All children safe after Gatineau police launch major operation around daycare
Police in Gatineau, Que., have launched a major operation around a
daycare facility, with ambulance workers carrying someone on a
stretcher, according to local news reports.
Police have said on their Twitter feed that all of the children are safe and have been moved to a different location. Local news reports suggest that neighbours heard signs of violence on Friday morning, and the area around the facility has been cordoned off by police.
The daycare facility is located across the street from a hospital in Gatineau.
