Trey Gowdy to Obama: Stop Trying to “Outmaneuver” the Constitution and Do Your JOB

To anyone who has followed the circus otherwise known as the Benghazi hearings, not to be outdone by the even bigger circus of the I.R.S. hearings, then you know that multiple accounts of extremely disturbing evidence has come forward, yet the White House and the Democrats insist on obstructing justice at every level. They know if they do not run constant interference, Obama will eventually be found guilty as hell for the crimes he’s committed. From what I can gather, it looks like he’s guilty of selling arms to terrorists (aka treason), and that line of inquiry in my estimate is ultimately what will end his presidency. That presumes one of the other scandals does not beat the Benghazi Committee to a conviction.  
 
We know Obama ordered the targeting of conservative Tea Party groups to about the same extent everyone knows OJ killed Nicole. Every time it looks like we’ve found the glove that fits Obama, it turns out to be another isotonerner either too big or too small, so Obama slithers away unscathed. Personally, I am pretty sure his luck is running out. The most recent example of the Obama slither was with the Lois Lerner emails that vanished. Find me an American willing to admit publicly they think that was an accident. PA-LEASE.
 
Obama has been such an abysmal failure in ALL of his endeavors as President, its no wonder he’s taken short cuts, and those short cuts have resulted in mistakes. Normally those mistakes come in the form of one or several laws being broken, and some additional cost to you the taxpayer. That’s just with regard to Obama’s incompetence. Trey brings up the issue of Obama using the Constitution as a punchline, because it seems like almost daily Obama twists the meaning of the document into some perversion of its original intent to devise a new un-American idea. Trey was right. The only way to REALLY deal with Obama is to IMPEACH him, and get him out of office.

If there is one force in Congress that makes President Obama’s knees knock together in terror it’s likely to be Rep. Trey Gowdy.
Gowdy has a reputation for straight-talk, never sugar coating the truth, and relentlessly pursuing the facts when investigating cases of government corruption, a task that keeps him quite busy these days.
The South Carolina congressman recently released a statement sharing his thoughts on the unanimous Supreme Court decision that labeled President Obama’s recess appointments as unconstitutional.
As has come to be expected from the passionate speaker, he nails the president to the wall for attempting to redefine the plain language of the Constitution, stating that since Obama taught constitutional law, he ought to know better.
The scathing rebuke also defined the president’s prime responsibility as making sure that the Constitution is followed, not “outmaneuvered.”

Congressman Trey Gowdy commented on the Supreme Court’s unanimous 9-0 decision to strike down Obama’s “recess” appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) when the Senate was actually in session. Congressman Gowdy says that it’s Obama’s job to follow the Constitution, not outmaneuver it for political expediency.
Gowdy said that Obama doesn’t get to change the definition of the word “recess,” just to fit his political whims, and that Obama should know better, since he claims to be a constitutional expert.

Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) released this statement regarding the Supreme Court’s decision striking down the President’s NLRB “recess” appointments as unconstitutional:
“These ‘recess’ appointments were void ab initio.  Even a cursory understanding of the Constitution dictates the conclusion that the definition of ‘recess’ does not change depending upon which political party is in power, which is why the Supreme Court ruled 9-0.”
“For the President, who once taught constitutional law, to force the Supreme Court to do what the plain language of the Constitution makes clear is not leadership.  In the process, he has left the NLRB in a state of legal flux and compromised litigants, employees, and employers. “
“The Constitution is not a tool to be wielded for political expediency.  It is the supreme law of the land and the President’s responsibility is to take care that it is followed, not outmaneuvered.”
Trey Gowdy knocked this one out of the park. The role of the president is to ensure that the Constitution is followed, the laws of the land are enforced, and the country is safe from threats. He has no right or authority to bypass Congress or redefine the Constitution to suit his agenda.
Unfortunately, it appears that despite all of the resistance from both conservatives and liberals regarding his abuse of power, Obama still wants to “go it alone” and try forcing his agenda through without the consent of Congress, and as a result, the American people.
It’s time for this shenanigans to be brought to an end, and it appears the only way for that to happen is impeachment.
