“First of all, to me that would be an act of tyranny,” he said of the gun control measures currently under consideration. “So the people in Milwaukee County do not have to worry about me enforcing some sort of order that goes out and collects everybody’s handgun, or rifles, or any kind of firearm and makes them turn them in.”
“The reason is I don’t want to get shot, because I believe that if somebody tried to enforce something of that magnitude, you would see the second coming of an American revolution, the likes of which would make the first revolution pale by comparison,” he added.
So he doesn’t want to get shot trying to confiscate guns…gee, that’s a lot smarter than the socialists who are pushing for gun control!
This sheriff’s office even put out a radio ad telling people they needed to go buy a firearm and learn to use it to protect themselves.

I realize this is a few months old, but in light of the ongoing crisis on the boarder, it’s worth bringing up and remembering.
In February, Texas Governor Rick Perry had some alarming things to say about President Obama’s closed-door meeting with the governors of our 50 states.

"I hope that we’re not about to make a tragic mistake in this country by hollowing out our Guard in our states…in some political statement of, ‘you’re all going to feel the pain,’ because that’s certainly what I heard from the president of the United States today," Perry said.
"As a matter of fact, he said in that meeting — he said: ‘If I hear any of you pushing back, making statements about Washington spends too much money, you’ll hear from me.’ If I’m a Democrat governor, if I’m a Republican governor, I’m highly offended by that."
Perry accused the president of “making a political statement about the Guard.”
In his announcement on Monday, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the Army National Guard, which currently numbers about 355,000 soldiers, would drop to 335,000 by 2017.
Last year, President Obama infamously said, “I am not a dictator.” It’s one thing to say it, and another thing to act upon it. Threatening governors who “push back” or make statements about the corruption in Washington is a completely dictatorial means to govern.

A Kenyan police department's search and rescue team on Friday reported that they discovered four more decomposed bodies of police officers who
were missing after a brutal mass murder last Saturday, Nov. 10, in
northwest region of Samburu, bringing the death toll in the grisly
massacre to 45. Police officials believe the killers are tied to radical
Islamists who have bandied the names of the Obama family including President Barack Obama's Muslim grandmother, Sarah Obama, a known Wahhabi-Islamist sympathizer.
A Kenyan government spokesman reported this latest discovery, saying the bodies were recovered in the blood soaked Suguta Valley which has been branded as the valley of death after several people have been killed by the Islamists, according to an Israeli police intelligence source.
According to best-selling author Ed Klein in a World Net Daily news story, since his inauguration, President Obama’s family in Kenya has been on a mission to use the Obama name to transform Kenya from the nation’s current Christian majority to an Islamic majority that will spread Islamic law, or Shariah, throughout the country.
Klein's article claims the Kenyan Obama family members are devout fundamentalist Muslims known as Wahhabists, although there are no reports of membership in the al-Qaeda-affiliate Al Shabaab. Wahhabism originated in Saudi Arabia and is considered extremist by many Muslims.
According to Islamic terrorism expert Walid Shoebat, after President Obama's inauguration, the Muslim side of the Obama family in Kenya went from rags to riches practically overnight. They became one of the most influential families in western Kenya and have even extended their sphere of influence to Saudi Arabia.
When Sarah, president Obama’s grandmother, decided to go to the Hajj, an obligatory pilgrimage to Mecca with Musa, President Obama’s first cousin, they were welcomed with open arms and were provided a special escort with full security detail and first-class treatment at the Saudi royal court.
In this latest incident, the Kenyan police officers were killed last Saturday while on a special mission to arrest animal livestock poachers in Suguta Valley after being ambushed and shot arbitrarily by heavily armed terrorists believed to have come from Turkana.
Fears have been expressed that the number of police officers killed by terrorists in the troubled region could rise as bodies continue to be discovered in the valley. So far one police officer is still missing, according to the Israeli source who monitors al-Qaeda activities in North African nations such as Somalia, Nigeria and Kenya.

