Will Pope Francis I be given “an Official Seat” in the “Upper Room” located over the Tomb of King David?

With the recent election of the new Pope, Pope Francis I will now sit on the throne of the Vatican in Rome. This new “Jesuit Saint” whose ministry to the poor and the downtrodden in Argentina, has been carefully scripted into his future image is now being transmitted around the world as the new personification of the Roman Catholic “Jesus Christ” who will bring “Peace” to the Middle East.
Looking through the telescope of history, it is thereby important for descendants of the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel” to bear in mind that it was this same Orthodox Jewish rabbi who spoke to his disciples concerning the “last days” but gave with this prophecy a warning:

Matthew 24:4 – “Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you! For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the new of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such this must happen, but the end is yet to come.

For people will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; all this is but the beginning of the ‘birth pain.’ At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all peoples will hate you because of me.

At that time many will be trapped into betraying and hating each other, many false prophets will appear and fool many people; and many people’s love will grow cold because of increased distance from the Torah.”

With these words in mind, recently the outgoing Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon left his official post in the Israeli government and when he did, it was revealed that he has left a stain of deception which screamed out in the recent headlines in the Jerusalem Post that announced:

Jerusalem Post – “Jerusalem is on verge of signing agreement to formalize diplomatic relations with the Holy See.”

Why would the State of Israel be signing diplomatic relations with the Vatican?  The international news has been quiet for almost eight years on any diplomatic moves by the Vatican with the State of Israel.  With this announcement there came the report of “conflicting and disturbing reports” concerning the status of the “Upper Room” (Cenacle Shrine of the Coenaculum) where it is believed that the Jewish rabbi, Yahshua HaNotzri (Jesus the Nazarene) once hosted with his disciples the “Last Supper” that occurred on Wednesday evening according to the Passover traditions of the Essenes.

What is most interesting is that this Prince of David was actually presiding over a “Passover” season meal with his disciples in a place that the Nazarene history called the “House with the Upper Room.”  What was even more amazing was that this “Upper Room” was located physically in the midst of the Essene Quarters of southwestern section of the ancient walled city of Jerusalem.  Not only that, this Prince of King David, known as Rabbi Yahshua was sitting right over the traditional Tomb of King David; a powerful political statement.   
Today, this same site is now the central campus of the Diaspora Yeshiva on the hill called Mount Zion.  Back in October, 2005, BibleSearchers Reflections quoting Israel National News stated this report:

Israel National News – “An official Vatican newspaper has reported that during his upcoming visit to the Vatican, President Moshe Katsav will sign an agreement giving parts of David’s Tomb over to papal control. If such an agreement is signed, it will put an end to drawn out negotiations that began in 1998. Israeli and Vatican representatives began discussing issues of jurisdiction over certain sites around seven years ago. These sites include various buildings and parcels of land that the Catholic Church claims it used to control.

The church is now seeking to reclaim its ownership of these sites. Among the places under debate is an area that the church refers to as the site of the “last supper,” which is situated at the burial site of Kings David, Solomon, Rechavam (Rehoboam), Assa (Asa), Chezekiyahu (Hezekiah) and Amatzia (Amaziah). The Vatican newspaper, El Messagero, reports that President Katsav is expected to sign an agreement during his visit that will give the church control over the upper part of David’s Tomb. The church has already shown Israel a trial agreement, according to which the Vatican will receive.”

The news after that time went underground. Now eight years later it is resurfacing again. This time it was not open to the media or to the Jewish people but in the back offices of the Foreign Ministry department. In 2005, there was an uproar that was led in part by the indomitable Jewish Israeli reporter Barry Chamish, that uncloaked the underhanded diplomatic agreements that were about to be signed by the Israeli President Moshe Katsav. This included also the threat, later to Israeli President Olmert of creating a “Jewish Holocaust in Rome” if the State of Israel did not accept the Vatican sovereignty to the site of the “House with the Upper Room”, and did not accept the “Spanish Initiative” to remove Israeli soldiers in Gaza and replace them with soldiers from Vatican Europe.  
It was Richard Owen in Rome in “The Times on Line” who continued to document this historic move by the Vatican on October 13, 2005, in an article titled, “Vatican offers swap deal to regain site of Last Supper.” 

The Times on Line – “Vatican is hoping to regain control of the Room of the Last Supper in Jerusalem, one of the most sacred sites in Christianity. It will, in exchange, hand over to the Jewish community the historic synagogue at Toledo in Spain, at present a Catholic church. The proposals, contained in a draft agreement between the Israeli Government and the Vatican, come on the eve of a state visit to the Vatican next month by President Katsav. Final details on a long-delayed accord on the status of Roman Catholic properties in the Holy Land are expected to be agreed during the visit, marking a new era of reconciliation between Christians and Jews after centuries of hostility.”

The current site of the “Church with the Upper Room” was rebuilt by the Roman Christian Crusaders in the 13^th century upon the earlier foundations of the original Jewish Hebrew Nazarene Synagogue that was spared by the Roman general Titus in the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE.  Today, it is also believed that three walls of this current structure still exist from its earliest Jewish roots built by the guardians of King David’s Tomb.
The Holy Zion Octagonal Church was later built by Theodosius I about 382 CE, and later enlarged by Bishop John II into a rectangular basilica with five naves alongside and outside the original and ancient foundations of the historic Synagogue of the Nazarene’s Apostles. This latter building was razed by the Persian in 614 CE, and partially rebuilt by the Patriarch Modestus.
It is stated that the entire structure was razed to the ground by the Muslim caliph, Al-Hakim in the 7^th century CE, and afterwards was replaced by the current structure built by the Roman Christian Crusaders in the 12^th century as a five aisled basilica in what is called today the Dormition Abbey named after the Jewish Princess of David whom the Roman Christian Church recognizes as Mary, the mother of Jesus.
The strangest fact is that this same site was once located within the walled compound of the ancient Essene Quarters that was located at the southwestern corner of the Walled Old City of David.  These secretive people, the Essenes, who were probably disciples of the famed Torah giant and Nasi of the Great Sanhedrin, Hillel the Great and his Vice-President, Menahem the Essene where they were stationed both in Damascus, where their disciples fled in 20 BCE, in the Essene Quarter of Jerusalem and at Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
In ancient times, there were four religious parties in the 1^st century Temple of Herod era culture in Jerusalem. These were the Sadducees that included the aristocratic families of the high priests of Jerusalem, the Pharisees Beit Shammai, the competing yeshiva (Jewish seminary) to Beit Hillel, the party of the Scribes and the Lawyers (Mechoqeck), and what was known as the 4^th Philosophy or the 4^th Party of Judaism; the Essenes and the Hassidim. BibleSearchers Reflections – “The tradition of the Essenes goes back to about 150 BC when the Chasidim, rebelled and split off from the Jewish hierarchy in protest to their secular accommodation with Persian and Roman authorities.  They were the most mysterious of all the sects in Judea.  Outside of Josephus and Philo, the early Jewish and Christian scholars had very little documentation until the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered in the Qumran site near the Dead Sea about this mysterious sect.

 The most prominent thesis accepted today is that Qumran was a library and manuscript production site, and possibly the major headquarters of the Essenes in Judea.  Hundreds of documents, scrolls and fragments have been discovered and catalogued on every book of the Old Testament except the Book of Esther. Also included were scores of books and commentaries outside the Old Testament Canon.  

What was even more revealing were the words and their meaning of their literature such as, ‘the poor’, ‘the meek’, the ‘four thousand’, the ‘five thousand’, the ‘elect’, which were used in the teachings and ministry of the Nazarene.  They were a prophetic group with a defined apocalyptic mission.  They felt they were to wait the soon coming messiah and to protect him when he arrived.

