Kyrstin Lavelle, 10, got a
personalized autograph not many get on Tuesday. While at Marine Corps
Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, she snagged the John Hancock of the president.

But the president didn’t just give her a signature when she asked for one, he also gave her an inspirational message.
“To Kyrstin– Dream big dreams!” it said:

Kyrstin also gave the president a flower, which he said he would pass on to first lady Michelle Obama.