The 21,000 Border Patrol agents that we now have are now being forced to retreat if illegals are throwing rocks at them and are no longer allowed to block drug smugglers paths as they try to make it into America with their shipment under the new directions from top administration officials.
From now on the agents must keep their weapons holstered as the vehicles drive by since the instructions state that they can’t use their weapons against “a moving vehicle merely fleeing from agents.”The new rules that were signed by Michael Fisher, Chief of U.S. Border Patrol, force agents to flee when in harms way rather than defend themselves, saying “Agents shall not discharge firearms in response to thrown or hurled projectiles… agents should obtain a tactical advantage in these situations, such as seeking cover or distancing themselves.”
Although even in not allowing them to adequately use force when they feel it’s necessary there’s still ambiguous language that covers the collective back of the agency in case the new rules get one of their agents killed. They say that “Agents shall not discharge their firearms at a moving vehicle unless the agent has a reasonable belief that… deadly force is being used against an agent,” however there’s no real distinction as to what exactly “deadly force” is.
There’s also language within the new instructions that suggest
penalizing the agents if they don’t retreat. They say that agents
“should not place themselves in the path of a motor vehicle or use their
body to block a vehicles’s path.”
The new rules came from the new head of the DHS, Jeh Johnson, and
were recommended by a report from an advocacy group that wants to limit
the policing of illegals trying to enter the nation.The report came from the Police Executive Research Forum which the DHS commissioned to do. Within it they said that agents should be banned from standing in front of oncoming vehicles to stop them as well as not be allowed to shoot at illegals who are throwing rocks at them.
Even though mid-level DHS officials opposed the rules and argued that restricting agent’s ability to defend themselves “could create a more dangerous environment [especially for agents operating] in rural or desolate areas, often alone, where concealment, cover and egress is not an option,” they were still implemented and will be enforced per the wishes of the advocacy group.
Three Border Patrol agents have been killed in the past few years, one of them was Brian Terry who was killed with a rifle from the notorious “Fast and Furious” scandal that has yet to be resolved.
The latest restrictions being placed on agents has received praise from advocates wanting to increase immigration into the U.S. Such people include Juanita Molina who’s the director of the Border Action Network, Democrat Representative Zoe Lofgren, and Senator Robert Menendez from New Jersey who drafted the June 2013 immigration bill which would increase the flow of legal immigrants and guest workers by up to 40 million over the upcoming decade. It’s worthwhile noting that nearly the same amount of Americans will be turning 18 over the same period of time.
Fisher said in a conference on Friday that they will be equipping agents with short range tasers and pellet guns along with pepper spray in order for them to deter attacks, sounds effective doesn’t it?
He was also reluctant to admit that agents have come under attack 6,000 times since 2007, having been assaulted with rocks 1,713 times since 2010 yet only responding with deadly force 43 times over the same period and killed 10 drug smugglers.

