S.T.O.P. Resolution

Article II, Section 3 of the United States Constitution entitled, “Presidential Responsibilities”, states that the President “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed." However, President Obama has chosen to ignore some of the laws written by Congress.  Because of this disregard of our country’s checks and balances, many of you have asked me to bring legal action against the President.  After carefully researching the standing the House of Representatives has and what action we can take, I have introduced a resolution to stop the President’s clear overreach.

This resolution allows the House of Representatives to bring legal action against the Executive Branch and challenge actions, inactions, and policies such as: the “administrative fix” in response to Americans who lost their healthcare plans due to Obamacare, the one-year delay in Obamacare’s employer mandate, the Department of Homeland Security’s policy to grant temporary status to illegal immigrants who entered the United States as children, and the inaction to uphold the welfare work requirement.
I hope this resolution comes up for a vote in the House of Representatives because South Carolinians and Americans are fed up with President Obama’s disregard of our nation’s laws.  So far, more than 30 members have cosponosred this bill but we need your help. Call other House Reprenstatives and ask them to cosponsor the STOP Resolution and show your support for by becoming a citizen cosponsor TODAY.  Email stop.resolution@mail.house.gov.
