Sarah Palin Says Letterman’s Retirement Should Start a Trend in DC

Sarah Palin has been brutalized over the years by a biased media, but she takes it in stride and dishes it right back at the media.
Sarah was correct in 2008 when she predicted that Russia would invade Ukraine, and she is correct when she calls President Obama “the lamest of lame ducks“.
She has even hinted that she might throw her hat in the presidential ring to face off against Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Now, she is taking a well-deserved shot at David Letterman, who has taken plenty of cheap shots at her and her family.  She was asked for her thoughts on Letterman’s announced retirement by Sean Hannity, to which she responded:
Well it’s cool. You know, out with the old and in with the new. Maybe he’ll start a trend when we talk about politics, too. Politicians, you know, that maybe have been in DC a little bit too long – allow some new blood in there, some new energy, some new ideas to get the country back on the right track.

We agree with Sarah and hope that she is right.  Washington DC definitely needs to shed the old guard, and get rid of some of the establishment guys staking out career positions.  There is a dire need for new, young blood with fresh ideas and tactics to counter the entrenched progressives on both sides implementing their agenda.
