ATF Revokes Firearms License Of Shop That Sold Guns Used In Newtown Shooting

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has yanked the licenses of the gun store that sold the weapons that were used in the Newtown shootings.
Raw Story reported that the permit of Riverview Gun Sales, located in East Windsor, was pulled in December for a period of review. But the 60-day appeal timeframe has come to an end, and the shop has lost its license.
ATF agents declined to cite the exact reason for pulling the license, Raw Story reported. But the decision is clear.
“It’s final at this point,” ATF spokesperson Deb Seifert said, in the Raw Story report.
The shop, owned by David LaGuercia, was to blame for selling both weapons used in the Newtown shooting — and the weapons used in the 2010 shooting at Hartford Distributors Inc. that killed nine, Raw Story reported.
The Newtown shootings left 26 dead, including 20 children.
