Decimated’ al-Qaeda Growing and On the March

ISLAM SUCKS AND SO DO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE OBAMA

Despite Barack Obama assuring the United States and the world that the al-Qaeda terrorist organization has “been decimated,” London’s Financial Times (FT) is reporting on Jan. 20, 2014 that the terrorist organization is not only alive and kicking, but growing at an amazing rate.
From the African coast of the Atlantic Ocean to the Himalayan Mountains of Central Asia, al-Qaeda has been described by the FT as proliferating in more countries than ever.
The current US Administration is sticking to its guns, preferring to nuance who and what exactly qualifies as al-Qaeda, delineating between “core al-Qaeda” and “al-Qaeda affiliates.”
Both tactically and strategically, there is no difference between the two qualifiers in light of both core and affiliates adhere to the tenets of global Islamic Jihad by violent means.

As noted by the FT, al-Qaeda is a force to be reckoned with in the following nations:
  • Mauritania
  • Algeria
  • Mali
  • Burkina Faso
  • Nigeria
  • Niger
  • Libya
  • Kenya
  • Somalia
  • Yemen
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Iraq
  • Syria
  • Afghanistan
  • Pakistan
Various other sources ranging from The Economist to the New York Times have also cited both “direct” and “indirect” affiliates in the following nations:
  • Morocco
  • Egypt
  • Uganda
  • The Sudan
  • South Sudan
  • Tanzania
  • Lebanon
  • Russia
  • Uzbekistan
  • Turkmenistan
  • Bangladesh
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • The Philippines
  • The Maldives
  • India
Militarily and historically speaking, the Western equivalent to “direct and indirect affiliates” could be best described as the relationship between the Britain-based Polish Free Army as well as the French Resistance to the Allied powers during the Second World War.
