Drug money bust reveals Hezbollah’s control

Drug money bust reveals Hezbollah’s control

February 3, 2014 The Australian Crime Commission has foiled an international narco-trafficking and money laundering scheme involving 18 organized groups and 40 separate money laundering operations.  “Project Eligo” has resulted in 105 arrests, 190 criminal charges, and over $500 million in assets seized so far.
Agence France Presse (hat tips to Willauer Prosky and El Grillo) has the highlights of the story:

Australian police crack global money-laundering racket

Sydney — Australian police revealed Thursday they had cracked a major global money-laundering ring with operatives in more than 20 countries and funds syphoned off to groups reported to include Hezbollah.
The Australian Crime Commission said more than Aus$580 million (US$512 million) of drugs and assets had been seized, including Aus$26 million in cash, in a year-long sting codenamed Eligo targeting the offshore laundering of funds generated by outlaw motorcycle gangs, people-smugglers and others.
According to the ACC, the operation had disrupted 18 serious and organised crime groups and singled out 128 individuals of interest in more than 20 countries, tapping information from agencies including the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
The full details of which countries had been involved were not revealed but acting ACC chief Paul Jevtovic said “the reality is that the Middle East and Southeast Asia have featured prominently”…
The Sydney Morning Herald noted that, “It is believed at least one of the ‘exchange houses’ used in the Australian laundering operation delivers a cut from every dollar it launders to Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, whose military wing has been proscribed in Australia as a terrorist group.”
Hezbollah believes that profiting from the drug trade is permissible under Islam because drugs mainly harm “infidel” nations of Europe and the Americas.
Financial crimes analyst Ken Rijock has some additional insight on the Hezbollah aspect of the story, pointing out that most reports have glossed over Hezbollah’s control and ability to extort money on each financial transaction being processed through Lebanese money services businesses (MSBs).  Although Hezbollah may have only received a portion of the Australian drug money involved, the revelation suggests that no Lebanese MSB is beyond the terrorist organization’s reach:
…The drug money was laundered by being distributed to legitimate recipients of foreign money transfers in Australia, in lieu of the actual funds, which were en route to them; the criminals would then divert the payments to themselves. Coming from legitimate MSB sources, they in effect converted their illegal narco-profits, into legal foreign remittances.
Australian authorities stated that Hezbollah was extorting money from the MSB that was diverting the legitimate payments. It demanded, and received, a portion of “every dollar that it laundered.” Think about that for a moment. Hezbollah, which has no part in the drug money laundering, inserts itself into the payment process, much like a taxing authority. The Taliban have this extortion thing down to a science; perhaps Hezbollah to a page out of their playbook.
First of all, we are obviously talking about MSBs in Lebanon;  Hezbollah has the power to coerce payments in any area where it has a military presence to enforce its demands; That means Beirut…
Rijock concludes that bank compliance officers and others involved in the remittance stream should, “regard all Lebanese MSBs as probable associates with that terrorist organization, as the level of risk with Lebanese MSBs should be regarded as extremely high.”

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria -- An official says suspected Islamist extremists killed at least 44 villagers in continuing attacks in an Islamic uprising in northeast Nigeria.
The official of the National Emergency Management Agency says the attackers hit Dumba village in Borno state before dawn Tuesday and slit their victims' throats -- a new strategy since gunfire attracts security forces.
He said the attackers gouged out the eyes of some victims who survived. The official spoke Saturday on condition of anonymity because he is not allowed to give information to reporters.
Dumba is near the fishing village of Baga where security forces in March gunned down 187 civilians in retaliation for an attack by extremists.
It is difficult to get information from the area under a state of emergency, with cellphone and Internet service cut.
Borno is one of three northeastern states under a state of emergency declared May 14 to crack down on the Boko Haram terrorist network.
Since 2010, more than 1,700 people have been killed in attacks by Islamic insurgents, according to an Associated Press count.

Hillary Clinton Is Backing Obama On Iran — Here's Why That's A Big Deal

Hillary Clinton
AP
Former Secretary of State (and 2016 Democratic frontrunner) Hillary Clinton is backing President Barack Obama on Iran, calling on Congress to not pass new sanctions while negotiations take their course.
Clinton's comments came in a three-page response to a request from Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), the chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, for her thoughts on the issue. They represent somewhat of a shift from a rather hawkish past on Iran during her time as a U.S. senator and as Secretary of State.
"Now that serious negotiations are finally under way, we should do everything we can to test whether they can advance a permanent solution," Clinton wrote in the letter to Levin, which was first obtained by Politico.
"As President Obama said, we must give diplomacy a chance to succeed, while keeping all options on the table. The U.S. intelligence community has assessed that imposing new unilateral sanctions now 'would undermine the prospects for a successful comprehensive nuclear agreement with Iran.' I share that view. It could rob us of the diplomatic high ground we worked so hard to reach, break the united international front we constructed, and in the long run, weaken pressure on Iran by opening the door for other countries to chart a different course."

