a new Ninevah Province has been submitted to the Iraqi Parliament, it was not finalized. Because of the inaction both inside Iraq and the failure of the international community to heed the threats against Christians, the majority of the refugees who have just fled Mosul remain in danger of being attacked once more by IS as it continues its jihadi blitzkrieg across Iraq and Syria.
Several people I have spoken to in Iraq reported that members of IS speak foreign languages and are not from Iraq only. One person said an IS member was speaking an Afghan language and wearing Afghani clothing. Another person said they heard dialects from Pakistan, Libya, and even English.
Everyone I have spoken with has expressed their frustration with the international community’s lack of response to the crisis facing the people of Iraq. They blamed the United States for creating the current situation and for leaving the country so quickly and so creating the vacuum for IS to exploit. Many also think that it was a serious mistake for the U.S. to “give Iraq to Iran,” allowing Tehran to have a major influence in the Iraqi Parliament.
Another local told me he thought it was strange and nonsensical that the U.S. and European countries were opposed to IS in Iraq, but supporting IS groups in Syria and other violent groups against local governments. They warned of the danger such groups pose to the West. “These jihadists will eventually go home to their countries, to Canada, England and the U.S.” said one.
Another group of Christians commented on how bad it would be for Iraq if the country split up or were divided. They warned that if Iraq splits into several smaller countries, it will create a domino effect in the whole Middle East, affecting Lebanon, Syrian, Jordan, Turkey, Israel, and Egypt, creating a wave of civil wars. “We fear the U.S. is not supporting the unity of Iraq,” I was told, “But we want to see our country remain as one nation of diverse people, as it has been in history.”
Since the U.S. invasion in 2003, over 1 million Christians have been exiled from Iraq, leaving only around 300,000 left in the country.

Jordan Oddly Unenthusiastic About Hosting Obama’s Terrorist Training Camps
Jordan Oddly Unenthusiastic About Hosting Obama’s Terrorist Training Camps

