If I setup a blog and add a donation button do I pay tax?

I am interested in setting up a blog (based in the UK) to help pay for my motorcycle license and bike and I was wondering where I stand with regards to tax. If I write my blog and accept donations from people who like my blog, would I have to pay tax on the money? They get nothing in return for sending me a donation.

You would be taxed where I live for any income. I would be safe and assume you would be taxed in UK as well. Anyone donating would get the satisfaction of helping you out with your motorcycle quest, so they do get something in return.