Her comments come at a time when many Democratic senators are pushing for a new round of sanctions — including a strong push from her former Senate colleague in New York, Sen. Chuck Schumer. And on the campaign trail in 2008, Clinton was against the idea of negotiating with Iran.
Obama made clear in his State of the Union speech last week that he would veto any new sanctions legislation that reaches his desk while negotiations with Iran are ongoing.
Clinton wrote in the letter that she has "no illusions" about Iran, taking a similar tone to Obama's recent comments. He has said that he thinks the chances of reaching an agreeable, permanent deal on Iran's nuclear program are about 50-50.
In the letter, Clinton noted her own history as an Iran hawk.
"I come to the current debate as a longtime advocate for crippling sanctions against Iran," Clinton wrote.
"In my eight years in the Senate, I supported every Iran sanctions bill that came up for a vote and I spoke out frequently about the need to confront the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions, its support for terrorism, and its hostility toward Israel. As Secretary of State, I spent four years sharpening a choice for Iran’s leaders: address the international community’s legitimate concerns about their nuclear program or face ever-escalating pressure and isolation."

As of January, 59 senators had signed on to co-sponsor legislation that would impose sanctions in the event that Iran breaches the terms of the interim agreement reached last month in Geneva — or if world powers fail to come to a comprehensive agreement regarding Iran's nuclear energy program.

In a statement, Levin said that Clinton's letter served as "another strong signal to Congress that we should not take any legislative action at this time that would damage international unity or play into the hands of hard-liners in Iran who oppose negotiations."

The Ottoman Empire at its greatest extent, 1683.
Originally the secular, conquering dynasty was just entitled Sultan, soon it started accumulating titles assumed from subjected peoples.[16][17]
From 1908 onwards the Ottoman Sultan was considered the equivalent of a constitutional monarch without executive powers, with the Parliament consisting of chosen representatives.

Caliph under the Republic of Turkey (1922–1924)

The Office of the Caliphate was transferred to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey which dissolved the office on March 3, 1924, in keeping with the policies of secularism that were adopted in the early years of the Republic of Turkey. The current pretender to the Imperial House of Osman is Bayezid Osman.
After the dissolution of the Office of the Caliphate, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey founded the Presidency of Religious Affairs as the new highest Islamic religious authority in the country.

Sharifian Caliphate (1924)

Map with the kingdom in green and the current region in red.
A last attempt at restoring the caliphal office and style with ecumenical recognition was made by al-Husayn ibn `Ali al-Hashimi, King of Hejaz and Sharif of Mecca, who assumed both on 11 March 1924 and held them until 3 October 1924, when he passed the kingship to his son `Ali ibn al-Husayn al-Hashimi, who did not adopt the caliphal office and style.[18]

Watch Prince Charles Say What Obama Won't - Christians Are Being Targeted In Middle East

Remember when Obama promised the world “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”? While Christians continue to be persecuted in the Middle East, some wonder where Obama is.
They can keep wondering, but Britain’s Prince Charles is being courageous enough to speak out against the persecution Christians face in the Muslim world:
I have for some time now been deeply troubled by the growing difficulties faced by Christian communities in various parts of the Middle East.
It seems to me that we cannot ignore the fact that Christians in the Middle East are increasingly being deliberately targeted by fundamentalist Islamist militants.
Christianity was literally born in the Middle East and we must not forget our Middle Eastern brothers and sisters in Christ.
Thank God there’s at least one world leader willing to confront the injustice – we won’t hold our breath for Obama to do the same.

Ahmadi Nezhad's New Task: Presenting Mehdi To The World

Ahmadi Nezhad's New Task: Presenting Mehdi To The World

Published Friday, November 14, 2008

Khamenehí
The message Iranian President wrote to the American president-elect could not be sent without the approval and authorised by Ayatollah Khamenehí.
La Herradura (13 Nov.)      Content to have executed the wishes of his boss in sending a message of congratulation to the new American President-elect, Mr. Barack Obama, the fanatic Iranian President has set himself a new “mission”: presenting imam Mehdi, or the Shi’a Muslims messiah, to the world.

As we had said in a previous article, it has now been confirmed that the message the Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad sent to Mr. Obama last week over his historic victory in American presidential elections was “authorized and approved” by Ayatollah Ali Khameneh’i, the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to news sites close to the Government, the “great and beloved leader of the Revolution” has after, consultation, personally approved the message to Mr. Barack Obama and authorized the President to send it”.

It was the “great and beloved leader of the Revolution” who, after, consultation, personally approved the message to Mr. Barack Obama and authorized the President to send it”.
In other words, it is the ageing leader of the Iranian theocratic regime that has congratulated the young future leader of the United States, the first ever black American born to a Muslim African who enters the White House.

