Glenn Beck: Someone Finally Admitted Out Loud Why the Left Is Terrified of Ted Cruz

Far from dismissing or ridiculing him, Glenn Beck believes liberals are actually terrified of Ted Cruz, and Beck was the first to pounce as soon as someone said out loud the exact reason why. And who was the pundit who gave away the game? None other than the fast-talking Chris Matthews.
Beck first took a swipe at the “indoctrinated” and “1984 zombie-like” masses at MSNBC before saying, “If you want to know why the left is so terrified of Ted Cruz, listen.” He played audio of Matthews unloading on Cruz, likening him to Joe McCarthy and Michele Bachmann in that infamous Hardball moment.
Beck and his co-hosts were confused by Matthews attacking Cruz in that vein, but it was all made clear as soon as Matthews said that Cruz is “the greatest challenges to progressives, to moderates, and reasonable conservatives in modern memory.” Beck was positively giddy at someone finally admitting it, saying he’s going to send Cruz a banner reading “biggest threat to progressivism.”
Beck concluded, “That’s why they’re taking him down, because he is the greatest threat to progressives in modern history. That’s fantastic.”
