In a speech heavy with meaningless platitudes and even a
moment where an American president spent time explaining “real” Islam,
Barack Obama’s prime-time address to the nation on the ISIS threat and
his administration’s plan to combat it, fell far short on details, and
managed to veer off into yet more divisive politics at a time when the
Commander in Chief should be representing ALL Americans, but instead
chose to speak only to those he feels support his far left agenda – the
very agenda that created the ISIS mess in the first place.
If the speech could have been given from his golf cart, the president most certainly would have done so.
As it was, he returned to the White House and had staff fire up the teleprompter in an attempt to sound both tough and decisive.
The speech was neither.
Colonel Ralph Peters outlined what many in the country felt while listening to the former community organizer give a lecture on Islam and how America is tired of war, but still willing to fight one, sort of kinda, (though the president refuses to call it that), only if we can get some help, and ISIS promises to play nice from now on, and that none of this is really HIS problem and will be left for the next president to take of. And remember, Barack Obama campaigned on ending the war in Iraq, but under his watch, he is starting another war – IN IRAQ.
And here is President Obama attempting to lecture everyone on what Islam really is:
Anyone really think the president hasn’t read the Koran? (He was required to as a young student growing up in a Muslim school in Indonesia)
Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
Quran (9:30) – “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them
Bukhari (52:177) – Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.”
The Prophet… was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, “They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans).” In this command, Muhammad establishes that it is permissible to kill non-combatants in the process of killing a perceived enemy. This provides justification for the many Islamic terror bombings.
What version of Islam was Barack Obama referring to? The Koran has over 100 verses devoted to waging war against the “nonbelievers.”
ISIS represents those 100-plus verses. Sadly, due to the so few “moderate” Muslims speaking out against ISIS, it would appear then that ISIS is in fact Islam, and no amount of lecturing from an increasingly unpopular and seemingly disengaged president will change that fact.
As bad as his words on ISIS were, it was the president’s attempt to portray the current American economy as robust and strong, and jobs to be plentiful. WHAT???? More and more have left the job market altogether, food stamp use is at an all time high, companies are leaving the country due to high taxes, our military is being gutted, and a near record number of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
Barack Obama is not merely tone deaf, he is as Colonel Ralph Peters put it, a walking, (barely) talking example of idiotic nonsense…
