Why unpresidential ‘O-Blah-ma gets no respect

Outstanding unpresidential behaviour of Obama on his latest European trip includes his sophomoric playing ‘nuclear war games’ with celebrity groupie British Prime Minister David Cameron.
It was less than presidential when German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who said the game was “inappropriate” at a high level meeting, was overridden by Obama in The Hague.
It should surprise no one that Obama helped plan the ‘nuclear war game’ during a meeting intended to deal with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
Obama’s wars are based largely on rhetoric and words: “Russia is a regional power that is threatening some of its immediate neighbors not out of strength but out of weakness. They do not pose the number one national security threat to the United States,” Obama said. “I continue to be much more concerned when it comes to our security of the prospect of a nuclear weapon going off in Manhattan.” (Washington Post, March 25, 2014)
Everyone knows of the shameless ‘selfie’ of Obama and Cameron with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt taken during the December 10, 2013 Nelson Mandela Memorial.
Daily Mail photos from yesterday show Obama, with fellow ogleteers Cameron and French President Francois Hollande ogling Queen Maxima of Holland.
Is it because Obama’s not presidential that his Secret Service protectors partied with Cartagena prostitutes in 2012? Ditto for the two agents removed from Obama’s security detail amid allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct in 2013.
What about the Secret Agents who allegedly got drunk in the Netherlands three days before the boss arrived?
“Three Secret Service agents responsible for protecting President Obama in Amsterdam this week were sent home and put on administrative leave Sunday after going out for a night of drinking, according to three people familiar with the incident. One of the agents was found drunk and passed out in a hotel hallway, the people said. (Washington Post, March 25, 2014)
“The hotel staff alerted the U.S. Embassy in the Netherlands after finding the unconscious agent Sunday morning, a day before Obama arrived in the country, according to two of the people. The embassy then alerted Secret Service managers on the presidential trip, which included the agency’s director, Julia Pierson.
Seems that the unpresidential president is not just driving people who work for him to drink.
“Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan confirmed Tuesday evening that the agency “did send three employees home for disciplinary reasons” and that they were put on administrative leave pending an investigation. Donovan declined to comment further. (Washington Post)
“According to two people familiar with the Amsterdam incident, the three are members of the Secret Service’s Counter Assault Team, known in the agency as CAT.If Obama wants to be presidential, he should immediately stop dissing America when making speeches abroad (Egypt, Turkey, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, England, Latin America, et al).
“The alleged behavior would violate Secret Service rules adopted in the wake of a damaging scandal in Cartagena, Colombia, in April 2012, when a dozen agents and officers had been drinking heavily and had brought prostitutes back to their hotel rooms before the president’s arrival for an economic summit.
“In the Cartagena scandal, the Secret Service employees’ actions were discovered when one prostitute got into a noisy dispute with agents in a hotel hallway about an agent’s refusal to pay her fee. Colombian police reported the incident to the U.S. Embassy there.
“Obama said at the time that the agents’ behavior was unacceptable. “We’re representing the people of the United States, and when we travel to another country I expect us to observe the highest standards, because we’re not just representing ourselves,” he said in Cartagena.
“The revelations in Cartagena led to the removal of 10 agents from their jobs, multiple federal and congressional investigations, and the rules aimed at preventing similar activity in the future. Mark Sullivan, the Secret Service director at the time, apologized for his employees’ conduct. Sullivan retired in February 2013 after 30 years in the agency.”
Along with dropping his own self-designed Apology Tour, he should stop his wife from over indulging in taxpayer-funded junkets. While he’s at it, Obama should correct what Michelle Obama told Chi-coms yesterday when she talked about “how America allowed discrimination against black people like me and my husband”.
“I wonder also if Michelle Obama even knows that every single one of these laws that discriminated against blacks like her and her husband were written, enacted, and enforced by Democrats?” radio giant Rush Limbaugh asked on yesterday’s show.
Obama should lay off the golf, hoop shooting and vacations; roll up his sleeves, quit being lazy and get to work in the White House to provide what America needs most: “jobs, jobs, jobs!”
This unpresidential president should remember that at least half of America does not want to be layabout poets or to goose-step along with his Marxist march.
Meanwhile while he’s still out there attached with his Teleprompter rudely being ‘O-Blah-ma’, Barack will never be respected as a presidential president.