the problem of unaccompanied minors trying to sneak into the US.
The instructions are printed in English and Spanish, of course — but also, surprisingly, they’re instructions for help are also in Chinese.
Hundreds of Chinese teens are slipping into the US a year, immigration groups say, mostly through Central America and Cuba.
They make their way to New York City, typically on buses, where they are farmed out across the country to work in Chinese restaurants.
Lauren Burke, a lawyer who speaks Mandarin, has worked with some 200 kids under age 18 in the last five years. She now has a caseload of 30 who need legal status.
“Some of them are actually trafficked by their parents. The parents are very complicit,” Burke said. “Sometimes, the family member gets duped by somebody who says . . . ‘I see you can’t afford to send your kid to school anymore. If you send them to America, there are streets paved with gold.’ ”
They take complicated routes to get here, through cities where visas are easily secured. Guatemala and Cuba are favored stops, said Burke, executive director of Atlas: DIY, an advocacy group in Brooklyn.
From Guatemala, they take overland routes to the US border.
One of Burke’s clients who flew from Bejing to Guatemala then took buses to the border. Once there, smugglers was put him in a coffin to cross the border.
Another girl hid in a Guatemalan tour-bus bathroom that was marked out of order.
Those who land in Cuba come to the United States hidden under the floorboards of boats.
Another client took a less typical but equally circuitous route from her home in Fujian province through Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, then New York.
Juliet thought she was coming to live with the dad she hadn’t seen since she was a toddler. Her mom paid a “snakehead,” or smuggler, $80,000 to spirit her to America.
She was 15 when she left China for the monthlong journey to New York. She landed, alone, at JFK Airport with a fake passport and understanding no English.
A day later, her dad sent her on a bus in Chinatown bound for to Illinois, where she was to work in a Chinese restaurant. She doesn’t know if he was paid to send her, but it’s likely.
“I hated it here,” she told The Post. “They didn’t tell me anything.”
Juliet worked as a waitress in Illinois until customers asked her age and why she wasn’t in school. the restaurant owners enrolled her in school. where a classmate alerted her mom, who A parent there alerted a child advocates group.
Juliet eventually met Burke, who took her case. She lived in a Manhattan shelter and a succession of foster homes and graduated from high school.
Now 21, she waits tables and attends nursing school in Rochester. She obtained a green card through a program that helps abused, abandoned, or neglected children.
She says she sends money to her mom to pay off the snakehead.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman lashed out at the hundreds of Israeli
Arab demonstrators who clashed with police at Umm el-Fahm junction on
Friday during a protest against IDF efforts to track down three
kidnapped teenagers in the West Bank.
Liberman, who heads the Israel Beiteinu party, said that the demonstrators "should be treated as terrorists in every sense of the word."
The foreign minister said he would urge Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch to "act with determination and speed in arresting the inciters so that they could be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
"Israel Beiteinu will demand that the government discuss the dangerous radicalization of the Israeli Arab leadership and to deal with it in a thorough, severe matter," Liberman said.
Hundreds of Israeli Arabs and pro-Palestinian supporters angry over Israel's military operations in the West Bank and Gaza burned tires and staged a demonstration near Umm al-Fahm junction on Route 65.
Police massed forces in the area in an attempt to restore order after demonstrators hurled stones in their direction.
The public security minister reacted angrily to reports that some of the demonstrators chanted for more kidnappings of soldiers.
"These are grievous statements that attest to the radicalization of parts of the Arab public," Aharonovich said. "The inciters will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law and in accordance with the law. We will not allow these events to interrupt the daily lives of citizens in this country."
The authorities knew beforehand that the demonstration was taking place. Earlier Friday, police warned motorists to stay away from the area.
The violence had escalated earlier in the afternoon on Friday, but as of the evening hours police have managed to quell the unrest.
Hadash MK Mohammed Barakeh was among those demonstrating.
"This demonstration is a protest against the violence of the IDF and against the illegal arrests and illegal activities of the IDF in the territories," Barakeh said.
The demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and chanted "With spirit and blood, we will redeem you, Palestine" and "We will redeem the martyrs."
Police vowed to prevent the demonstrators from "harming the routine of Umm el-Fahm residents and endangering motorists."

The delegation is headed by Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz and includes members such as National Security Advisor Yossi Cohen, deputy director general for strategic affairs in the Foreign Ministry Jeremy Issacharoff, head of the strategic division of the Strategic Affairs Ministry Dr. Sima Shine and representatives of the Atomic Energy Commission, the Mossad and the Military Intelligence Directorate.

Washington agreed to attend the meeting, despite the short notice from Israel that issued the request to meet with the Americans only on last Tuesday
The delegation will meet, among others, Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and US Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns.
The last-minute delegation was brought together due to fear in Jerusalem that the world powers will overly compromise with the Iranians in order to reach a permanent agreement. Major rifts remain between the world powers and Iran in regards to several different fields and the parties have yet to draft the permanent agreement.
However, Israel has voiced concern that the powers are willing to let Iran retain its enrichment capability beyond the minimum required for peaceful uses.
Israel insists that the agreement should strive for a “zero enrichment” option – and that if Iran is allowed to enrich uranium, it can only be at low levels of 3.5%, as to prolong the time it would take the country to produce a nuclear bomb from months to years.
Israel will also clarify to the Americans that the agreement must be based on the model of disarmament that will be implemented both in the case of Iran and in the case of Syria, rather than the proposed monitoring model. Israeli sources further believe that the agreement should also refer to Iran’s missile program.
Israel maintains a dialogue with the world powers, particularly with the Americans, the French, the British and the Germans.
Several days ago, Britain’s lead negotiator in talks on Iran’s nuclear program Simon Gass met with Steinitz.
The Intelligence Minister also spoke recently with France and England’s chief nuclear negotiators. Steinitz said on Saturday that “the fact that the Americans were willing to meet with the Israeli delegation on such a short notice is deeply appreciated.”