 The Essenes, about one hundred fifty years before Yahshua HaNotzri’s (Jesus the Nazarene’s) birth, split as part of the Chasidim separatists, over the Sadducee party who were working as ‘accomplices’ with the Romans to rule and for the security of Judea.  To them, the Sadducees were usurpers of the role of the temple priests.  Later the High Priest from the descendants of the Levitical priestly line of Zadok, the appointed High Priest of King David, but they too, were collaborators with Herod the Great, who brought them over from the Jewish temple in Leontopolis in Egypt.”

Understandable, during this era, Imperial Rome was trying to take control of Judea using Herod the Great as their ally and accomplice.  In the year of 37 BCE, Herod the Great sent a courier to Alexandria, Egypt and to the Jewish temple at Leontopolis.  The noted priest by the name of Boethus was requested to return to the land of Israel and assume the control of the office of the high priest in the Temple in Jerusalem that Herod the Great was now expanding to become the largest and most opulent temple in the world. 
The Zadokians, according to some experts had set up a separate Temple service outside of Jerusalem, at Khirbet Mird, a Hasmonean Palace, which they claimed was ministered by the pure line of Zadok temple priests. Yet, it was in year of 6 CE that the high priests now ruling as the official high priests of the House of Zadok became corrupted when the famed high priestly dynasty of Ananus (Ananias) the Great took control of the office of high priest by out bidding “bribing” the Procurator of Rome sent to rule the Roman province of Judea and whose dynastic family virtually controlled the office of the high priest until the temple was destroyed in 70 CE.
 To the Essenes, Herod the Great was the personification of evil.  The princes of the House of David and Solomon by this time were being followed by the masses of Jewish peasants, who rose in revolt against Rome, and became known as the Zealots of Judea.  What is known is that one of their prime duties was to become the guardians of every Prince of David; each of whose life was watched and protected by the Secret Guardians of the Essenes.
The Cenacle was later destroyed again in 1219, yet was again spared and rebuilt in 1340 CE, when the Franciscan Order of Friars took custody and possession of this site. This possession by the Roman Catholic Church lasted only 200 years when in 1552, the Ottoman Turks took possession and transformed this building into an Islamic Mosque.  
The truth of this fact is that within the Cenacle is a semicircular niche called a mihrab that indicated to the Muslim worshippers the qibla, or the direction where the Kaaba in Mecca was located. This was important to know by every Muslim worshipper for they were to pray towards that direction; not towards the Temple Mount and the sight of Solomon’s Temple but towards Mecca.  This again suggests the disregard that the Arabs who lived during the Middle Ages had towards the Temple Mount. Even then the Arabs did not place any sanctity to this place but only further to the East in Mecca.
It was in 1967, when the State of Israel won the 6-day war against her Muslim neighbors who once again sought to annihilate the Jewish people in Israel. Amazingly, it was seven hundred years earlier that a famous 12^th century Jewish rabbinic sage, Rabbi Judah ben Samuel predicted, in that in the year of 1967 the Jewish people would once again take possession of all Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.
He proclaimed that they, the Jewish people, would hold possession of this site for one Jubilee (fifty years) before the Messiah son of David would begin his messianic reign in Jerusalem in the year of 2017.  Nowhere in any biblical or Jewish prophecy does it suggest that the Jews with the State of Israel will relinquish sovereignty of the Temple Mount. The Nazarene Judaism prophetic testimony stated that there would be “Two Witnesses” who would protect Jerusalem and the Holy Land for 1260 days (3½ years) up until about 18 hours before the revealing of the Messiah, when they would be executed as the Islamic hordes dance over their bodies. That said, there are numerous hints that a Jewish temple or a Temple for all religions (Masonic Temple) would be built upon the Temple Mount in an ecumenical bid to “Peace, with Great Security” for the whole earth. 
Since 1967, the Jewish government in Jerusalem has faithfully guarded and allowed peoples from all religions to worship in every holy site in the State of Israel. This is a historical fact to the credit of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.  It contrasts, non-the-less, against the Arab guardians of the Temple Mount called the Islamic Waqf, who have desecrated every bit of Jewish evidence upon the Temple Mount even though the State of Israel still maintains sovereign control and that they have been given only semi-autonomous rule over the Temple Mount. 
When we look at the history of the Roman Christian Church, we also see an even more predator like role, of possession for the sake of power, greed and control. This gave rise to the Roman Catholic Inquisition in the 13^th century and its role of destroying all forms of free speech and the right to the free expression of worship.
What is the historical truth today?  Of all peoples that come to worship in the Holy Land of Israel, as former Labor MK Daniel ben Simon shockingly observed, only the Jewish people are discriminated from worshipping upon the Temple Mount in Jerusalem; the holiest sacred place in Judaism today. Another historical truth, the Cenacle where the disciples of the Jewish rabbi called Jesus the Nazarene participated in a sacred ritual called the “Last Supper” that was akin to the Wednesday evening Passover rituals as celebrated by the ancient Essenes in Judea.  
As a matter of symbolism, it was a statement of authority when Yahshua, the Prince of David sat in his reclining couch as was the custom in that age. Why? He was sitting directly over the Tomb of David. The fact that it was protected and guarded by the Essenes in its original site in the 1^st century city of Jerusalem and that it was the Essenes who were the guardians of all Princes of David, suggest, that layers of hidden truth still remains as to the identity of this mysterious rabbi who claimed that his only mission was that he was “sent by his Father, to find the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24)
When all the apparent and literal knowledge we know of this “One Man” who has made the most profound impact upon human history, whether it be in its most simple understanding (peshat) or in his most hidden and mysterious meanings (sod) and understandings, the most profound implication is that the Roman Christian “Jesus Christ” and the Jewish Orthodox Nazarene “Jesus the Nazarene” are about the same historical man, but the Roman Christian Jesus of corruption of the Prince of David Yahshua.
There is overwhelming evidence that the Jewish messiah of the Nazarenes was lifted out of the philosophic and religious domain of historical Judaism in the 1^st century Temple of Herod era and corrupted and replaced with the philosophical and religious understanding of the Greco-Roman Hellenistic world at that time.
The archetypical and historical reality is that when the Jewish (yehudi) neshama soul was placed in time and space in Judea and Galilee as an observant Jew, a prince of David, and a Jewish Pharisee who evoked the halakhic understanding of Torah after the Yeshiva (school) of Hillel the Great, his imprint upon the majority of the peasantry class of Jews was profound in its impact. Yet this understanding was three centuries later carefully remolded and amalgamation with the surrounding pagan ideas of Mithraism and the Roman gods of the Greco-Roman world.
It was the First Church of Rome that destroyed the documentation and original historical archives of this Jewish prince of David and messiah and replaced its authentic Jewish history with a power structure that rose up in history as the Roman Catholic (world-wide) Church who sought to smother all of his authentic Jewish roots.
The facts still exist that the pathway of halakhic Torah truth as espoused by 1^st century Judaism was permitted by the G-d of Israel to become the pathway of restoration eventually for the Lost Ten Tribes of the House of Israel.  It was they who completely lost their identity, their way, and their G-d. Even so, the G-d of Israel promised them that He would restore them also to their chosen destiny as Klal Yisrael (All Israel).
Since the day of the liberation of Eastern Jerusalem from the Occupiers of the State of Jordan in 1967, this site, the “Upper Room” sitting directly over the Tomb of King David has also been for almost one Jubilee the site of Jewish religious schools called yeshivas. Today they are teaching the new generations of observant Jews how to live and keep the commands of the Torah.

Yet, like the Temple Mount, who also the State of Israel claims sovereignty rights over its possession, did give control of the Temple Mount to the Islamic Waqf, only to have the Waqf begin a process of systematically destroying all the evidence of its Jewish heritage and replace it with Islamic mosques forbidden by Jews and Christians alike from entering. So today, the sites of these Jewish seminaries (yeshivas) are now being threatened to be turned over to the control of the apostate Christianity called the Roman Catholic Church.

