WikiLeaks Documents about Nazis and Fascists in Ukraine & the Recption in Media

WikiLeaks Documents about Nazis and Fascists in Ukraine & the Recption in Media

Inaugural

  • Politicians, the media, and other stakeholders reverse the facts regarding fascists and Nazis topic in Ukraine and sweep the evidence under the carpet. In this case, these groups are not only just sincethe onset of the Maidan protests, but also since the beginnings of the Orange Revolution. This is according to the Ambassador cables and these show that the Nazis and Fascists in Ukraine have  long been a topic and are probably already at the time of the Orange Revolution. The Americans and NATO were well aware of the existence and were even then promoting these groups. This is evident from documents that are on the WikiLeaks revelations.

From Orange to Maidan

Background Story

Furthermore, one should also remember that many of WikiLeaks documents on the impact of the Orange Revolution in 2004, which took place in Kiev. This revolution was celebrated in the Western media, it has not traded here for a revolution that would be sold to us as Maijdan Revolution. Strangely, at that time could the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko against his opponent enforce Viktor Yanukovych and now it comes: Another confidential document on WikiLeaks from 2006, which went to all Western institutions, describes the nationalist aspirations in Ukraine. It is stated that in 2000 nationalists in Kiev organize a demonstration. Many of them worship the Ukrainian nationalist leaders and henchmen of the Nazis Stepan Bandera, located in Munich under a grave of honor (the Greens in Munich show on fascist monuments so dear to the "evil Trümmerfrauen out)
There is one question, which has inspired this investigation: During the Maidan Revolution we have read a lot of the fascist power. But not in the mainstream media. Only some alternative media have people warned about the fascists power. But such a power must have a source. An international source.

First Results and Investigations

Our first step was to search on WikiLeaks related cables about this topic. But the rough search has offered us a lot of stuff. See one of the first cables we found:

What a suprise: This groups were influenced by Western. The opposition and the Donbass Resistance use a word of this network: Western Junta.

Important Persons about Ukrainian Nationalism

Stepan Bandera

Everybody knows Hitler. But in the Ukrainian fascism plays an another person and very important role: Stepan Bandera  (January 1909 – 15 October 1959)  was an Ukrainian political  right-wing activist and leader of the Ukrainian nationalist movement in Western Ukraine which fought for Ukrainian independence. Historian David Marples summarizes the intermittently close relationship between Bandera, the OUN and Nazi Germany as "ambivalent", tactical and opportunistic, with both sides trying to exploit the other unsuccessfully. After the war, in 1959, in Munich Germany, Bandera was assassinated by Bogdan Staschinski, a Soviet KGB Agent.
Today Bandera continues to be a divisive figure in Ukraine. Although Bandera is venerated in certain parts of western Ukraine and 33% of Lviv's residents consider themselves to be followers of Bandera,in surveys of Ukraine as a whole he, along with Stalin and Gorbachev, is considered among the three historical figures who produce the most negative attitudes.

Right Sector in Kiev

Protests in Kiev continued on Wednesday as activists of the nationalist movements Right Sector, Automaidan and Freedom Party protested Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's decision to grant temporary autonomy to eastern Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Several explosives were detonated by protesters. On Tuesday, the rally turned violent after activists set tires on fire in front of the Ukrainian Parliament. MP Vitaly Zhuravsky was thrown into a garbage container during the rally.

Earlier this week President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed an Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, which is creating closer political and economical ties between Kiev and the bloc. The activists fear that the Lustration law could be neglected by Ukraine's government in the shadow of the ratification of the AA.

About Maidan

The scope of the protests expanded, with many calls for the resignation of President Viktor Yanukovych and his government. The protests ultimately led to the 2014 Ukrainian revolution. Many protesters joined because of the violent dispersal of protesters on 30 November and "a will to change life in Ukraine".By 25 January 2014, the protests had been fuelled by the perception of "widespread government corruption", "abuse of power", and "violation of human rights in Ukraine".

A Journalist has concerned about the upgrowing fascist in Ukraine in 2006
First conclusion: We could observe a relationship to the interim period between the two revolutions - Orange and Maidan - and the aspiring fascist forces.

Retrospection: Orange Revolution

The Orange was a series of protests and political events that took place in Ukraine from late November 2004 to January 2005, in the immediate aftermath of the run-off vote of the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election which was claimed to be marred by massive corruption, voter intimidation and direct electoral fraudKiev, the Ukrainian capital, was the focal point of the movement's campaign of civil resistance, with thousands of protesters demonstrating daily.Nationwide, the democratic revolution was highlighted by a series of acts of civil disobediencesit-ins, and general strikes organised by the opposition movement.
