(Reuters) - Susan Rice, U.S. national security adviser, said data
expansion of Israeli settlements is responsible for some of the recent
tensions between Israel and the Palestinians, with the faltering peace
talks mediated by the United States between the parties.
Rice said in a speech to the Center for Studies in Washington, said the United States remains committed to the peace process in the Middle East but made clear that it considers the construction plans in the settlements Israely Off to these efforts.