Yet, Jews have already walked that walk before, when in 1967, they turned over the managing control of the Temple Mount to the Islamic Waqf of Jerusalem. What did they receive in return; riots, Jewish people arrested, rocks thrown down from the Temple Mount to the praying worshippers below and more recently throwing “fire bombs” as Israeli police protecting the Temple Mount that turned one policeman into a fireball? All of these things are committed by the Islamic occupiers while the Jews have to observe that the sanctity of the site where once stood the two sacred temples of Judaism; Solomon’s Temple and King Herod’s Temple while they also observe children playing games, adults loitering with abandonment, and no real care given to the real sanctity of this site to the G-d of Israel.

The control of the Cenacle officially had been sought by the Roman Christian Church every since the days of Oslo Peace Accord in the early 1990s when in that agreement, the Temple Mount was to have been given possession to the Roman Catholic Church.  It was in the year of 2005 that this fact was made official, when this same dispute once again flared up and again the G-d of Israel put His divine finger down and halted this hegemony of sovereign power sought by the Roman Catholic Church. Yet, it was done in the strangest of ways.
At that time, the official negotiator of the “Upper Room” was the President of Israel, President Moshe Katsav. Yet this same Israeli president later received his reward by the Divine when on December 3, 2011, President Moshe Katsav began serving a seven year sentence in the Israeli Maasiyahu Prison in Ramla for two counts of rape, obstruction of Justice plus other charges in a landmark decision that was upheld by the Israeli Supreme Court. Will this same scenario also be repeated today? Or will the City of Jerusalem truly have to descend once again to the 49^th level of Tuma (Degradation) as it did in the 40 years between 30 CE and 70 CE when the entire city of David and Herod’s Temple were destroyed in a fiery inferno. As BibleSearchers Reflections wrote in 2005 in the article titled: “The Vatican seeks to reclaim it own; “The Vatican wants Jerusalem”:

BibleSearchers Reflections – “Within all the conflicts of the Middle East, the first implication is what Jesuit Father Francesco Rossi de Gasperis of the Pontifical Biblical Institute of Jerusalem called a “theological negation of the people of Israel, a kind of cultural and spiritual Shoah, not dissimilar to what was seen in the churches of Europe during the age of ‘Christendom’.” 

By creating a Catholic Church within Israel and “for Israel” comes from its deep seated denial for even the very existence of the state of Israel. Over the course of Christian history, the original “Church” was actually a Hebrew community composed of Jews that were faithful to the Torah, believers in the Jewish rabbi, Yahshua haMaschiah (Jesus the Messiah).  Is the guiding hand of the G-d of Israel even calling the core of the Catholic faithful back to a “historical turning point,” nominating a Catholic bishop ´ad Judaeos´?  Is the soul of the Catholics also at stake in that the overarching bid to gain control over the holy sites of Jerusalem will in turn radically change the nature of Christian Catholicism today?

 While this shift may isolate the Jewish secular Zionists, it also isolates a Latin patriarchate that is intentionally of an “overwhelming Palestinian character.” This political and religious battle for the hearts of souls of both the Arabs and the Jews, the Vatican is playing very carefully. It is a battle that does have its costs.

Over the years the Latin patriarchate has overtly declared its diminishing interest in any dialogue with the Jewish people.  In the city of Jerusalem, there is no Catholic library at all. In 2001, the Pontifical Institute “Ratisbonne” in Jerusalem was shut down and placed for sale.  The contenders to buy were the Opus Dei (of Dan Brown’s “De Vinci Code” fame), the Salesians and the Neocatechumenal Way.  Abbot Gourion came under the wrath of the patriarchate for receiving an honorary award in one of the halls of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament while the Melkite pastor of Nazareth, Émile Shoufani, who though an Arab is not anti-Semitic nor anti-Israeli when he was attacked mercilessly for taking an ecumenical pilgrimage of Jews and Palestinians together to Auschwitz.

While the prophetic vision of bringing all men to Jerusalem as the “house of the Lord of hosts” is seriously considered in the revival of Hebrew Christianity, the Jewish rabbinate see a threat to the survival of Judaism with the rise of Jewish believers who believe in Jesus as the Jewish and Christian messiah.  The pathway to the expectations of the coming of the coming messiah may bring some unexpected surprises to both Christians and Jews. 

This rift or fissure in the Catholic community is serious and thought provoking especially within the orthodox circles of the Roman Church.  The Christian Church is already fractured by many different denominations.  Now within the Catholic community the dialogue centers around whether the Hebrew-speaking Catholic ecclesiastical church should remain separate or in close affiliation with the Arab Latin patriarchate.  Though the Jewish Catholic members number about 250 members, it is a vibrant community with its leader, French Benedictine abbot, Fr. Jean-Baptiste Gourion of the Monastery of the Resurrection in Abu Ghosh.  What is fascinating is that in Israel, two of the three main Catholic representatives in Israel are of Jewish descent.  This tension between the Jewish and the Arab interests keeps the Roman Catholic Church embroiled in the broader issues between the Israeli-Palestinian and the Jewish-Christian.”

With the inauguration of the new Pope Francis I, as the visible supreme head of the Roman Catholic Church, we may be in for a big surprise if the Prophecy of St. Malachi comes to its final prophetic fulfillment.
Today, the outgoing Deputy Foreign Minister, Daniel Ayalon, who has retired and Israel’s Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, who has recently taken a leave of absence awaiting trial for charges of fraud and breach of truth are about to face off in court over charges that include money laundering and bribery.  Both of these “servants of the State of Israel” officially represented the State of Israel with the Vatican in Rome’s legal dispute for sovereignty rights to multiple sites in Judea and Samaria.
According to the LA Times, outgoing Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon will now become an instrumental witness against his former boss and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s senior ally with Lukud-Beitinu Party, Avigdor Lieberman. It was this controversial Israeli foreign minister who was indicted in December, 2012 on charges of fraud and breach of trust that included prior charges of money-laundering and bribery.
Yet, Danny Ayalon also has shadows of corruption hovering over him. Over the years he has been implicated in cozy relations now not only as the chief negotiator with the Vatican in Rome but with numerous Christian Evangelical Organization who also continually seek possession to claim and possess the sacred land in the Land of Israel, but also the political rights, to “missionize” and proselytized Jews into becoming “apostate Christians.” According to JewishIsrael:

JewishIsrael – “JewishIsrael has repeatedly expressed concern over any negotiations which would compromise Mount Zion. We have been especially concerned over Daniel Ayalon's position as chief negotiator on Vatican issues, since he is a maverick when it comes to ventures to grant Christians special status in Israel.

Both Daniel Ayalon and his wife, Anne, are intimately involved with the Evangelical and Catholic communities and have comfortably appeared on missionary television . Anne has significant business and real estate dealings with the Christian community and was listed as a "Talking Head" for the Pope's Visit on Christian-Israeli Relations” in a pamphlet put out by The Israel Project (T.I.P.) at the time of Pope Benedict XVI’s visit in May 2009

In November 2005, this writer reacted to reports of an apparent swap deal between Israel and the Vatican which would grant the Vatican control of the Upper Room. I was in correspondence with David Chappell, then deputy managing editor of the Times of London, who confirmed my concerns of a draft agreement. At the time, a number of activists formed the Committee to Save Mt. Zion and effective pressure was exerted on the Israeli government to abandon the plans to relinquish control of the Upper Room.”

It is important to look at the context of the above international diplomatic push for the Roman Catholic Church to take possession of one of Israel’s most important landmarks, the tomb of King David. It is also important to see these present international Vatican thrusts to not only grab Mount Zion that not only includes the ancient site of the “Church with the Upper Room” and sits literally over the “Tomb of King David”.

