OBAMA ASHAMED OF AMERICA DUE TO GUN VIOLENCE!
Let’s start this off by saying that America is ashamed of Obama for…pretty much everything so the feeling is mutual. There’s an Associated Press story that virtually everyone is running about how Obama is trying to shame us into accepting more restrictions on our already too restricted right to keep and bear arms. Even for Obama it is sickening.
President Obama said Tuesday the nation should do “some soul-searching”: over its epidemic of deadly gun violence and “should be ashamed” it has been unable to address it.
I did some soul searching (Google actually)
and it turns out that this epidemic of gun violence is a creation of the
media that latches on to certain stories to promote an anti-gun agenda.
Violent crime is actually declining and has been since the early 1990’s. This includes “gun violence,” murder and assault.
“We’re the only developed country on Earth where this happens,” Obama said during a question-and-answer session on the social media website Tumblr.
Didn’t Canada just have a mass shooting last
week where 3 police officers were killed? Doesn’t China suffer mass
killings on a regular basis? Gun-free zones like England and Australia
have a higher violent crime rate than the US. Much of the developed
world suffers high murder per capita rates than we do. What a complete
liar.
“And it happens now once a week,” Obama added. “And it’s a one-day story. There’s no place else like this.”
We’re about 23 weeks into 2014. Have we had
23 mass shootings this year? Also, what media sources does Obama
consult? The ones I follow have a tendency to not let go of any shooting
story. They don’t disappear; they are drilled into our consciousness.
His “biggest frustration” as president, Obama said, has been that “this society has not been willing to take some basic steps” to keep guns away from people who “can do just unbelievable damage.”
Really? With all of the terrible things Obama
has done as president and not passing some minor gun control
legislation is his biggest frustration. No wonder he does things like
trade 5 Taliban fighters for a deserter. His priorities are completely
out of whack.
