The above link offers 9 free HDD scrubbing software.
Anyone familiar with them?
Have a better one to offer?

These can be scrubbed eigther in place or as a storage drive.

Thank you for your recommendations.

I can also do this with w7 from what I understand.
Just need to completely erase the drives at a friends request.
I don't want to destroy the drives being they will become mine.