So we ask, will we soon see Pope Francis I, who is being reincarnated as the new Francis of Assisi in the Roman Catholic Church, now carry forth the mantle of the Franciscan Order of Friars  who have over the centuries sought complete control and rights to the Land of Israel?
Will this current pope, representing the Roman Catholic “Saint” Francis of Assisi, one of the most venerated religious figures in religious history also carry the mantle of the transformed human life by giving up wealth and fortune and become one of the iconic poor where wealth is evil and poor is righteous except for global possession, when “The Church” has every spiritual right to become the temporal and spiritual ruler over the entire world?
Though Barry Chamish and Benjamin Fulford do not walk in the corridors of international power that seek Power, Greed, and Control over the entire world, they both, being Jewish, do appear to pose the microscope of international investigation with the same premise, the global powers that have controlled the world of the past, are still active and well today. As Benjamin Fulford recently posted his perspective on the New Pope, the New Israeli government and their relationships as the One World Order is created to rule during the “Last Days”, as we read the hints of this fact in the following:

Pope Francis has already made it clear the soon to be reformed Vatican bank will now be spending its money helping the poorest and weakest people on the planet. Haruhiko Kuroda, the new BOJ governor, also supports plans to use Japan’s overseas assets, the world’s largest, to finance a major campaign to end poverty and stop environmental destruction. The new Israeli government is bankrupt and cannot finance anything but perhaps they are about to become serious about peace for the first time since that troubled country came into being.

There are also many reports of bad guys dropping off the radar screen recently.

In Japan, for example, the Zionist slave and war-mongering right-wing crypto-North Korean pseudo-nationalist politician Shintaro Ishihara has gone into hiding, according to Japanese military intelligence. As far as Queen Elizabeth, (who like the Pope supports a big push to end poverty), is concerned, this is what an MI5 source had to say:

However, the biggest change in the past week has been at the Vatican. Pope Francis, the first Jesuit to become Pope, chose March 19th to formally take the job because it is the Feast day of St. Joseph, the guardian of Jesus.

The name Francis was chosen for a series of reasons, according to a P2 freemason source. First of all, St. Francis of Assisi, among other things, introduced the concept of caring for nature to Catholicism. Another namesake, Francis Xavier, was the top Jesuit for Japan and India. Finally, the third head of the Jesuits, Francis Borgia (from the aristocratic Italian family) challenged corrupt popes.
The Jesuits are also featured as prominent fighters against Satan, notably in the movie the Exorcist, which was supposedly based on a true story.
However, there is also a spooky side to the name because the Pope’s family comes from Rome and one of his birth names was Peter. For believers in the prophecies of St. Malachi, it means he is Peter the Roman, the last pope. The prophecy of Malachi, according to Wikipedia, ends thus:

“Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”

If Pope Francis is serious about reforming the Vatican bank, he will confront the Satanic cabal that has illegally commandeered the Western financial system. The last time somebody tried to do that, the (Rothschild) cabal staged the 911 terror attacks to preserve their financial control. It is thus extremely urgent to make sure the cabalists are prevented from any attempt to destroy Rome and its priceless cultural and social heritage.”
As we see with the “Signs of the Times” swirling around us, it suggests that there is truly more undercurrents flowing in the vast prophetic river than we can imagine. It appears that all the mini-streams of prophetic history are now merging into the final raging vortex of the “time of the end”. The important thing to remember, the G-d of Israel is the sovereign G-d of the Universe. His power and control is universal and in the end, the rule of our planetary system will be by the Maschiah ben David, who will rule with the “Rod in his mouth” as evil people and as evil systems will be destroyed. Only then will the Era of Messianic Torah Enlightenment begin in Israel.

Pope Benedict XVI resigns on the verge of one the greatest covenants ever to be initiated - The Covenant that the Vatican and Israel have been working on since 1993 when then Prime Minister Shemon Peres and Pope John Paul II laid the ground work. This historical covenant  is now interring the final stages and it is no surprise to see President Barack Obama flying to Israel just before Passover to help reignite this historic agreement between the two nations.  Bill Clinton was hoping to be the president that would officiate the great so called “Peace Deal” of the Millennium but instead the timing wasn’t right; Yasser Arafat was unwilling to allow a Third Temple to be built on the Temple Mount along side the Dome Of The Rock. Neither was either Popes Benedict XVI or John Paul II  the right man. God has been setting the stage for this great showdown and now all the right characters are falling into position.
It’s no wonder Rome was in control of Jerusalem when Jesus walked the earth and once again she is getting control of Israel at the second advent of the Messiah. At the Beginning of February the Pope was given an official seat at the last supper in Jerusalem right at King David’s Tomb, so I guess the prince that is to come really is a Roman, and of course he claims to sit in Peter seat, so how fitting for Saint Malachi’s  to see him as “Peter the Roman.” Pope Francis though has come in very subtly with his new name hidden in secrecy; Pope Francis after the patron Saint Francis of Asis. But why should we be surprised the Jesuit order is shrouded in secrecy. Oddly enough though Francis of Assisi was actually called Peter and the new Pop’s parents are both Italian born, so regardless how one sees it he is still Peter the Roman.
 I find it rather fascinating all the decoys to take attention off the Vatican, in fact the peace process with the Palestinians for a “Palestinian state” is just a smoke screen.
President Barack Obama has already demanded that Israel go back to pre-1967 borders stripping Jerusalem from their hands. Oh the Vatican’s new Pope Francis will step up as a great savior mysteriously the Temple Treasures will appear after 2000 years and he will help broker a peace deal that will give Israel their long desired Temple in exchange Jerusalem will come under united Nations control as a Universal religious city, Oh my gosh sounds like the Millennium almost! But Satan will get his desire for three and half years he will sit in the Temple of God and be worshiped as if he were the Almighty!
 Anyone with eyes to see should know we are on the verge of John’s prophecy in Revelation chapter 11 fulfilling. In part this is what John writes:  …But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Revelation 11:2 The Gentiles tread the Holy city under foot for Three and half years. I use to think it was speaking of the Palestinians getting their state, and they will but the Gentiles refers to the Vatican taking control of the old City. Rome once again in control at the advent of Messiah’s return!

The Vatican just struck a Deal for the Hall of the Last Supper
and the Pinnacle on the Temple Mount.
The hall of the Last Supper also called the Upper Room is located in a building on Mount Zion outside the Zion Gate in the walls of the Old City Jerusalem and close to the Dormition Abbey. Traditionally this site is where Jesus ate the Last Supper (Mark 15:15) with his apostles and is the room featured in Da Vinci’s famous fresco. The Biblical event is thought to have been the Passover meal on the night Jesus was arrested, tried and convicted. It is thought that this might also have been the site where the Holy Ghost appeared and the apostle Peter delivered the sermon “And when the day of Pentecost…”

The institution of “The Vatican” is not understood by Israelis and Jews. The
conventional wisdom you get from the spokespersons in Israeli government
ministries and the conventional Israeli media is “both sides have great
intentions to do good” and that’s about it. When it comes to Israel’s
bi-lateral affairs, nothing much gets investigated by the Israeli media.
Thus a secret deal could be done between the Vatican and the State of Israel
and nobody in Israel would ever find out about it.
In fact, that is exactly what happened.
This essay will provide the background to that deal, as well as what the
Vatican’s intentions are regarding Israel and The Old City Of Jerusalem. It
will reveal which Israeli politicians made certain commitments to The
Vatican regarding the issue of sovereignty in the Old City of Jerusalem.
These negotiations and meetings were all carried out in secret. During this
time period, 1992-l995, the Oslo Accords was what got all the public’s
attention. Oslo was like “throwing sand in the eyes” of the public. The
Vatican is where the real action was happening. Oslo seemed to be just the
cover story. A “red herring”, if you will.
It can’t be that the Vatican is only interested in “access to their Holy
Sites” in Jerusalem. They already have that as well as legal jurisdiction
under Israeli law for their institutions and assets in Jerusalem. Also, when
these “Holy Sites” were under the jurisdiction of the Jordanians from
l948-l967, no Pope demanded the “internationalization of Jerusalem”.
It is something else, which the Vatican wants. The Roman Catholic Church,
need to have certain versions of events be played out for them to stand in
front of mankind and proclaim: our Messiah has returned.” Of course, to the
Jews, this Messiah will be as false as the first one was supposed to be.
Don’t matter. This is the goal of the Vatican and this is what all Israelis
need to worry about.
The Vatican/Roman Catholic’s version of events is this:
They know this isn’t the end of the story that the Jewish G-d had in mind,
but that doesn’t mean they won’t try and engineer their own ending to the
story. So what if it is fraudulent. Doesn’t matter, that is their game plan
and that is what matters and that is what Israeli Jews need to be better
informed about. It is important for everyone to know what The Vatican have
up its sleeve because it directly relates to our existence and our future
destiny as an independent nation. This a very powerful force this is
scheming to get control of the Old City of Jerusalem so you better know why
and how the Vatican intends to do this. Once you have all the facts and the
chronological record you will be better informed deal with this issue and of
foreign control over Israel’s political existence and destiny.

