CDC Director Tom Frieden: Ebola Spread to U.S. is “Inevitable”

cdcOn Thursday CDC Director Tom Frieden testified before a House Subcommittee and gave the opinion that Ebola’s spread to the U.S. is “inevitable.”
Mike Adams reports:
The spread of Ebola to the USA is “inevitable,” said the head of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday. Tom Frieden made the statement in a House Subcommittee hearing, adding that he does not think there will be a “large Ebola outbreak” in the U.S. Does he think there will be small ones?

Ken Isaacs, vice president of program and government relations at the Christian aid group Samaritan’s Purse warned “the world is woefully ill-equipped to handle the spread of Ebola,” reports Yahoo News. (1)

“It is clear that the disease is uncontained and it is out of control in West Africa,” he told the hearing. “The international response to the disease has been a failure.”

“If you read the Ministry of Health status reports coming out every day from Liberia, I don’t mean to be dramatic, but it has an atmosphere of ‘Apocalypse Now’ in it,” said Isaacs, as reported by Breitbart.com. (5)

The spread of Ebola to the U.S. will likely happen due to international air travel, CDC head Frieden warned. Today’s Ebola outbreak is the largest ever recorded in history. Is the CDC perhaps preparing America for an announcement that Ebola is now being found in U.S. patients?

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued its highest alert activation over the Ebola outbreak,” reports CBS News. (4) “CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden announced on Twitter Wednesday that their operations center has moved to a Level 1 response.”

The CDC actually warned us months ago that the next plane could bring a pandemic, but that warning came back in January when they were talking about Avian flu.
What’s even scarier is the fact that the Chinese have been unable to contain the novel H7N9 strain of the virus and health officials the world over are getting ready for the worst. It’s spreading and we now have confirmation that the virus has begun appearing in other countries.
On Thursday, billions of Chinese will be on the move to celebrate the Lunar New Year, creating ripe conditions for the spread of the influenza virus from those already infected. And many of those celebrations will include chickens, the primary carriers of H7N9. In addition, with the Winter Olympics, one of the world’s largest sporting events, just two weeks away, the virus could find the ideal conditions for breaking out.
And that means the next plane could bring a pandemic to the U.S. or anywhere else around the world. “The bottom line is the health security of the U.S. is only as strong as the health security of every country around the world,” says Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
Does it seem like the CDC and Dr. Frieden might have been planning for an airplane to bring a pandemic to America for awhile? Or are they simply as paranoid as this author who might question the sincerity? We haven’t heard much about Avian Flu lately, but we do have a sexier and more trendy virus that is sweeping the headlines. It’s called Ebola and the CDC says its arrival is inevitable.
Last week the CDC revealed a map of 20 major cities that are to be used as Ebola Quarantine Stations. The CDC has also recently started to backtrack on the previous statements that Ebola is not airborne. Now they are warning of “infectious material through the air.”
Please take the warnings and findings of the CDC seriously, and prepare to take COMMON SENSE precautions, but realize that this is a government agency and there could definitely be an agenda in play.
Always question.
