An 1890 book advocating British Israelism. According to the doctrine, the Lost Ten tribes of Israel found their way to Western Europe and Britain, becoming ancestors of the British and related peoples.

British Israelism (also called Anglo-Israelism) is a doctrine based on the hypothesis that people of Western European descent, particularly those in Great Britain, are the direct lineal descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. The doctrine often includes the tenet that the British Royal Family is directly descended from the line of King David.
The central tenets of British Israelism have been refuted by evidence from modern genetic, linguistic, archaeological and philological research. The doctrine continues, however, to have a significant number of adherents.

Brooks-Baker, publishing director of Burke’s, wrote Probably realizing the connection would be a surprise to many, he added, ”It is little known by the British people that the blood of Muhammad flows in the veins of the queen. However, all Islamic religious leaders are proud of this fact.”

Brooks-Baker said the British royal family is descended from Muhammad through the Arab kings of Seville, who once ruled Spain. By marriage, their blood passed to the European kings of Portugal and Castille, and through them to England’s 15th century King Edward IV. ‘

A reader alerted me to his wacky tale from the Daily Mail.

Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic ‘spiritual principles’ in order to save the environment. [I am curious to know what those principles are and why they would be superior to true Christian theology of our stewardship of creation.]
In a high-profile speech, the heir to the throne [future head of the Church of England?] argued that man’s destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions – but particularly that of the Islamic faith. [How?]
He said the current ‘division’ between Man and Nature had been caused [get this...] not just by industrialisation, technological development and the relentless pursuit of economic growth, but also by our attitude to our relationship with Nature – which goes against the grain of  ‘sacred traditions’.  [Christians track this back to sin... Original Sin in particular.]
Charles, who is a practising Christian, spoke in depth about his own study of the Qu’ran which, he said, tells its followers that there is ‘no separation between Man and Nature’  and says we must always live within Nature’s mean and limits.  [What I sense is at work here is that somewhere along the line he swallowed the error that man is not part of "nature".  He is therefore impressed by a religious assertion that man is in fact part of nature.   This is not new to well-informed Christians, of course.  Catholics especially grasp this.]
‘From what I know of the Qu’ran, again and again it describes the natural world as the handiwork of a unitary benevolent power,’ he said.  [Imagine such an idea!  God created nature!]
‘It very explicitly describes Nature as possessing an “intelligibility” [didn't Augustine have something to say about that?] and that there is no separation between Man and Nature, precisely because there is no separation between the natural world and God. [Oppps!  God entirely transcends the natural world, which entirely depends on God for its existence.] 
‘It offers a completely integrated view of the Universe where religion and science, mind and matter are all part of one living, conscious whole. [I am reminded of a high schooler who has discovered an interesting new idea.]
‘This suggests to me that Nature is a knowing partner, [Sounds like pantheism.... a reflection of a modernist.] never a mindless slave to humanity, and we are Her tenants; God’s guests for all too short a time.’
The prince was speaking to an audience of scholars at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, which attempts to encourage a better understanding of the culture and civilisation of the religion, of which he is patron.
When he accepted the role back in 1993 Charles gave a landmark speech about the need for better understanding between Islam and the West, which still has resonance today.
Yesterday the theme for his lecture, to mark the centre’s 25th anniversary, merged religion with his other favourite subject – the environment.
The hour-long speech saw Charles once again berate Man for the damage he is doing to the planet, saying: ‘Many of Nature’s vital, life-support systems are now struggling to cope under the strain of global industrialization. [He should perhaps save a few comments for British Petroleum.]

Ho hum.  You can read the rest of the stuff over there, if you care about this ramblings. We probably need a more clearly articulate ecological theology, something in small booklets with simple explanations.

This is the spot from which MUHAMMAD supposedly ascended for a night-long journey to heaven in AD 621, accompanied by the angel Gabriel. There he supposedly met many prophets like Abraham and Moses and was given the Islamic prayers before returning to Earth.

Although at first Christians themselves were not put to death, Gibbon informs us that during the ten years of the administration of the second Caliph, Omar (634-644 A.D.), four thousand churches or temples were destroyed (prayer and preaching were therefore the sacrifices taken away) and everything possible was done to humiliate Christians. For example, as signs of their degradation, they were made to wear "a turban or girdle of less honourable color; instead of horses or mules, they were condemned to ride on asses in the attitude of women. Their public and private buildings were measured by a diminutive standard; in the streets or in the baths it was their duty to give way or bow down before the meanest of people. Thus Moslems "trampled on" Christians. Moslems "cast down the truth to the ground" (8:12).

Although Moslems say they worship the same God as Christians, the Koran declares that they are infidels who say that God is Christ, the son of Mary. Jesus, it says, is no other than a servant who was favored with a gift of prophecy. Although the Moslem creed declares a belief in one God, it makes Mohammed his prophet, thus placing Mohammed next after God, and superior to Jesus Christ. In this way the little horn "magnified itself even to the Prince of the host" (8:11), namely the Lord Jesus Christ. Mohammed "magnified himself" by putting himself above Moses or Christ.

Fasten your seat belt. You're in for a wild ride. Biblical prophecy scholar and author, Dr. Joye Pugh believes that her research has uncovered the true identity of the Antichrist. His arrival, she claims, is the result of a millenia-long plan put into action by nefarious forces around the globe. As a child, Dr. Joye  had a "troubling" apocalyptic dream which planted the seed for her future research. Researching her dream is what inspired the books she has written including "Eden: The Knowledge of Good and Evil 666" and " ANTICHRIST - The Cloned Image of Jesus Christ." Her books are based on historical facts and scientific analysis. Joye writes about her take on what really happened in the Garden of Eden and how it set the stage for a humanity-long conspiracy spearheaded by Satan. She explains how the true tale of the Garden of Eden is much different from the "apple" and "snake" storybook version that many have been told in Sunday school. She believes that Eve bore a son, Cain, with the serpent of Eden, which produced a lineage of Satanic hybrids. THE SHROUD OF TURIN The Shroud of Turin, says Joye, is a legitimate artifact from Jesus' crucifixion and has been used, by modern science, for nefarious purposes.  The Shroud is real, says Joye. Carbon dating of this artifact may have been a conspiracy to conceal its legitimacy. Evidence found in the Book of Revelation suggests that the Antichrist is a demonic clone. Clones do not have a soul which makes them the perfect vehicle for demonic influence. Joye's research unearths a myriad of clues suggesting that  Princess Diana was used by the Royal Family as a "sacrificial lamb" to usher in the Antichrist - Prince William. She believes the Shroud of Turin will eventually be proven legitimate and Prince William's DNA will match Christ's DNA taken from the shroud. When it is revealed that Prince William shares the same DNA as Christ (cloned), the public will embrace him as the Messiah. Dr. Joye ties this event in with a staged "alien threat" which, she believes, will frighten the public into trusting Prince (King) William as their leader and protector. Her theory ties in with 2012, the London Olympics, secret excavations in Iraq, ley lines, and HAARP. Dr. Joye tells people what they should be looking for, in the future, as proof that Prince William is the Antichrist. If Prince William is the Antichrist, does that mean he has no empathy for the death of his mother? Dr. Joye answers that question by speculating on the timing of when Satan will take possession of the prince- some time after the death of his mother. If Dr. Joye Pugh's research and predictions are accurate, that would make her a dangerous threat to the Antichrist's plan...so why would she be allowed to publicize it? Because the occult forces know that the majority of the public consider her thesis, at best, to be entertainment nonsense.
