South Korea Tested 25 Short Range Rockets

missles
Seoul, South Korea – It may be that Americans and our allies across Europe and Asia are witnessing the void caused by the President Obama’s lack of leadership. Russia is moving to expand its borders with the impending annexation of Crimea and a potential invasion of the Ukraine. China is flexing its muscle against Japan over disputed territories and now North Korea joins in. It has been confirmed that North Korea test fired short-range missiles to display their displeasure of joint war games between the United States and South Korea. In all, North Korea launched 25 missiles all of which dropped into the ocean.
North Korea takes offense at the war games claiming they are preemptive in nature for a planned invasion. South Korea & the United States say the war games are aimed to prepare South Korea against aggression from the North which makes them purely defensive. The war games are conducted annually. In a region of the world where saving face is paramount, North Korea feels obligated to pitch these fits to remind their neighbors that they matter. The value of the 25 missiles launched is not known, but North Korea suffers from extreme poverty and lack of basic services and electricity. It is sad commentary that the needs of their people are sacrificed for vapid displays of military might.
