Dalia Mogahed
Dalia Mogahed is a senior analyst and executive director of the
Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, as well as director of the Muslim-West
Facts Initiative, a Gallup collaboration with the Coexist Foundation.
She is also affiliated with Women in International Security, the Project
on U.S. Engagement with the Global Muslim Community, and the Crisis in
the Middle East Task Force of the Brookings Institution. Her
publications include Who Speaks for Islam?: What a Billion Muslims Really Think (2008), with John L. Esposito, and numerous articles in the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, the Harvard International Review, Middle East Policy,
and others. Mogahed earned a MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate
School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and has an
undergraduate degree in chemical engineering; she previously worked in
marketing for Proctor & Gamble.
