Report: Muslim Brotherhood and Al Jazeera work to cover-up Jizya reports

The Egyptian newspaper Youm7 is reporting that the Muslim Brotherhood is partnering with Al Jazeera to produce false reports that demands for the jizya tax and other actions against Christians are not occurring in Christian villages. According to their story:

The Muslim Brotherhood is passing by the homes of the Copts in the village, accompanied by Al Jazeera photographers, forcing them to record interviews with them saying that they are safe in the village, and that what was published by the ‘pro-government media’ [about jizya collection] is not true.

We have reported several times on the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist groups forcing non-Muslims such as Christians to pay the Jiza or otherwise agree to dhimmitude in areas that they control. Most recently, we reported on professional kidnapping squads known as “Jizya vigilantes” who target wealthy Christians for kidnapping. The terrorists justify their actions as a collection of the Jizya. In case you weren’t aware, jizya is the practice of allowing non-Muslims to continue living in return for paying a “tax.” Its somewhat similar to the “protection” offered by mafia groups, gangs, and government officials in certain cities except that the threat of death on non-payment is more overt.
