Leaked memo shows the Obama Admin knew of Healthcare.gov glitches before Oct. 1 rollout

The Associated Press obtained an internal government document that shows Obama Administration officials were in fact concerned about potential issues with the Healthcare.gov website dating back to September 27 – three days ahead of the rollout.

“I’m going to give you a government document that has just been released by the Associated Press on universal healthcare that is staggering and shows you how little they care about you and how incompetent the government is,” Glenn said on radio this morning. “[This is also] why John McCain was pressuring so hard, why the White House was pushing so hard… to destroy Mike Lee and Ted Cruz.”
The memo suggests members of the Administration were concerned the lack of testing could pose “a high security risk” for both the President and the website.
According to the Associated Press:

The September 27th memo to Medicare chief Marilyn Tavenner said the website contractor was not able to test all the security controls in one complete version of the system.

The memo recommended setting up a security team to address the risks, conduct daily tests and a full security test within two to three months of going live.

“Okay. So first of all, there is your scapegoat,” Glenn said. “The reason why this is a leaked letter from the government is because Marilyn Tavenner, the Medicare chief, is going to be the one that is thrown under the bus.”

When you consider the memo was dated September 27, three days before the rollout of Obamacare and three days before the official start of the government shutdown, the rhetoric that was used by the media and by the left during the shutdown takes on a new meaning.
“This memo… was dated September 27th… You could not have a memo like this coming out [then] because Ted Cruz immediately could have said, ‘The administration themselves are saying that it is a danger to the people’s security’ and that would have changed the whole ball game,” Glenn explained. “So you had to have the John McCains, and the Lindsey Grahams, and the John Boehners of the world torpedo them, end it, shut it down, stop it. They had to do it quickly because this was coming out.”
“So the White House knew before Ted Cruz was even standing up and saying, ‘Just give it a year.’ The people internally were saying, ‘That’s a good idea. That’s a good idea. That’s a really good idea. We could use two to three months,’” he continued. “[But] you couldn’t let that go on. You had to discredit Ted Cruz and Mike Lee… [because] it was never the intention to actually do things right. It’s been about collapsing the system, and the system has to collapse around the world at the same time. This is their way of doing it.”
Despite that rather pessimistic evaluation of the situation, Glenn ended his analysis on a more optimistic note.
“But don’t worry. They think they’re building a system that will collapse into their hands. I believe God is building a system that will collapse it into free man’s hands,” Glenn concluded. “You are not the same person that you were five years ago and neither is the country – good and bad. Does it collapse into their system or your system of freedom?”

  Once I was hired to debug a troubled installation textile sales system which several different programmers had coded. The warehouse receiving coder determined that 1 dz pillow cases = 1.   This is where we take the information Mr. Beck has shared with us, and we bitch, moan and complain to each other. We are great at throwing our two cents in on comment sections such as this, or the variety of other blogs, and comment sections available. Or taking it to the social media of our choosing, to “harumph” with all our friends and relatives.
  After a few days, we get back into the swing of things, we don’t talk about it unless some one brings it up. However, by then we have “harumphed” it enough, that we have the words of our arguments perfected, and because we have rehearsed it so many times, the delivery is flawless. Hell, some of us even start to appear learned.
  But, then as time continues we let it blow by, until the next “incident,” and then it starts all over again.
  It is no news flash to anyone with half a brain, even an Arky like myself, that the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, a.k.a, Barry Soetoro, is a liar, a thief, a coward, and a whole slew of other names, on a growing list. However, the problem we have here in the United States, is a heck of a lot bigger than Obama. It is also not just a liberal, Democrat problem either.
  Where as every day that Obama is in office, is another step towards a liberal and Democratic nirvana, the problem is a bipartisan problem. It is a Republican problem.
  In the last 6 years Obama has been in office, he has accrued a long list of impeachable offences. Depending on who’s list you read, some where around 250+.
  In this 250, how many have actually been pursued?
  I don’t know of any..
  Why is that? I understand, that my home in Arkansas is along ways off from Washington, but from everything I have ever read, the legal right for this man to even run for the office, has never been adequately investigated, and settled eliminating reasonable doubt.
  Taking that in to consideration, if the man isn’t even legally qualified for the office, how in the heck can we be surprised if we find out he has been doing the other things he has added so many other adjectives to his name? Most people can’t even get hired onto a job, without providing more information than this man has, and he was applying for presidency.
  And just where in tarnation are the Republicans? It appears that on the GOP side, all we have is a bunch of show. When something happens, there are many of them that like to stand, and beat on their chests, making a big noise, trying to convince us, they care. However, as I mentioned, it’s been six years, and again, nothing has been pursued. Why is that?
  It would appear, that the Republicans are playing a game very similar to the Democrats, a game of show, and that’s it. In fact, I find their game more repulsive than that of the Dem’s.
  The GOP play the harumph game, wrapping themselves in Ol Glory, tears in their eyes, hands over their hearts, standing for “truth, justice and the American way.”
  When in truth, they are just making a lot of noise. Pawing at the dirt, kicking up dust, they make noise until the next scandal is reported, or releasing their own.
  Treating us like gold fish, thinking that the American tax payer can not remember the last scandal, or the one before it, if you can just draw their attention to something else.
  So, they stay in office another day, week, months, years, and nothing gets done, and our country slide into a deeper hole. They stay in office, accomplishing what ever it is they are supposed to do, for whoever has them pimped out, is sliding them cash, investing in their campaign, or what ever you want to call it.
  I read a comment yesterday, a lady was commenting on something Obama had done. What ever it was, she said that she hoped the constitution stopped what he was attempting to do.
  I don’t think she realized that unless you have men and women that are going to enforce, and protect the Constitution, it becomes the worthless, antiquated document that some say it is.
  We have way to many people that have taken an oath to serve and protect this document that have no idea what it is about. To them, it was part of a cerimony, and nothing more.
  It’s time to get those bastards out of there. It’s time to get rid of Republican or Democrat, and back to American.
  It’s time for the people to take our country back.

