Alex Jones Family Member Dies of Flu; Other Family Members ill

Jones

Peter Hammond, a cousin of Alex Jones and “a very sweet person” has died of the “mystery illness” that is sweeping across the southern part of the United States. According to Jones, Peter Hammond’s father, William Hammond is his mother’s brother and his Uncle,  is also stricken with the illness and is in serious condition.
Jones discussed this on a Youtube of his broadcast on dated December 18th. The comments begin around the 20 minute market
According to Jones, the family is in Tyler, Texas.
William fell ill and didn’t want to go to the hospital after his son died, but eventually went because he was struggling to breath. According to Jones, he is a Vietnam War veteran and in good physical shape.  After being tested for flu and the tests coming back negative, the family speculated that it might be chem trails. On the Jones video, the comment comes at 33:38 mark. However, a shorter version is on-line at the time of this writing.
According to Jones, his children and wife also have the flu. He has had swabs done on other family members and they have tested negative for the flu. He says they have been sick for weeks with a low-grade fever and a cough. In addition, he says his parents also have flu-like symptoms.
He asked for prayer for his family.
Jones can’t understand why there is a media blackout. He says that they have one SARS case or two people in a remote region of China die of the flu and it is all over the news. Yet in this event, healthy people are contracting the illness, even people who have had their flu shots. Half of those who have contracted the illness have died.  In Montgomery County, four of the eight people known to have the illness have died.  In the Greater Houston area, 6 have died and 14 are in critical condition.
He is also annoyed that the media keeps pushing the vaccine. Some of the people who have succumbed to the illness had the flu vaccine. While the CDC says storage of the vaccine might make it less effective, the truth is that the flu vaccine is only 60% effective.
Euless, Texas, about 120 miles from Tyler, there have been cases of swine flu, type A, and type B. A thirty year old man died of the illness leaving behind a wife and son.
According to the CDC, four states – Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi – reported high levels of influenza-like illness during the week ending Dec. 7, and there were earlier reports of bird flu over Thanksgiving.