Some Middle East news (see references below) and countless other social media sites in Arabic are disturbed over some tweets that claim they were sent by Abu Turab Al-Maqdisi, a spokesperson for the ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria). The tweets stated that the head of the ISIS, Al-Baghdadi intends to destroy the Ka’ba, the holiest shrine to Islam:
“#The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. People go to Hajj (Pilgrimage) to rub their hands on stones and not to worship Allah. We swear that if we occupy it we will destroy the Ka’ba that is worshiped”. (Translation by Shoebat.com)And in another tweet:
“Soon, Allah willing under the leadership of Baghdadi, we will destroy the Ka’ba that is worshipped besides Allah”. (see references below)Others doubt the source claiming that the Saudi intelligence issued such tweets to smear the reputation of the ISIS.
With the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) having taken control of border posts in Iraq on the border with Jordan, putting Saudi Arabia’s security in danger, Saudi King Abdullah has put the army and security forces on the highest alert. According to the Saudi state-run news agency:
“Anticipating (that) the terrorist organizations or others might carry out actions that might disturb the security of the homeland, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has ordered taking all necessary measures to protect the gains of the homeland and its territories in addition to the security and stability of the Saudi people.”Regardless, the destruction of sites associated with early Islam is a fact and has been an on-going phenomenon that has occurred mainly in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. The demolition has focused on mosques, burial sites, homes and historical locations associated with the Prophet Muhammad and many of the founding personalities of early Islamic history. The reason for much of the demolitions is that Wahhabists and Salafists believe that Muslim traditionalists go too far and see that even touching objects is considered iconic and thus is viewed as idol worship.
Saudi reconnaissance planes have found ISIS terrorists heading for the Saudi border, aiming to seize control of the Iraqi-Saudi border crossing at Ar Ar.
What is also upsetting Muslim fundamentalists worldwide is the Las Vegas looking structures that were built overlooking the Ka’ba known as The Seven Towers, built by the Bin Laden Group on top of what is known as Mount Babel.
Al-Sharq Al-Awasat had this to say about the massive project that was completed in Mecca:
“The project Towers Of The House is the first project in Mecca … which carry seven towers … “Towers Of The House” is on the area of Mount Babel in Ajyad. The site overlooks directly on the Haram al-Sharif (Holy House [Ka’ba]).”
“is also the largest tower in the world in terms of area. Contractor Bin Laden Group, Saudi Arabia … Classified as the largest building urban in terms of the total area on the face of the globe, where excess space land for the project 1.4 million square meters and consists of 7 towers”.
The 1.4 million square meters 7 tower structure (7th from left to right) is 3 times larger than the tallest building in the world, the other “Burj” in Dubai.

The biggest fortress ever uncovered in Israel from the pre-Herod period was inaugurated in March 2014 in a secret ceremony. The
fortress, that was built some 3,800 years ago, was uncovered during a
15-year archeological dig in the City of David, one of the most complex
and unique digs ever done in Israel.
The
Spring House – a massive Canaanite fortress, that was built in the 18
century BC, was excavated in a complex operation led by Professor Ronny
Reich from Haifa University and Eli Shukron from the Israel Antiquities
Authority.
The
fortress protects the Biblical Gihon Spring with a massive
fortification that isolates the spring and allows access to it only to
those coming from the west – from inside the city.
According
to Shmuel II chapter 5, King David conquered the “Zion Fortress” from
the Jebusite king and his men. The Spring House raises the possibility
that it is the same impressive fortress, into which King David’s men
entered as they were conquering Jerusalem from the Jebusites.

