Congressional source: Washington will freeze the delivery of military regimes and monetary assistance to Egypt

A source in the U.S. Congress that Washington would freeze military delivery systems and cash assistance to Egypt pending progress toward democracy.
The source told "Reuters" The United States will stop the transfer of $ 260 million in cash and loan guarantees planned $ 300 million to Egypt. Added that his country would freeze the delivery of a large military systems are also compelling.
He pointed out that America says it will prevent the delivery of tanks and F-16s and Apache helicopters to Egypt.
He explained that "the delivery of cash assistance and large military regimes of Egypt depends on the credible progress towards an all-inclusive government, democratically elected."
However, he noted that the United States will continue to provide assistance to Egypt to fight terrorism and border security and the security of the Sinai and the non-proliferation of weapons.
The White House said earlier Wednesday that he will announce the future of U.S. aid to Egypt after take diplomatic steps and legislative measures.