The writer, an Italian journalist with Il Foglio, writes a twice-weekly column for Arutz Sheva. He is the author of the book “A New Shoah”, that researched the personal stories of Israel’s terror victims, published by Encounter. His writing has appeared in publications, such as the Wall Street Journal, Frontpage and Commentary. He is at work on a book about the Vatican and Israel.
An historic agreement has been drafted between Israel and the Vatican. The Israeli authorities have granted the Pope an official seat in the room where the Last Supper is believed to have taken place, on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, and where David and Solomon, Jewish kings of Judea, are considered by some researchers, to also be buried.
It is the culmination of a long campaign by the Catholic Church to regain religious stewardship over the place where Jesus is supposed to have broken bread and drunk wine with his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion.
This is an enormous issue pushed through without any public debate.
According to our sources, the agreement, which is expected to be ratified next June, gives the Pope a “special authority” over the second floor of the building, so that Christian pilgrims will be able to celebrate religious functions like Pope John Paul did in 2000.
The agreement constitutes Israel’s capitulation to the Vatican’s efforts to “Christianize” the holy site, like when a Catholic convent was built in Auschwitz.
The Catholic Church has long wanted control over part of the area on Mt. Zion so as to turn it into an international religious center for Catholics. The blueprint of the agreement reads as follows: “The Vatican hands over this use of the Cenacle to the Custody of the Holy Land which will keep the Cenacle open from 6 AM to 8 AM for the celebration of the Holy Mass”.
In the long term, the gesture will increase tensions between Jews and the large assets of the Vatican. The Church has long been working to reduce Jewish rights in Jerusalem and in the Old City. Now, after the Muslim Waqf authority expelled the Christians from the Temple Mount and turned it into a mosque, it’s the turn of the Vatican to lay its hands on the Jewish Jerusalem.
The Custody of the Holy Land, the Franciscan order who, with Vatican approval, is in charge of the holy sites, campaigns with the Arabs against Israel.
As far back as May 2000, Yasser Arafat met Islamic and Christian clergymen at the presidential offices in Ramallah to back Palestinian Arab sovereignty over Jerusalem. Among the clergymen who attended the meeting, Diodoros I, patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, Torkom II, patriarch of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Catholic Patriarch Michel Sabbah and officials from the Custody of the Holy Land.
“An official meeting took place in Ramallah, Palestine, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine”. This is the official note of the Vatican press office about the meeting between the Catholic officials and the PLO representatives which took place this week.
The Vatican is also asking that Israel hand over to the Vatican’s control dozens of sites, 19 in Judea and Samaria and 28 in Jerusalem. The Catholic Church want to discuss some properties on Mount of Olives, Har Hazeitim, which is the very history of the Jewish people. If you want to keep Jerusalem united, you have to keep Har Hazeitim. The Vatican knows that.
In 1989 charges were made by the Catholic authorities that Israel desecrated the Cenacle on Mount Zion. The charges, which appeared in the Italian bishops’ newspaper Avvenire, said that the Israelis put a memorial plaque on the roof of the Cenacle. The plaque was put in place after the 1948 War of Independence in memory of soldiers who fell in the Old City and whose burial place was unknown. Every year, the bereaved families cleaned the plaque.
Why did the Catholic authorities complain? Last year a similar charge was made from the Catholic authorities that Israel wants to “Judaize” Mount Zion.
Should the Vatican gain sovereignty over Mount of Zion, millions of Christian pilgrims will flock to the site, and this will threaten the Israeli presence in the Old City’s Jewish Quarter and Jewish access to the Western Wall.
The Vatican wants the Jews out of the Old City and apparently Israel’s government is agreeing with them. Turning the Cenacle into an active church is also a way of desecrating the holiness of the site known as the Tomb of David.
The Vatican and the Palestinian Liberation Organisation expressed a common position in the Basic Agreement of 15 February 2000, intended to support the recognition of a special statute for the City of Jerusalem. In the memorandum, signed by Vatican officials and the PLO, an organization dedicated to the mass deportation of Israel’s Jews, the Catholic Church wants Israel relinquishing sovereignty at the Western Wall and the Temple Mount. The Vatican-PLO agreement’s preamble on Jerusalem shows that the Vatican’s attitude on Israel’s capital is still stuck in the unforgivable anti-Semitic rhetoric of the 1940s.
Until 1948, Christian access to the Cenacle was severely limited, because it was used as a mosque. Since then, the State of Israel is committed to protecting the holy places of all religions, and guaranteeing the right of worship for all faiths.
But no Israeli government must tolerate any policy of division, “shared control” or “internationalization” that opens the door to a return to the Arab apartheid of Jordanian occupation between 1948 and 1967.
Jerusalem is not for sale. For thousands of years, the Cenacle area was almost always totally closed off to Jews.
Sovereignty over Mount Zion is politics, not only religion. The day after the Pope celebrated a mass on Mt. Zion in 2000, he went to Yasser Arafat headquarter to support the Palestinians’ right to return.
A few months later, the Oslo war began. And Jews were sacrified again on the altar of “peace”. It was their last supper.
This week, the Vatican in its official documents began referring to the “State of Palestine”.

What’s up with PM Netanyahu and the Temple Mount?

Something odd, and even distrubing, seems to be going on up at the Temple Mount.

First, we were informed of a new agreement between the PA and Jordan awarding King Abdullah II a special custodianship for the Temple Mount (based on something from 1924).

In the past, in 2009, we had this:-

    The Jordanian government on Sunday summoned Israel’s envoy to Amman for rebuke over the recent tensions at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  Ambassador Jacob Rosen was called in to Jordan’s Foreign Ministry…the second time in a week that Jordan has called in an Israeli diplomat regarding the Temple Mount tensions. In its rebuke, Jordan called Israeli activities in East Jerusalem “illegal and illegitimate,” adding that it represented a violation of Israel’s commitments to peace. 

 Then, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally intervened to assure MK Moshe Feiglin cannot ascend to the Temple Mount.
In the meantime, Israel has no official comment on that agreement.  Odd, since it seems to contradict the 1994 Peace Treaty.

 Furthermore, Israel agrees to UNESCO interference in Jerusalem:

     Israel has agreed to allow a mission from UNESCO to visit the Old City of Jerusalem next month…Israel announced Tuesday that it also has agreed to take part in a meeting in Paris of experts from the UN’s cultural body next month focused on the Mughrabi Bridge, a wooden walkway that leads to the Temple Mount.  In turn, the Palestinians are to drop, for now, a debate on five resolutions condemning Israel’s occupation of the West Bank.
This is the same UNESCO that

     … has accepted the Palestinian Authority as a state, claims Rachel’s Tomb and the Tomb of the Patriarchs [Me'arat Hamachpela, the Patriarch's Cave] are not exclusively Jewish sites and also belong to Christians and Muslims. 

 which caused Netanyahu to slam:

         …world culture organization UNESCO’s decision to characterize the site of Rachel’s Tomb as a Muslim mosque.  ”The attempt to separate the nation of Israel from its cultural heritage is absurd,” said the prime minister.
What is going on here?  What is developing behind-the-scenes?  What secret diplomatic activity is happening?
Will there be a new “holy basin” plan?