New York writer focusing on radical Islam. He is completing a book on
the international challenges America faces in the 21st century.
I don’t know what’s wrong. Maybe it’s the fact that Jordan’s king is
barely clinging to power. It might be the threats from ISIS to overrun
Jordan and kill the king. But King Hussein (the other one) seems
unenthusiastic about King Hussein’s plan to train terrorists in his country.
Jordan, where the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency has been covertly training Syrian rebels for more than a year, is reluctant to host an expanded rebel instruction program, U.S. officials said.So currently the only ones enthusiastic about the plan are Obama and the terrorists. And the moderate terrorists could take it or leave it.
Jordan’s reticence, confirmed by four U.S. officials, is a potentially serious setback for President Barack Obama’s proposed $500 million initiative, announced in June, to train and arm moderate rebels fighting the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and al Qaeda-linked groups.
It could signal a larger challenge in finding suitable nations willing to host the U.S.-led training at a time of heightened tensions across much of the Middle East.Obama could try training them in Israel. I’m sure that would work out well. Or Iraq. Or Iran. Liberals keep talking about how we need to ally with Iran.
While U.S. officials have not made a formal request to the Jordanian government, the country was widely considered a top choice to host the training due its close security relationship with Washington, proximity to neighboring Syria and pool of more than 600,000 Syrian refugees.Whom the Jordanians would like to get rid of, not arm with heavy weapons.
“Jordan told the U.S., ‘No boots on the ground’,” said one of the officials, who all requested anonymity because they were discussing sensitive U.S. military arrangements. That’s okay. The terrorists will just wear sneakers. That’s how Obama did it in Libya and it worked out fine.
Has Obama Sold Out “His” People?
Has Obama Sold Out “His” People?
That should cover most of the idiots.
But you probably won’t forward it…afraid of
being called a racist and all. But we need to ask ourselves a very
poignant question. The answer will make a lot of things easier to
discern.
Who does OBAMA consider “his” people?
I wrote about this a few years ago. Let me take a moment and refresh your memory of some of the facts.
Barack Obama is not “African” American…at
least not racially. His skin may be dark, but there are many people
around the world who have dark skin and are not Africans. Although his
lineage is murky at best and many question the “official” story
regarding his organic origination, let’s give him the benefit of the
doubt and believe the nativity story that we’ve been given.
Barack Obama Sr., his alleged father, was
born in Kenya. He was of Arab descent…not African. To call him “African”
is nothing more than associating all black faces with the continent of
Africa. Hussein is an Arab name…not African. Barack Hussein Obama Sr.
was Arab, not African. His son could rightly be called the first
Arab-American President. But that wouldn’t fit the script. Black
Americans would not relate to an Arab-American.
Here is a list of Arab-Americans. Do you consider Kasey Kasem and Paul Anka to be Africans? How about Paula Abdul or Doug Flutie? Their lineage is the same as Barack Obama Sr.
So…Barack Hussein Obama Sr’s son is 50%
white, 43% Arab, and 7% black. He is certainly not an African-American.
They sold him to America as African-America which further shows how
deceptive trusting in skin color can be.
Do you suppose Revs Al and Jesse knew he was
Arab? Are they so stupid they don’t know the difference between an Arab
and an African? I wonder if they know the difference between a Muslim
and a Christian. It looks like skin color is a poor determinant of what
someone is…or believes.
So, Obama is a fake-African just like he is a
fake-Christian. Funny, isn’t it? Blacks can’t tell the difference
between an Arab and an African, and Christians can’t tell the difference
between a follower of Jesus and a follower of Satan. That’s the bottom
line. You can’t be and Arab and an African and you can’t be a follower
of Jesus and the Devil. Skin color is not a good indicator.
So now the “African” Americans are starting
to catch on that their “brother” by-skin-color-only is selling them out.
Check out this brief 2-minute video.
He may have the same skin color but he is not one of them. Arab-American Obama is not their African “brother.”
How has he been able to pull off such a scam?
Why won’t the media tell the truth? Why won’t our elected officials
tell the truth? Why won’t the “civil rights” leaders tell the truth? Why
won’t our “Christian” leaders tell us the truth?
Well here are a few that will. Pastor James David Manning of Atlah World Ministries in Harlem, writer and truth-teller Mychal Massie of The Daily Rant, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson of B.O.N.D and
many others I could suggest. Why won’t Faux News give them a platform?
Why do they constantly feed us the liberal views of weenie Juan
Williams? They decide…you report what they decided.
Perhaps those in power understand what the
little people don’t; Obama is one of THEM. He is an elitist…part of the
ruling class…the government class. He hasn’t sold out “his” people
because “his” people aren’t who we thought they were. HE knows who “his” people are and he is serving them quite well.
Both political parties want to keep us
divided. Democrats want to keep blacks on their plantation while
Republicans are afraid to speak the truth. Why do both parties feed us
Jesse Jackson as the spokesman for black Americans? Listen to Mychal Massie in this rant. Why isn’t he a regular on Fox?
Here is the truth; Democrats want poor people
dependent on government. They trap young black-skinned children in
rotten government schools because they do not want to throw the
teachers’ unions out of the bed they share.
They trap inner-city residents into bondage to food-stamps and government handouts as they claim to care. Cliven Bundy was right; they have traded one form of slavery for another.
Look at the evidence. Blacks used to live as families. Today,
government dependency has caused them to trade the father, as the family
head, for the prison of government provision.
So, all of the great hopes that black America
had for the first “African” President have come to a crashing halt.
They are slow to admit the truth. Obama couldn’t care less about the
plight of “his” people because they aren’t “his” people. “His” people
are rich limousine liberals who profit from keeping blacks on the
plantation. Neither Obama nor his children have spent one second in
black inner-city schools. They are children of privilege and
beneficiaries of white guilt.
Obama can blame the Republicans all he wants.
He can fan the flames of racism and division in attempt to keep us
divided. He can make promise after lying promise with no plans to
deliver. Ultimately, here is a simple question for my black friends and
white friends who believe skin color is more important than the content
of one’s character.
Why has he done so little to help “his” people? Could it be we don’t realize who he considers “his” people?
He is not one of them. He is Arab, not
African. He grew up in a white environment not in the inner city. For 25
years he was a member of a hate America church, not a Christian church.
He went to a private Muslim school, not a private Christian school. He
never spent the first day in a “black” environment. Everything about him
is a fraud.
So now you are surprised when he turns his
heart to the Hispanics? Remove our borders, remove our language and we
have lost our culture. Obama was never one of us. Why should we be
surprised? “His” people want to destroy America.
Diversity can be deadly. Flooding the borders with disease-carrying refugees is
the best way to serve “his” people. Diluting the culture will weaken
America. A nation without a common language, border, or culture, is no
country at all.
Obama knows who “his” people are. How come we don’t?

Report: Hamas Offers 10 Year Truce with 10 Demands
Report: Hamas Offers 10 Year Truce with 10 Demands
Hamas Refuses Cease-fire Proposal
The
Islamic militant group Hamas formally closes the door on the Egyptian
proposal for a cease-fire aimed at ending the conflict with Israel.
Israel is now intensifying air strikes at the Gaza territory. (July 16)
Tel Aviv, Israel-- Early Wednesday, Palestinian media said a high ranking unnamed Hamas official revealed that the jihadi group has released a list of ten demands upon Israel in exchange for a proposed ten year truce with the Jewish state.
The terms reportedly proposed by the Hamas terror group are as follows:1. Return of IDF tank positions so that farmers can work their lands
2. Freeing of all prisoners arrested since June 23 (when 3 Israeli teens were killed by Hamas operatives), and improving the conditions of those currently in prison.
3. Lifting of Israel’s naval blockade around Gaza along with the complete opening of the land border crossings.
4. Establishment of an international airport and seaport in Gaza.
5. Expansion of Gaza fishing zone by six miles.
6. Open the Israel-Gaza Rafah border crossing permanently under UN supervision, instead of under Israel’s watch.
7. 10 year truce with Israel along with the deployment of an international observer force on the border.
8. Israel must never enter Gaza under any circumstances and protect Palestinian Muslim worshippers at Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
9. Israel must refrain from interfering with the newly created unity Palestinian government between Fatah and Hamas.
10. Rehabilitation of Gaza Industrial Zones and allowance for Gaza to create a border protection force.