A safe access to Jerusalem’s water sources
Archeological
digs in the Biblical City of David started in 1867 – exactly 100 years
before the city returned to Jewish control – by The Palestine
Exploration Fund (P.E.F), led by Captain Charles Warren. But the first
excavator to reach the thick of the fortress, without even realizing it
at the time, was a treasure hunter by the name of Montague Parker, who
was searching for the Ark of the Covenant and King Solomon’s treasures
in the heart of the massive Canaanite fortress between the years
1909-1911.
Parker’s
first dig was done in complete secrecy after he bribed the Turks to
allow him to dig in the site. In May 1911, an attentive guard who was
not among the bribe receivers found out about the dig. Parker had to
flee for his life and escape to Cyprus on a yacht that was waiting for
him at the Jaffa Port. The remnants of the tunnels Parker and his men
dug up a century ago can be seen today in the fortress’ upper part.
The fortress – that has
seven-meters-thick walls made up of 2-3 meters-big stones – was built
3,800 years ago without any mechanic tools.

BAGHDAD—The Sunni Islamist militant group whose three-week blitz through northern Iraq has nearly upended the country’s fragile unity announced itself as a new Islamist “caliphate” on Sunday, unilaterally declaring statehood and demanding allegiance from other Islamist groups.A few days ago we have stated that soon they will demand allegiance (Bay’at) to this arising power.
The announcement, recited in Arabic on the first day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan by spokesman Abu Mohammed Al Adnani into an audio file, effectively renames the group the Islamic State, canceling its previous title of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, or ISIS.
“We have had all the requirements of the Islamic state like fundraising, almsgiving, penalties, and prayers and still have only one thing which is the caliphate,” said Mr. Adnani in the recording. “The legality of all emirates, groups, states, and organizations, becomes null by the expansion of the caliph’s authority and arrival of its troops to their areas.”
The spokesman also declares the group’s leader, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, as the new Islamic State’s caliph. The recorded message was recorded on an Mp3 audio file and distributed through the group’s expansive social media presence.
The announcement revives the idea of an Islamic caliphate that hasn’t existed as a recognized political entity since it was abolished 90 years ago by Kemal Atatürk, the first president of modern Turkey.
There have been various caliphates throughout Islam’s 1,400-year history. The last one, which was governed by the Istanbul-based Ottoman Empire, extended across vast lands throughout North Africa, the Persian Gulf, Eastern Europe, modern Greece and Iraq.

In a shocking revelation made by a veteran U.S. counterterrorism
expert, Hezbollah has infiltrated the Southwest United States by joining