    Likud chairman MK Binyamin Netanyahu warns incoming US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will try to internationalize holy sites in Jerusalem.  Likud party chairman and Knesset Opposition leader MK Binyamin Netanyahu warned at the Jerusalem Conference Wednesday that the Obama administration and leftist Israeli politicians will try to internationalize holy sites in Jerusalem — and he vowed to fight the move.

    Netanyahu told the audience, “Some politicians are trying to blur the importance of the Temple Mount to the Jewish People by referring to it as the ‘Holy Basin.’ We, as Jews, know who built the Temple Mount.”

    The term “Holy Basin” refers to the area of the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, Mount Zion and a variety of Christian holy sites which the administration of former U.S. President Bill Clinton recommended be administered under a “special regime.”

    This raises the issue of who would administer the Temple Mount, since at present the Wakf Islamic Authority controls the site, albeit under Israeli sovereignty. Moreover, the Arab neighborhoods surrounding the Temple Mount, home to tens of thousands of Israeli Arab residents, are also a part of greater Jerusalem, and thereby fall into the same discussion.

So, who now is being, perhaps, lax in the guardianship of united Jerusalem and the Temple Mount?

A HUGE piece of the prophetic puzzle today was announced, and this one can certainly be written down in the history books. Secretly for many years, Israel and the King of Jordan have had agreements regarding the Temple Mount. But recent agreements drawn with the Catholic Church and Israel suggest that we are truly on our way to a negotiated part of Temple Mount, where the International 3rd Jewish Temple will be built….and the King of Jordan will make it happen!!
A historic agreement signed in Amman Sunday, March 31, between Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Jordan’s King Abdullah II takes a new stand on Jerusalem – one of the core issues subject to negotiation with Israel – by accepting the king as Custodian of the city’s Holy Sites. The Palestinians agreed that Abdullah “will oversee and manage the Waqf (Muslim religious authority) in Jerusalem” and represent the interests of the Holy Sites “in relevant international forums… through feasible legal means.”
Where the Palestinian (Wafa) and Jordanian (Petra) versions of the same agreement differ is over the definition of “Palestinian sovereignty.”
debkafile: However, by this document, the Palestinian leader and the king have laid the foundation for a mixed Arab-Palestinian-Israeli framework for managing the shrines holy to Jews (who are not mentioned), Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem. It has opened the door to what many will be perceive as a proposal to internationalize Jerusalem’s sanctuaries, a status affirmed but never honored from 1948 to 1967.
This foundation will not only raise strong Israeli objections but also be challenged by many Palestinians and therefore will have to last a long and tortuous course to survive.
Its importance lies in that the Palestinian Authority has taken the historically momentous step of ceding to the Hashemite throne the custodianship – religious, political, legal, and security – of the Muslim shrines on Temple Mount with authority over the Palestinian Waqf.
It means that henceforth, instead of the Palestinian Authority, Israel will have to engage the Jordanian government in discussions of matters pertaining to Temple Mount, especially hyper-sensitive security arrangements.
This should not be too much of a stretch since in practice, Israeli and Jordanian intelligence have cooperated quietly on such issues for many years.
The Hashemite House comes out of the accord with Palestinian recognition for the first time as the Custodian of the Holy Places of Jerusalem, especially the Mosque of al Aqsa, a title which parallels the Saudi king’s traditional title as Guardian of the Holy Places to Islam in Mecca and Medina.
The degree of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s involvement in Jordanian-Palestinian accord is still to be determined and also whether Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni (in charge of negotiations with the Palestinians) were privy to its substance.
The Arab League summit meeting in Doha March 26-27, which debated the dormant Saudi Peace Plan,  was certainly not in the picture. Those rulers now have much to chew on.
It may be instructive to cite here the exclusive debkafile report published on Dec. 27, 2012:
A confederation plan for a Palestinian West Bank state and Jordan was the real subject of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s recent conversation with King Abdullah in Amman, debkafile’s sources reveal – not Syria. This idea has become a focal talking point in Amman, Washington and Palestinian centers. It ties in with the report from US and Jordanian sources that Israel and the Palestinians will resume talks in the spring.
The new Abbas-Abdullah accord appears to be a strong move towards bringing this plan to fruition.
That it is a practical document and not just a declaration is indicated by the detailed definition of the Custodian’s purview appearing in the Jordanian version:
“Recalling the unique religious importance to all Muslims of al-Masjid al-Aqsa with its 144 dunams including include the Qibil Mosque of al-Aqsa, the Mosque of the Dome of the Rock and all its mosques, buildings, walls, courtyards, attached areas over and beneath the ground (a hint at Israeli archeological digs for the Biblical city and Temple)…”
Jordan and Palestine also pledged “all efforts to protect Jerusalem and its Holy Sites from Israeli escalatory Judaisation” – according to another clause in the Petra version.
On at least one very important point the Palestinian and Jordanian communiqués varied significantly:
According to PA Minister of Waqf and Religious Affairs Mahmoud Habash, “The agreement confirmed Jordan’s historic role in caring for the religious sanctuaries. It also confirmed Palestinian sovereignty over all of Palestine, including East Jerusalem as its capital.”
However, Article 3:3.1 of the agreement published in full by Jordan puts it this way: “The Government of the State of Palestine, as the expression of the right of self-determination of the Palestinian people, shall have the right to exercise sovereignty over all parts of its territory, including Jerusalem.
While hailing their accord as a historic breakthrough, the Palestinian and Jordanian leaders will obviously need to get all parts of their act together before they face Israel.

Jordan Moves to Scrap Peace Treaty over Arrest of Jerusalem Mufti

World War III may have been close and may have been prevented on the Temple Mount, where the Jerusalem Mufti was arrested and then released for throwing chairs at Jews on Jerusalem Unification Day.
The arrest of the Jerusalem Mufti on Tuesday for throwing chairs at Jews on the Temple Mount prompted the Jordanian parliament on Wednesday to demand that King Abdullah expel the Israeli envoy. The legislators also called to start a draft for a law to scrap the peace treaty with Israel.
Police arrested an Arab from entering the Temple Mount, and an enraged Grand Mufti and other Arabs began throwing plastic chairs at five Jews who entered the Temple Mount under police escort. Arab media said they prostrated themselves, an act of prayer that the Waqf prohibits, except for Muslims.  (continued below)