In regard of the fact that since its creation almost thirty years ago and the breaking of all relations with the United States, this is the first time that the Islamic Republic of Iran addresses such a friendly message to an American President-elect, Iranian analysts wondered if Ayatollah Khameneh’i does not consider the occasion as “fruit bearing” for his regime.
In fact, in a meeting last year with students in the centre-eastern city of Yazd, the centre of Iranian Zoroastrians, Mr. Khameneh’i had stated that “no one has said relations with America must remain cut forever”.

“Any time resuming relations with America is regarded as positive and in the interests of Iran, I would be the first to approve it”, he said, stressing however that having not relations with Washington is among “our political strategies”.

“Of course, I have never said that our relations with America must be cut forever, but for the moment, conditions of the American government are such that resuming ties are against Iranian interests and naturally, I do not consider it”, Mr. Khameneh’i pointed out.

Does the megalomaniac leader of Iran thinks that the prospect of a Black Afro-American ruling the world’s most powerful nation would also change the hostile climate that characterized Tehran-Washington relations for the last thirty years to the benefit of Iran?

Regardless of the fact that his initiative has triggered more criticism than approval by the clerical-dominated establishment, which generally considers the message as “hasty”, “unconsidered” and “ill advised”, Mr. Obama must realize the important significance of the decision, meaning that the man who has sent him the message is not Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad, but the leader, and therefore his reply must be addressed to the right man: Ayatollah Ali Khameneh’i, the man who in the Iranian system, takes all major domestic and foreign decisions.
Ahmadi Nezhad-7
In the present Iranian political system, the President has less power than a prime minister in France, the real president being the leader of the regime.

Anyway, neither man liked an article in published by a popular reformist weekly newspaper in which Mr. Mohammad Qouchani, a young and talented journalist asked “why is it that the Islamic Republic has not a Barack Obama?”.
Under a front page showing the future American President hugging tenderly one of his daughters, the journalist answered his questions, saying: “it is because the system does not allow such things to happen!”.
His remark caused the closure of Sharvand Emrouz (Today’s Citizen), accused of “confusing public opinion, endangering the security of the State and offending officials”.

Meantime, and while waiting for Mr. Obama taking the helms in Washington, Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad has called on Iranian experts in economy to “draw plans for solving the world’s financial and economic crisis based on Iranian indigenous methods” and urged Iranians to “present the Imam of the Rightfulness to the international public”.

In answer to the 60 economists and professors of economy at Iranian universities who had criticized his “ideologically-based” economic policies as having harmed the nation, Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad accused them of being too “westernized” and “afraid of promoting domestic ideas”.

“Some wants to envisage for Iran as economic theory anything that in America is presented as an economic method. But we are looking for national economic projects based on our intrinsic potentials responding to both domestic needs and also capable of exporting plans for solving international crisis”, he told an economic meeting in the north-eastern city of Mash-had.

His statement reminds us of a Persian proverb which says “a mouse could hardly get into its hole, he had attached a sweeper to its tail”. One wonder why Mr. Dominique Straus-Kahn, the French president of the International Monetary Fund or other world leaders who desperately are looking for solutions to the unprecedented international crisis do not call on Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad and get advice from the man who’s suicidal economic and foreign policies have taken his country to the edge of total disaster.
Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad has called on Iranian experts in economy to “draw plans for solving the world’s financial and economic crisis based on Iranian indigenous methods”

“The same world leaders whom when I warned them about the collapse of the rule of oppressors used to look at me in astonishment (as if he is mad), now they ask me how I knew such a situation is coming I told them I’m surprised that how you did not saw that all is falling down?”, he told the audience, speaking about his predictions concerning the world’s economic crisis.

According to Shi’a Muslims, Mehdi, their twelfth imam who went into hiding in a well in the city of Samarra, in Iraq, when he was eight year-old some 1.400 years ago, would reemerge when the world is saturated with sin, corruption and injustice. This is why Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad, in true believer in the powers and mission of imam Mehdi, has, with all members of his cabinet, pledged to him in writing to prepare his reappearance, due to take place from a well in Jamkaran, near the holy city of Qom, 150 kilometres south of the Capital and the cradle of militant Shi’ism.
His relationship with the Waiting imam is such that according to his close aides, when he went for the first time to New York to address the United Nations General Assembly three years ago, the hided messiah visited him while delivering his speech.

“My new duty, our new duty is to present the imam of rightfulness to the world, to the international community. We must try hard to make the international public opinion to know and to listen to the message of Mehdi”, Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad insisted. ENDS AHMADI’S NEW TASK 131108

Ahmadi Nezhad's New Task: Presenting Mehdi To The World Barack Hussein Obama The Anti Christ

Iran's president believes Allah has chosen him to prepare the world for the coming of an Islamic 'savior' called the Mahdi. Iran's president believes the islamic 'saviour' mahdi is barack hussein obama!

