COMMIE ISLAMIC FAGGOT DEVIL WAR SHIPPER TO TAKE OUR GUNS

Obama orders bigger government and less liberty for gun control

On 16 January, President Obama signed 23 executive orders dealing with gun control. This action was taken, he said, because of the tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary.
This administration, in the words of his former White House Chief of Staff, Rohm Emanual, never lets "a crisis go to waste."
Gun control, or more accurately "disarmament" has been on the president's agenda all along. The Fast and Furious scandal started as a program to garner public support for more restrictions on private firearms. In the Fast and Furious program, the Department of Justice, under Attorney General Eric Holder, over 2500 assault rifles were deliberately funneled into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels.
These weapons were sent into Mexico with the expectation that they would come back across the American border. That way, the Left could point out how many illegal guns were coming from America into Mexico and then used in crimes. Fast and Furious was to create a situation where the president could then start putting restrictions on guns.

That program didn't work out as planned when Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was murdered by a Mexican drug cartel with its Obama provided weapon. During the investigation, Obama declared "executive privilege" to spare Eric Holder from prosecution. Executive Priviledge is only used when top cabinet members and/or the president himself has knowledge of or participated in the issue in question.
So, the president, by using Executive privilege, de facto admitted to his administration's role in Fast and Furious. Those same weapons have been blamed in hundreds of murders in Mexico.
Then comes the movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado in July and the school shooting at the Sandy Hook elementary in Newtown, Connecticut. Those tragic events were all he needed to push for the shredding of the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution and the eventual disarmament of the American people.
Without going into each one, like signing an order to order himself to publish a memo, we can look at the most troubling of these. The overall theme is the construction of Federal databases on American citizens, to include their health records and gun ownership.
These databases will be collected, at the threat of fines or legal action, and stored by Federal agencies without the knowledge or consent of the people. They will then be available for undetermined future use.
In a country of about 310 million people, there were two - 2 - that perpetrated the shootings in Colorado and Connecticut. So the rest of us, the 309,999,999 other citizens and the millions of law-abiding and safe gun owners are giving up our freedoms and liberties because of two evil crackpots.
These executive orders also open the door for who knows how many future regulations limiting our privacy and freedom.
Below are some examples, and remember, these are not "laws" these were put in place at the stroke of a pen by one man without consent of the people or of Congress to be enforced by agencies of the Executive Branch.
By the way, there is no provision in the Constitution empowering the president to amend, alter, define, nullify or modify any part of the Constitution by Executive Order, especially not an amendment in the Bill of Rights, where we are guaranteed our right to bear arms.
The executive orders signed by the president are as follows:
1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.
2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
  • "making information available to the background check system" will become a Federal regulation requiring states to provide this information, enforced by Health and Human Services- and you'll pay for it.
3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.
More In Guns
4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.
  • It won't be "the ability to run a background check" it will be mandatory. And, if law enforcement is returning a seized gun, the citizen probably didn't commit a crime. So, why are they running a background check? Note, the order didn't specify handguns or assault rifles, it could be your grandfather's shotgun.
6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.
  • Again, it will be regulations specifying how, not just guidance, with bigger government, more bureaucrats to monitor and more coercive punishments for non-compliance.
7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.
8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).
  • Mandatory Federal regulations will be issued specifying how you must store your gun in your own home or face fines or other legal action.
9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.
10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.
11. Nominate an ATF director.
12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.
  • So, before this, law enforcement was encouraging gun violence and not prosecuting gun crimes?
14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.
  • Gun violence is a disease?
15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.
  • I can see this rule being used to funnel stimulus tax dollars to "innovative" companies that by pure coincidence are owned by big Obama donors.
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
  • This will be, and may already be, mandatory. And, that information will go into some Federal database so they will be able to produce maps with names, addresses of gun owners and what types of weapons they own and how they are stored. That will be pretty useful information for anyone wanting to seize the weapons.
17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.
  • Will be mandatory regulations.
18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.
19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.
20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.
  • And the states will pay for. Don't worry, those costs wil be passed onto you.
21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.
22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.
23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.
The president's gun control plan isn't about guns, its about control. If he were truly concerned about gun violence why hasn't he spoken out about the more than 500 people shot dead in his hometown of Chicago last year? 500 people murdered by guns in his hometown in one year, many of them children and teens, and not one word from President Obama.
Because he needed the tragedy so this administration could swoop in to save the day with more government regulations, more rules, fines, mandates and penalties inflicted on the American people with complete disregard for the Constitution he swore to uphold.