The Palestinian Authority doesn’t need rocks, firebombs, guns and suicide bombers. Senior Fatah official Jibril Rajoub has a better way to kill Jews: “If we had a nuke, we’d use it this very morning.”
Rajoub  is a classic example of Israel’s revolving-door policy of releasing terrorists from jail so they can return to terror, and in this case, explicitly back the annihilation of Israel with a nuclear weapon.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told The Washington Post the group did not carry out any act of prayer. As usual, Palestinian Authority media exaggerated the entire scene. Arab media always report that Jews “stormed” the Temple Mount. The Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency reported that 50, and not five, Jews prostrated themselves.
Israeli police stepped in to end the clash before it could get out of hand and arrested the Mufti, a rare action.
It did not take much time for Jordan to hear of the altercation, and the country’s parliament unanimously agreed that the kingdom should expel the Israeli ambassador and recall its own ambassador from Tel Aviv. The parliament added its own imagination to the facts and claimed that Israel is trying to build a bridge between the Al Aqsa mosque and Jerusalem “settlements.” The parliament also called for drafting legislation to scrap the peace treaty with Israel.
Several hours later, Israel released the Mufti, which probably was not related to the Jordanian parliament’s move. The government knows full well that the Arab world will not sit passive with the Jerusalem Mufti being taken from his home for interrogation.
The U.S. State Department was asked by reporters to comment on the fuss, and assistant spokesman Patrick Ventrell told them, “We urge all sides to respect the status quo of this holy site and to exercise restraint and refrain from provocative actions.
As usual, the State Dept. does not what it is talking about.
Status quo? From when? From 1967?
The Israeli government passed the Protection of Holy Places Law on June 27, 1967.
It states:
“The Holy Places shall be protected from desecration and any other violation and from anything likely to violate the freedom of access of the members of the different religions to the places sacred to them or their feelings with regard to those places.”
The wise State Dept. does not also know much about the Mufti, Muhammad Ahmad Hussein.
In 2006, he stated that suicide bombings of Israelis were “legitimate, of course, as long as it plays a role in the resistance.”
On the other hand, one could say he simply was maintaining the status quo, which the Oslo Accords and the peace treaty with Jordan changed.
Jordan controlled the Temple Mount until the Six-Day War in 1967. Before then, Amman did not let Jews visit holy sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. It also prohibited Christians from most churches and holy sites in the Old City, Judea and Samaria, except for few and far between visiting foreign dignitaries.
After Jerusalem was restored to Israel in 1967, the Israeli government didn’t want to have much to do with the Temple Mount for many reasons, not the least of which was the concern of a religious war with Muslims as well as the complicated and complex issue in Jewish law of whether it is even permitted for a Jew to ascend to the site of the destroyed First and Second Temples.
The government left authority for the Temple Mount site in the hands of the Muslim Waqf site, with the stipulation that Israeli police could patrol the site and enter the mosque area, if necessary.
The “status quo” ended in 1969, when an Australian evangelical Christian tried to burn down the mosque to hasten the Second Coming, if not World War III.
Muslims began to renovate buildings on the Temple Mount and tried to minimize the presence of Israel soldiers. A plot by a Jewish underground movement to blow up he Al Aqsa mosque and Dome of the Rock to awaken Jews to a spiritual revival, or alternatively, bring on World War III.
After the First Intifada broke out, Muslims protested at the holy site over a rumor that Jews were about lay the cornerstone of the Third Temple. Israeli police killed 22 Arabs in an effort to quell it Ever since, the Palestinian Authority has increasingly taken control of the Temple Mount, and the Muslim Waqf has tried to destroy any historical evidence that the Holy Temples ever existed.
Before Jordan signed the peace treaty, it insisted on a clause gave Amman a preferred status in future Israel-Arab talks over the Temple Mount.
The Palestinian Authority last week put a crowning touch on its effort to seal the fate of the Temple Mount and keep Jews out forever.
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas  cashed in the chips several weeks ago.
He and Jordan’s King Abdullah signed an agreement with the “common goal to defend” Jerusalem and prevent Israeli from trying to make United Jerusalem Jewish.
The PA considers the agreement a stepping stone to taking over the Temple Mount and establishing Jerusalem as the capital of its desired independent country.
Palestinian Authority Religious Affairs Minister Mahmoud al-Habash said the agreement confirmed Jordan’s role as protector of the city’s holy sites and “Palestinian sovereignty over all of Palestine, including its capital East Jerusalem,” according to Ma’an.
Abbas agreed that the Jordanian king is custodian of holy site in Jerusalem because he knows Jordan can exercise more diplomatic muscle than he can when it comes to “the historical principles agreed by Jordan and Palestine to exert joint efforts to protect the city and holy sites from Israeli judaization attempts.”
The entire hullabaloo over the arrest and release of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Jordanian parliament’s echoing the Egyptian threat to tear up the peace treaty with Israel brought shivers to President Shimon Peres.
Nothing is more important to President Peres than the word “peace,” and he staged in his Jerusalem Unification Day speech Wednesday, “Jerusalem is dear to us. The peace with Jordan is dear to us…. The peace that was achieved between us is peace for all Jewish, Muslim and Christian worshipers, as one.
“The whole world knows that when we heard the voice of peace coming from Egypt and Jordan, we did not reject them. We did not hesitate and we held out our hand for peace.”
He added that Israel defends the rights of all faiths to pray at their sites. Peres was proud that in Jerusalem, one can hear the sounds of church bells, the prayer calls of the Arab muezzin and the prayers of Jews at the Western Wall.
One can also hear the sound of chairs thrown by the Jerusalem Mufti at Jews on the Temple Mount.

King of Jordan?

I have discussed the possibility of King Abdullah II, being involved in some king of end-time scenario for the past 10 years.  With this latest news breaking it would appear that the King may indeed have some role to play.  For those of you who are not familiar with this, here’s a short back story.
Abdullah is a descendant of the Hashemite kings.  Hashem was the uncle of Mohammed, so Abdullah is a direct descendant of the prophet Mohammed.  He holds sway in both the Sunni and Shia world.  He is also responsible for the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and nothing happens their without his direct approval.  So, now we see a newly formed alliance between the Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas and the King, the former acknowledging the king as Custodian of the city’s Holy Sites!  
There is also something else at play here and it is this.  Jordan is already populated by about 75% “Palestinians.”  When I present this information at conferences I use quotes from Jordanian heads of state who declare, that Palestine and Jordan are one.  So let’s look at a few scenarios.
1.  War is coming to the Middle East and when it does I believe it will be the fulfillment of Psalm 83 – I interviewed Bill Salus yesterday about this, and it will air this Thursday on Acceleration Radio – and perhaps Isaiah 17, the destruction of Damascus.
2.  Nukes or chemical weapons will most likely be used.
3.  Israel will expand her borders.
4.  The King will come to the rescue, as a peace maker and offer a two-state solution by stepping down from his throne and giving Jordan to the Palestinians.
5.  He will hailed as the greatest peace-maker in the history of the world.
6.  He then will be asked to set up a constitutional monarchy in Iraq, as the country continues to be unstable and is in desperate need of a strongman.
7.  Since he controls the Temple Mount, will he then allow the Jews to rebuild their temple?
In closing todays post:  This latest development giving Abdullah control of Jerusalem’s, Holy Sites is another step giving the King more power and control. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.  Right now we are on this side of prophecy being fulfilled and we all see dimly.  However when these things begin to happen it will become clear to most of us.  In the meantime we watch and are ready because in the end these events herald the return of the King!

Pope to get seat over the Tomb of King David

Israel seems to have sold Jerusalem to the Vatican.

An historic agreement has been drafted between Israel and the Vatican. The Israeli authorities have granted the Pope an official seat in the room where the Last Supper is believed to have taken place, on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, and where David and Solomon, Jewish kings of Judea, are considered by some researchers, to also be buried.

It is the culmination of a long campaign by the Catholic Church to regain religious stewardship over the place where Jesus is supposed to have broken bread and drunk wine with his disciples on the eve of his crucifixion.

This is an enormous issue pushed through without any public debate.

According to our sources, the agreement, which is expected to be ratified next June, gives the Pope a “special authority” over the second floor of the building, so that Christian pilgrims will be able to celebrate religious functions like Pope John Paul did in 2000.
The agreement constitutes Israel’s capitulation to the Vatican’s efforts to “Christianize” the holy site, like when a Catholic convent was built in Auschwitz.

The Catholic Church has long wanted control over part of the area on Mt. Zion so as to turn it into an international religious center for Catholics. The blueprint of the agreement reads as follows: “The Vatican hands over this use of the Cenacle to the Custody of the Holy Land which will keep the Cenacle open from 6 AM to 8 AM for the celebration of the Holy Mass”.