  It occurred to me today as I’ve read various articles, that most of those that have signed up have enrolled into the Medicare and Medicaid systems (mostly free right?) paid by taxpayers, not the (UN-) ACA as they had attempted to claim. Those more likely to sign up in the exchanges are people who already had ins. but have been forced off of plans they liked. So, Medicare and Medicaid which is in fact nationalized healthcare that has been in existence for some 60 yrs, and has been headed for insolvency, has now been greatly expanded. So now they expect some 2 million people to be kicked off of ins. and most will be forced to purchase ins. in a Gov. exchange, paying some 3 times what they were originally paying. My guess is that they plan to use much of that money for Medicare and Medicaid. Redistribution from mostly the middle class to the poor. Let’s face it the rich will and can pay for what they want, so the burden and it is a burden, falls again to the middle class. Think about it. By design, the steps of the single payer becoming more obvious. Just a thought.

  First of all, most elderly have worked and contributed to society and to Social Security and Medicare for most of their lives. Now Obama is stealing $500 Billion from Medicare to pay for Obamacare to cover illegal aliens and all who do not work or buy insurance. At age 70 no treatments are guaranteed and we have to answer to a death panel every few years as to what our final plans are.   Beat them at their own game just don’t go their. Do not sign up. Do not give them your personal info. I ask you, why should you pay 6+ thousand dollars a year for an 8 thousand dollar deductible policy that you can not afford? That’s 14 thousand dollars that will be out of pocket before you get 1 dime from the insurance company each year. Instead pay cash for your Dr. visits until you have a catastrophic condition develop then get insurance. That way you are only out a deductible & a few months payments. The penalty is small each year so that will be much cheaper still unless you are very rich, but then you could afford it!. I can’t see any young to middle age person on average going to the Dr. 8 thousand dollars worth every year unless they are extremely unhealthy. Even if you are a sickly person that much payments & deductible is a lot of Dr. each year. Think about it!

  Just got a letter from my individual insurance plan stating my insurance will go from $365/mo to $622/mo on Jan 1 due to Obamacare. How is that even possible, let alone acceptable? I can’ afford that and it is making me bitter towards those who freeload the system which I have to help pay for.   First off, yes, those who WORK or have SAVED will now be paying for those who cannot or refuse to work and who don’t know what saving is.
  Second, Medicaid may be free (not familiar enough with that program to say), but Medicare is not free; folks on Medicare pay a monthly fee for the basic program (think it’s deducted automatically from their Social Security payments); then because Medicare doesn’t cover everything, they usually have to buy a “supplemental” policy which costs another monthy fee; and then, if they want prescription drug coverage, they have to buy another insurance coverage for another monthly fee. So when you hear people bad-mouthing Medicare as a “freebie” or “entitlement,” it’s not really correct. Working people paid into these systems their entire working lives, and then when they attain the age to receive the Medicare benefits, they continue to pay–whether they use the services or not.

  has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama’s biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power.
  LEGALIZE ILLEGAL IMIGRANTS:
  Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.
  STIMULIOUS AND BAILOUTS:
  Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions — including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.
  RAISE TAXES ON SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, HIGH-INCOME EARNERS,
  AND JOB CREATORS:
  Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama).
  MAKE PUERTO RICO A STATE:
  Why? Who’s asking for a 51st state? Who’s asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers.   It depends on how much you make on your S.S. and they take out a certain amount each month to pay for your insurance. Mine is really high. Then with obammycare, our prescriptions on medicare went up. I don’t even hardly have prescriptions, but yet mine has gone to about $40.00 per month. I take more vitamins then prescriptions. I have a friend that might take 28 prescriptions per day, depending on her health and may take less. I am alergic to a lot of medications. At least I won’t be a dopey. I have worked 8-16 days and they are long days. Then I have worked a full-time and a part time, that makes for a long day. So I pain into my S.S. and medicare. I thought that I could travel some more when I retired, but that wasn’t the case. I have been paying into this system since I was 15 yrs old.
