2004: state official pleads guilty to providing fraudulent birth certificates to illegal aliens

This is a WorldNetDaily story, but for some reason their page won't load. So, let's turn to the 2004 press release from the Department of Justice (usdoj.gov/usao/nj/press/files/ande1028_r.htm):

The former deputy registrar of the Hudson County (New Jersey) Office of Vital Statistics pleaded guilty today to conspiring to illegally transfer Hudson County birth certificates...
...An individual who paid Anderson and her co-conspirators for the service of creating the false birth records could then go to Office of Vital Statistics to receive a birth certificate.
As part of the investigation, federal agents executed a search warrant of the HCOVS on Feb. 18, 2004, which resulted in the seizure of hundreds of suspect Certificates of Live Birth which falsely indicated that the named individuals were born in Jersey City, when in fact, they were born outside the United States and were in the United States illegally.

Now, certainly, that doesn't in any way indicate that anyone in Hawaii was involved in something similar to that Obama or his relatives were. However, it does underscore the necessity of seeing not just his entire file but the history of his file in order to clear this matter up.