In Hezbollah’s case, a growing “business relationship” with cartels has allowed the Shia Islamic militant group to have a growing presence in the U.S., says Matthew Levitt, an esteemed terrorism expert with an impressive resume. Levitt is a former counterterrorism intelligence analyst at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and State Department counterterrorism adviser. He also served as the No. 2 intelligence official at the U.S. Treasury where he operated the agency’s terrorism and financial intelligence branch.
Levitt offers details of this mind-boggling collaboration between two powerful criminal enterprises in a new book titled: “Hezbollah: The Global Footprint of Lebanon’s Party of God.” A nonprofit dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamic extremism, the Clarion Project, profiled the book in a recent article titled “Growing Hezbollah Presence in Southwest U.S.”
Hezbollah’s business relationship with Mexican drug cartels is a driving force behind this phenomenon, according to the analysis that quotes alarming excerpts from the book. For instance in 2009, a former Chief of Operations for the DEA said that Hezbollah uses “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels.”
A year later a man (Jamal Yousef) arrested in New York admitted stealing weapons from Iraq for Hezbollah and told authorities of a Hezbollah stockpile in Mexico that included 100 M-16 assault rifles, 100 AR-15 rifles, 2500 hand grenades, C4 explosives and anti-tank weapons. That same year a Hezbollah terrorist was captured in Tijuana and a senior Mexican military officer confirmed the group was conducting explosives training for members of Mexican drug cartels.
In the U.S., law enforcement officials across the nation’s Southwest region report a rise in imprisoned gang members with Farsi tattoos that experts say express loyalty to Hezbollah, the book analysis reveals. One U.S. law enforcement official is quoted as saying this: “You could almost pick your city and you would probably have a [Hezbollah] presence.”
This is not surprising considering that for years a number of reports have exposed the connection between Mexico and Middle Eastern terrorists. In 2010 a veteran federal agent in the U.S. immigration system exposed a government cover-up of Middle Eastern terrorists entering the country through Mexico. Analysts said this was the first such open sign of local support for the group (also known as the “Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant”), which is engaged in fierce battles for control of Iraq, and in Syria, in order to create a unified Islamic caliphate.
Israeli and other western intelligence services have warned that the group’s influence is spreading and may have set down roots in the coastal enclave.
The Israeli Air Force struck Osama Hassumi, 29, and Mohammad Fatzih, 24, with a direct missile, as they traveled in a vehicle along the Gazan shore.
“Militants, like Hassumi and Fatzih, attacking Israel from Gaza, are not safe, do not have immunity, and will not be free to plan, plot and operate,” IDF Spokesman Lt.-Col. Peter Lerner said on Friday.
“We will continue to strike the instigators and agitators with patience, determination and precision. Gaza rocket terrorism does not pay,” he said.
Defense Minister Moshe (Bogie) Ya’alon said in Friday that the IDF would foil “rocket fire on Israel or attempted attacks on our civilians or troops. We will hunt down those who carry out or plan [these attacks], like we did today.”
While it is unclear if either of the two were, in fact, directly backed by ISIS, the IDF said the two were behind volleys of rockets fired into Israel over the last two weeks, and belonged to the “Salah e-Din Brigades” of the Popular Front.
Meanwhile, Hamas, which controls the strip, “categorically denied Egyptian security claims that ISIS terrorists infiltrated Sinai through Gaza tunnels,” according to the al-Kassam website.
On Saturday, Iyad Bazam, a spokesman for the terror group, called the claims, “blatant lies,” and said they were “part of the ongoing Egyptian smear campaign against the Gaza Strip.”
On Saturday night, six rockets fired from Gaza struck Israel, with two hitting a populated building.
“Over the course of the weekend 12 rockets hit Israel and over the past two weeks 25 rockets hit Israel. Approximately 50 rockets were launched at Israel over the past two weeks,” the IDF said in a statement.
“In response to the rocket attacks that hit Israel earlier this evening and in order to prevent further attacks on Israeli civilians, an IAF aircraft targeted three terror activity sites and three concealed rocket launchers in the southern Gaza Strip, a weapon manufacturing site in the northern Gaza Strip and a terror activity site and weapon manufacturing site in the central Gaza Strip,” the statement read.

The EU creates a legal framework for Europe-wide deployment of police and military units . At the same time, the EU Commission is working intensively on the creation of a single EU police unit as well as an EU public prosecutor (more here ).“On Tuesday, the representatives of the EU Member States in the Council adopted a decision on the so-called ‘solidarity clause’. Were a disaster or a loosely defined crisis to occur, the organs of the European Union would be obliged to assist using all the instruments at their disposal. This includes military resources”, warned Member of the Bundestag Andrej Hunko.
The use of the “European Gendarmerie Force” (EUROGENDFOR) is made possible by the “solidarity clause” as Heise reported. At the unit, headquartered in Vicenza, Italy, all EU Member States are involved, the Gendarmerien, so police forces with military status are used. One of the founding countries of the EUROGENDFOR include Portugal, Spain, Italy, France and the Netherlands. We provide our services to the police unit of the EU, NATO or the UN.
“The ‘solidarity clause’ is redundant, since the EU already has mechanisms for mutual assistance in case of disasters. Secondly, the clause amplifies the course to a militarization of domestic politics, since upon request military can be used in another Member State.
The proposal on ‘arrangements for the implementation by the Union of the Solidarity Clause’ was jointly presented by the Commission and the EU High Representative in 2012. A country can invoke the “solidarity clause” if a crisis “overwhelms its response capacities”. Mention is made of operational, policy and financial instruments and structures.
Andrej Hunko continued:
“The adoption at the General Affairs Council took place in secret: the point was not mentioned on the agenda of the meeting. The press was not informed. Yet this is one of the most controversial clauses contained in the EU treaties. That is precisely the reason why agreement on the details of the solidarity clause was postponed to a later point at the time of the signature of the Lisbon Treaty.
The ‘solidarity clause’ boosts the role of the two intelligence-service-style EU situation centres. But it also creates the legal framework for deployment of the special police units of the ‘ATLAS network’ being developed by the Commission. From Germany, the GSG 9 is involved; last year this Federal Police Special Forces unit was able to head a large-scale ATLAS exercise encompassing several countries for the first time.
The ‘solidarity clause’ is superfluous, since the EU already has mechanisms for mutual assistance in disaster situations. At the same time, however, the clause strengthens the course towards militarisation of home-affairs policy, since military personnel can be sent to another Member State on request. I am concerned that this is about the home-affairs version of the Article 5 clause on mutual defence: it would apply in situations which ‘may have an adverse impact on people, the environment or property’. Even politically motivated blockades in the areas of energy and transport and general strikes are covered.
The text explicitly refers to crises which originate outside the territory of the Member States. The Left Party parliamentary group rejects this blurring of the lines between internal and external security. Instead of militarisation of home-affairs policy through the deployment of military forces inside other Member States, we need reinforcement of the civilian mechanisms of solidarity within the EU.”