In the long term, the gesture will increase tensions between Jews and the large assets of the Vatican. The Church has long been working to reduce Jewish rights in Jerusalem and in the Old City. Now, after the Muslim Waqf authority expelled the Christians from the Temple Mount and turned it into a mosque, it’s the turn of the Vatican to lay its hands on the Jewish Jerusalem.

The Custody of the Holy Land, the Franciscan order who, with Vatican approval, is in charge of the holy sites, campaigns with the Arabs against Israel.
As far back as May 2000, Yasser Arafat met Islamic and Christian clergymen at the presidential offices in Ramallah to back Palestinian Arab sovereignty over Jerusalem. Among the clergymen who attended the meeting, Diodoros I, patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church, Torkom II, patriarch of the Armenian Orthodox Church, Catholic Patriarch Michel Sabbah and officials from the Custody of the Holy Land.

"An official meeting took place in Ramallah, Palestine, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine". This is the official note of the Vatican press office about the meeting between the Catholic officials and the PLO representatives which took place this week.

The Vatican is also asking that Israel hand over to the Vatican’s control dozens of sites, 19 in Judea and Samaria and 28 in Jerusalem. The Catholic Church want to discuss some properties on Mount of Olives, Har Hazeitim, which is the very history of the Jewish people. If you want to keep Jerusalem united, you have to keep Har Hazeitim. The Vatican knows that.

In 1989 charges were made by the Catholic authorities that Israel desecrated the Cenacle on Mount Zion. The charges, which appeared in the Italian bishops’ newspaper Avvenire, said that the Israelis put a memorial plaque on the roof of the Cenacle. The plaque was put in place after the 1948 War of Independence in memory of soldiers who fell in the Old City and whose burial place was unknown. Every year, the bereaved families cleaned the plaque.

Why did the Catholic authorities complain? Last year a similar charge was made from the Catholic authorities that Israel wants to “Judaize” Mount Zion.

Should the Vatican gain sovereignty over Mount of Zion, millions of Christian pilgrims will flock to the site, and this will threaten the Israeli presence in the Old City’s Jewish Quarter and Jewish access to the Western Wall.
The Vatican wants the Jews out of the Old City and apparently Israel’s government is agreeing with them. Turning the Cenacle into an active church is also a way of desecrating the holiness of the site known as the Tomb of David.

The Vatican and the Palestinian Liberation Organisation expressed a common position in the Basic Agreement of 15 February 2000, intended to support the recognition of a special statute for the City of Jerusalem. In the memorandum, signed by Vatican officials and the PLO, an organization dedicated to the mass deportation of Israel’s Jews, the Catholic Church wants Israel relinquishing sovereignty at the Western Wall and the Temple Mount. The Vatican-PLO agreement’s preamble on Jerusalem shows that the Vatican's attitude on Israel's capital is still stuck in the unforgivable anti-Semitic rhetoric of the 1940s.

Until 1948, Christian access to the Cenacle was severely limited, because it was used as a mosque. Since then, the State of Israel is committed to protecting the holy places of all religions, and guaranteeing the right of worship for all faiths.

But no Israeli government must tolerate any policy of division, “shared control” or “internationalization” that opens the door to a return to the Arab apartheid of Jordanian occupation between 1948 and 1967.

Jerusalem is not for sale. For thousands of years, the Cenacle area was almost always totally closed off to Jews.

Sovereignty over Mount Zion is politics, not only religion. The day after the Pope celebrated a mass on Mt. Zion in 2000, he went to Yasser Arafat headquarter to support the Palestinians’ right to return.

A few months later, the Oslo war began. And Jews were sacrified again on the altar of “peace”. It was their last supper.

This week, the Vatican in its official documents began referring to the "State of Palestine".

• Pope to get seat over the Tomb of King David

Outgoing Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon is leaving his mark on Jerusalem. After years of negotiations with the Vatican over property and tax issues, it seems that an historic breakthrough is near.  Headlines in the Jerusalem Post announced,"Jerusalem is on verge of signing agreement to formalize diplomatic relations with the Holy See".

However, there are conflicting and disturbing reports regarding the status of the "Last Supper Room" (also referred to as the "Upper Room", "Cenacle Shrine" or "Coenaculum"), which sits above the traditional Tomb of King David and is a central part of  the Diaspora Yeshiva grounds on Mt. Zion. For many years the Catholic church has been vying for ownership of the room which is considered by many Christians to be the traditional site of the location of the last supper. The room itself is a 12th century Crusader structure, built on top of the traditional Tomb of King David.

Whereas The Jerusalem Post claims that the two sides have "essentially decided to agree to disagree on the matter", Israel Hayom is reporting that the agreement will grant the Pope "an official seat" in the Upper Room, as well as giving the Vatican "a special modicum of control over the site".  Algemeiner reports that Israel "did not give up sovereignty", but "will allow the Vatican control over the site".

The Israeli Foreign Ministry makes no mention of Mt. Zion in their report of January 29^th.

Jewishisrael contacted the Diaspora Yeshiva on Mt. Zion for their reaction to the incoming news reports. The Tomb of King David and the room of the purported last supper are on Yeshiva grounds. For decades, the Diaspora Yeshiva has never interfered with the considerable Christian tourism to the "Upper Room" and has even taken steps to renovate the area.

Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, son of the Diaspora Yeshiva's founder, who teaches at the institution as well as serves as the rabbi of the community of Metzad in Gush Etzion, reacted with shock to the possible compromising of the area. He told JewishIsrael that these reports infer "a change in the status quo and will disrupt the Yeshiva environment". He said that "church chanting and services would disturb the Jews who come from all over Israel and the world to pray and recite psalms at the tomb of King David –which is directly below the Upper Room".

Rabbi Goldstein noted that the Diaspora Yeshiva directors have never been consulted or included in the negotiations nor have they been kept abreast of developments by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

We contacted Rick Halpern, director of the Mt. Zion Redevelopment Project, who has been instrumental in developing and renovating the Diaspora Yeshiva grounds and the area in and around the Tomb of King David. The following is his response to the incoming reports:

"Having worked with the Diaspora Yeshiva to restore several of their buildings on Mt. Zion, I am very disturbed to hear this, though I am not surprised.  One of the outstanding features of Mt. Zion is the peacefulness of its setting.  Though the Yeshiva maintains a dominant presence, other groups from other denominations are also there, and all have coexisted respectfully.  The Vatican has aggressively sought the Last Supper Room and other sites in Israel for years, using whatever means they have to get them.  Though the Last Supper room has been a non-denominational tourist destination for Christians of all sects, this latest move is an affront to that as well.  In the real estate business, location-location-location is the key.  The Vatican has their whole infrastructure in Rome, while Jerusalem is where the "action" is.  This strategic move by the Vatican will be used to openly promote their agenda, regardless of the placid Jewish environment & the non-denominational Christian atmosphere that surrounds David's Tomb."

 JewishIsrael has repeatedly expressed concern over any negotiations which would compromise Mount Zion. We have been especially concerned over Daniel Ayalon's position as chief negotiator on Vatican issues, since he is a maverick when it comes to ventures to grant Christians special status in Israel.  Both Daniel Ayalon and his wife, Anne, are intimately involved with the Evangelical and Catholic communities and have comfortably appeared on missionary television . Anne has significant business and real estate dealings with the Christian community and was listed as a "Talking Head" for the Pope's Visit on Christian-Israeli Relations” in a pamphlet put out by The Israel Project (T.I.P.) at the time of Pope Benedict XVI’s visit in May 2009.

In November 2005, this writer reacted to reports of an apparent swap deal between Israel and the Vatican which would grant the Vatican control of the Upper Room. I was in correspondence with David Chappell, then deputy managing editor of the Times of London, who confirmed my concerns of a draft agreement.  At the time, a number of activists formed the Committee to Save Mt. Zion and effective pressure was exerted on the Israeli government to abandon the plans to relinquish control of the Upper Room.
