UNREAL: Obama is Going on Lavish, Half-Month Vacation in August

For a man who talks endlessly about income inequality and class warfare, portraying himself as a champion of the poor and working class, President Obama sure likes to take lavish and luxurious vacations fit for the 1%.
The Obamas go on vacation a lot, at least 3-4 times per year, always sparing no expense, and always at the taxpayer’s expense.  Just the travel costs alone of their numerous vacations has totaled over $44 million thus far during Obama’s time in office.
Keep in mind that Obama is rather wealthy, having made millions of dollars off of his book deals.  It is for this reason, among others, that Rep. Trey Gowdy has called for the House to defund Obama’s vacation budget.  If he wants to go on expensive vacations, he can pay for it himself, like everybody else has to do.

Yet another Obama vacation is coming up, this time a two-week vacation in Martha’s Vineyard during the month of August. (H/T White House Dossier)

The Obamas will depart Washington on Saturday, August 9th and head for Martha’s Vineyard, staying in a $12 million vacation home until Sunday, August 24th, reports the Martha’s Vineyard Times.
The seven-bedroom, nine-bath, 8,100-square-foot house, sits on a 10-acre lot and is assessed at more than $12 million. It features 17 rooms in total, expansive water views of Vineyard Sound, an infinity pool and hot tub, and a dual tennis-basketball court.

It should be remembered that Obama took a 16 day vacation in Hawaii back around Christmas, not to mention the month-long, $100,000,000 family vacation to Africa a couple of years ago.
It must be nice to take multiple, long vacations every year.  Most people these days can rarely afford to take a long weekend off, much less go on a lavish two week vacation.
Obama is out of touch with the American people, and has checked out of his job as leader of America and the free world.  With the Middle East on fire, Russia encroaching on Europe, China making moves in the Pacific, a border crisis at home, and a still stagnant economy, now is not the time for our President to go on vacation for two weeks.
Unless of course he plans on filling the 17 rooms of the $12 million mansion he’ll be staying in with some of the illegal immigrant children that have come across our border, this just doesn’t look good.