Granted, the Democrat Party, the party that “booed” God loudly three times at their 2012 convention, probably have a huge problem with the “So help me God” closing, but, nevertheless, they promise to follow the U.S. Constitution.
The beginning body of the U.S. Constitution, Article, I, Section 1, states that “ALL” legislative powers are obtained by the Congress of the United State, not Barack Obama. In one clear, easy to understand sentence, the longest serving Constitution in world history states:
“All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
However, Democrats, so desperate to import more undocumented Democrats, overcome with political greed, are ignoring the Constitution their swore to uphold, calling on their Messiah, Barack Obama, to become America’s first dictator, pushing the Marxist community organizer to issue laws where there are none, change laws where there are existing ones, and to not enforce laws that don’t promote the Democrat Party’s communist agenda.
Take immigration. We do have immigration laws, correct?
Congressional Democrats are violating their oath of office and are urging Obama to break existing immigration laws, encouraging him even to make new immigration “laws” if Congress “fails to act.” Obama himself even promised to issue additional royal edicts to skirt the rule of law.

Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas), a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) who represents a border district, agreed that the issue demands more urgency from the president.
“He needs to be looking at it now,” Vela said Thursday, predicting no action in the House this year. “We have no Republican bills, whatsoever.”
Democrats are not speaking entirely with one voice on the issue, however. Many party leaders are backing Obama’s delay in the hope that Boehner will launch a last-minute effort to take up immigration legislation this year.
“I’m hopeful,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday, during a news briefing to mark the anniversary of the Senate passing its immigration reform bill. “I believe that the Speaker is of good faith on this.
“Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) agreed, arguing that Democrats “have always said that the deadline for getting a bill done feasibly is July 31.”
“Are the chances very small? Very small,” Schumer said Thursday. “But … hope springs eternal. Maybe Speaker Boehner would come to his senses.”
Other liberals are running out of patience with that strategy.
Rep. Rubén Hinojosa (D-Texas), the chairman of the CHC, has long been critical of Obama’s delayed action. Last month, he called on the president “to reconsider.” And this week, he said leading Hispanic lawmakers will amplify that message in a coming visit to the White House.
“I told him that we’d give him time, so we should be going to the White House soon,” Hinojosa said Wednesday.

