GOP Says They've Found Benghazi 'Smoking Gun'

Republicans say they've found the "smoking gun" that proves the Obama administration tried to hide the truth about the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, died in the attack.
Three days after the incident, White House communications adviser Ben Rhodes wrote the top goal should be to "underscore these protests are rooted in an Internet video and not a broader failure of policy."
Former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice repeated that talking point on several talk shows, saying the assault was a protest that got out of control, not a pre-planned assault.
U.S. State Department and security officials who worked in Libya have testified that the administration missed or ignored warning signals in the months leading up to the attack.
A lawsuit by Judicial Watch forced the administration to release the new email and other documents surrounding Benghazi.
Sen. Lindsay Graham, R-S.C., said the email shows the White House was trying to create a political narrative that didn't fit the facts.
But White House spokesman Jay Carney denied the email had anything to do with the Benghazi attack.
"It was about the overall situation in the region, the Muslim world, where you saw protests outside of embassy facilities across the region, including in Cairo, Sana'a, Khartoum, and Tunis," Carney said.
