As the chances for the Wednesday storm seems to be diminishing, this next storm system has been very consistent and is showing up on multiple models! This storm system is a prolonged event and is expected to start off by giving California some much needed heavy rain. It then begins to strengthen over the Oklahoma/Texas panhandle where it then takes off from there.
Much of the Eastern United States is under the gun for this storm system. I would not be surprised if there is a huge swath of 10″+ of snow and a decent ice event or Ice storm (>.50″) of ice. This could be the storm to remember but we will continue to watch it!