“We had thought the ones who should lead the campaign against Iran is the United States,” said Moshe Ya’alon, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. “But at some stage the United States entered into negotiations with them, and unhappily, when it comes to negotiating at a Persian bazaar, the Iranians were better.”
“People know that Iran cheats,” Ya’alon said. “But comfortable Westerners prefer to put off confrontation. If possible, to next year, or the next president. But in the end, it will blow up.”
He claimed that the U.S. is “showing weakness” throughout the world and criticized the nuclear deal the West reached with Iran late last year. “Therefore, on this matter, we have to behave as though we have nobody to look out for us but ourselves.”
Ya’alon’s comments, according to Haaretz, “attest to a sea-change in his attitude regarding how Israel should contend with the Iranian nuclear program,” as under the previous government, Ya’alon led the opposition to a unilateral attack on Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also criticized the nuclear deal, saying that it was a victory for Iran, and says regularly that Israel retains the right to defend its interests. “[L]etting the worst terrorist regime on the planet get atomic bombs would endanger everyone, and it certainly would endanger Israel since Iran openly calls for our destruction,” Netanyahu said in a speech earlier this month. “As prime minister as Israel, I will do whatever I must do to defend the Jewish state of Israel.”
The AP reports “Ya’alon’s office confirmed his remarks but refused to comment whether he was advocating an Israeli strike on Iran. Netanyahu’s office also declined to comment.”
Israeli’s intelligence agencies, however, see the situation with Iran differently. Haaretz reported late last year that an Israeli military intelligence analysis concluded that there is a “deep strategic change” taking place in Iran with relative moderate Hassan Rouhani as president. While Netanyahu, Ya’alon and others Israeli government leaders have scoffed at Rouhani’s so-called “charm offensive” with the West, the analysis, according to Haaretz, “thinks otherwise.”
Moreover, the Israeli security establishment has been very wary of a unilateral Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear program, warning about the negative consequences. “If Israel will attack, there is no doubt in my mind that this will also provide [Iran] with the justification to go ahead and move quickly to nuclear weapons,” said former Mossad chief Meir Dagan in 2012. The Jerusalem Post reported last year that “[Former Israeli Defense Forces intelligence head Shlomo Gazit] said he agreed with [former Shin Bet chief Yuval] Diskin that an Israeli attack would not destroy the program, and could even accelerate it, while enabling Iran to legitimize its efforts diplomatically.”
Iran and the six world powers – the U.S., U.K, France, China, Russia and Germany – are meeting in Vienna this week to resume talks on a final nuclear deal. Diplomats said, according to Reuters, that the crisis between the West and Russia over Ukraine would not have any effect on the negotiations.
“I haven’t seen any negative effect,” said an E.U. spokesman. “We continue our work in a unified fashion.”

"This is all about the United States Constitution," Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., told "Fox News Sunday."
Goodlatte rejected Democratic criticism that the lawsuit announced by Boehner amounts to an election-year political stunt. He cited a presidential pattern of "not enforcing laws, or changing laws that have been passed, taking power from the Legislative Branch."
This, he said, runs afoul of Article 1 of the Constitution which grants legislative powers to Congress.
"We ... have the power to bring causes of action when we believe that the president of the United States is exceeding his authority and is trampling upon Article 1 of the Constitution," Goodlatte said. "To me, it makes a whole lot of sense to do this."
Boehner triggered a firestorm on Capitol Hill earlier this week after announcing he planned to proceed with such a lawsuit, challenging the president's use of executive actions. Republicans complain that Obama has taken a host of questionable actions on his own, including unilaterally changing provisions of ObamaCare, hiking the minimum wage for federal contractors, and loosening immigration and deportation policies.
On "Fox News Sunday," however, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Xavier Becerra, D-Calif., staunchly defended the president and argued that he has not crossed any constitutional or legal lines.
"The president simply said I'm going to do what I can within the confines of the law to make this work," Becerra said. "Absolutely, he's implementing the law ... he's not rewriting it."
Former White House counsel Kathy Ruemmler, on NBC's "Meet the Press," also claimed the suit was "just for show" and questioned whether the House would be able to show "injury" in order to even have the standing to sue.
"To say it's frivolous, I think, is an understatement," she said.
Obama, in light of the lawsuit threat, has vowed to continue to act on his own if congressional Republicans will not work with him. The president joked about the lawsuit during an address on Friday in Minneapolis.
"They're not doing anything, and then they're mad that I'm doing something. I'm not sure which of the things I've done they find most offensive, but they've decided they're going to sue me for doing my job," Obama said. "I mean, I might have said in the heat of the moment during one of these debates, 'I want to raise the minimum wage, so sue me when I do.' But I didn't think they were going to take it literally."
The president, though, has started to draw criticism from some liberal legal scholars and strategists outside of Congress -- including constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley -- who worry he has indeed exceeded his authority.
The Supreme Court on Thursday also rebuked the president, ruling unanimously that recess appointments he made to the National Labor Relations Board were invalid.