Iran presents the anti christ obama the mehdi to the world

Presenting Mehdi To The World, the ANTI CHRIST Barack Hussein Obama!

His relationship with the Waiting imam is such that according to his close aides, when he went for the first time to New York to address the United Nations General Assembly three years ago, the hided messiah visited him while delivering his speech. Does anyone know where Obama was on that day?

The information that I want you to see is Ahmadi Nezhad speaks for the Muslims of Iran. He says Obama is the mehdi or their twelfth imam. The mehdi or 12 imam is the ANTI CHRIST OF THE BIBLE. Iran is telling us Obama is the anti christ.

Here is a qutoe from Ahmadi Nezhad: “My new duty, our new duty is to present the imam of rightfulness to the world, to the international community. We must try hard to make the international public opinion to know and to listen to the message of Mehdi”, Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad insisted.

Mehdi is the anti christ and ahmadi nezhad is telling us to listen to Obama and change international public opinion.

What Should We Make of Mahmoud Ahmadinezhad’s “Letter to the Noble Americans”

On November 29, 2006 the dubiously-elected President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinezhad, had published in his name an epistle to the people of the United States. Herewith is an analysis of, and commentary upon, this letter1 (with relevant quotations of Ahmadinezhad’s reproduced):

Right after opening with the bismillah, invoking Allah the Merciful and Compassionate, Ahmadinezhad prays that God will “bestow upon humanity the perfect human being promised…and make us among his followers.” This perfect human being is none other than the Awaited Mahdi, usually called the Twelfth Imam in Iranian Shi`ism. The Mahdi is “the rightly-guided one” who will, according to both Sunni and Shi`i traditions, come before the end of time to create a just global caliphate. (The major difference is that for Shi`is he has already been here, and will return from hiding; for Sunnis he has yet to emerge into history: a comeback v. a coming out, if you will.) Ahmadinezhad uttered the same prayer twice, back in his September, 2006 address before the U.N. General Assembly.

.....................................................................................
.....................................................................................
A dispute that has marked duodecimo (Twelver) Shi'ism for over 1,000 years.

The duodecimo Shi'ites believe that Allah created the world for the family of Muhammad and bestowed all power on 12 descendants of his favorite daughter Fatimah. The last of the 12, one Muhammad bin Hassan, known as the Mahdi (The Guide), disappeared in 940 AD, ushering in a period of "ghaybat al-kubra" (Long Absence) during which no government anywhere in the world has legitimacy. The return of the Hidden Imam, the Mahdi, will mark the end of the world as we know it and the start of a new and perfect one.

The theological division among Shi'ites concerns a simple question: What should believers do while the Imam is absent? One doctrine, known as Intizar (waiting) maintains that the best that believers can do is to be patient and wait until the Imam decides to return. Followers of that doctrine are known as Muntazeris (Those Who Wait).

That doctrine is opposed by another known as Ta'ajil (To hasten). Its adepts believe that believers should act to hasten the coming of the Mahdi. The Ta'ajilis (Hasteners) insist that believers should seek to unite the entire Islamic ummah and lead it into battle against the "Infidel," with the view of provoking a final showdown for global domination in the hope that, when the crunch comes, the Hidden Imam will return to ensure the victory of the Only Truth.

Throughout history, the overwhelming majority of Shi'ites in Iran have subscribed to the doctrine of Patient Waiting. The new elite, however, is decidedly seduced by the doctrine of Hastening the Return. President Ahmadinejad openly claims that the aim of his government's actions is to hasten the coming of the Mahdi.

The Hasteners have put together a powerful coalition backed by large segments of the military and security services. This includes the Fedayeen (self-sacrificers) of Islam, the Coalition of Islamic Associations, the Hezbollah (Party of Allah) and the United Front of the Followers of the Imam.

“My new duty, our new duty is to present the imam of rightfulness to the world, to the international community. We must try hard to make the international public opinion to know and to listen to the message of Mehdi”, Mr. Ahmadi Nezhad insisted. I have repeated what this crazed devil said in Nov 2008. He believes Obama is the mehdi or their twelfth iman. The mehdi or twelfth iman is the anti christ of the bible. So is their any doubt who Obama really is now? The Shi'ites muslims in Iran think Obama is their saviour mehdi. Ahmadi Nezhad has been quoted as proclaiming this. If Iran thinks Obama is the anti christ do you still think he is just a guy with no birth certificate? Who do you think the "daddy" is now!

Walid Shoebat, former Palestinian Terrorist Interview

My suggestion is to take notes as Mr Shoebat explains the threat that is all around us. It is the hidden threat that an angel of light is operating on a local and national stage. The threat is real. Become aware of this threat. Most Americans are not aware of this threat because of its hidden nature. It is as the host said a cancer growing in America.
