Boehner Just Got What He Needed To Make Obama’s Life Miserable

A proposal announced earlier this month by House Speaker John Boehner received overwhelming Republican support Wednesday in a vote that authorizes Congress to file a lawsuit against Barack Obama.

Although not a single Democrat voted for the resolution, it passed by vote of 225 to 201. As NBC News reported, the legislation does not require the support of the Democrat-controlled Senate. That fact did not stop Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from weighing in on the development via Twitter.

Rather than acting to improve America, House Republicans are pursuing a meritless lawsuit at a cost of millions of dollars to taxpayers.

Prior to the House vote, Obama called the initiative a “political stunt.”
Before presenting the measure for a vote, Boehner explained that his motivation is not based on partisanship.

“This isn’t about Republicans and Democrats,” he said, “it’s about defending the Constitution that we swore an oath to uphold.”

Boehner, who has publicly rejected calls for impeachment proceeding from many within his own party, has indicated that he believes this suit is the appropriate legislative step toward holding Obama accountable for unconstitutional use of executive power.
Rep. Paul Ryan, who does not feel Obama’s actions have risen to the impeachment threshold, has been a vocal supporter of Boehner’s plan. Even some who might otherwise favor impeachment have expressed concern that the Democrat Party would seize on any such proposal as a way to rally financial support ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
Nevertheless, some Democrats in the House continue to assert that the suit might be a step in that direction.
“’Impeachment is off the table,’” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi stated prior to Wednesday’s vote. “Why hasn’t the speaker said that? Why are there those in your caucus who won’t deny that that is a possible end in sight for this ill-fated legislation?”
Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz released a statement defending his vote and the overall intent of the lawsuit.

“I feel a keen responsibility to preserve and maintain the balance of power laid out in the Constitution,” he asserted. “Ultimately, if successful, this action will restrain excesses by future presidents of both parties and restore the checks and balances that were so carefully constructed by this nation’s Founding Fathers.”

Kenneth Copeland Honors Bishop Tony Palmer

At 6:50 a.m., July 20, 2014, my dear and long-time friend, Bishop Tony Palmer, departed this earth and went home to be with Jesus, our LORD and Savior.
While he was on earth, his and Emi’s ministry and anointing became a bridge between Catholics and Protestants in the Body of Christ. Tony had a major impact on the worldwide Catholic Renewal. In that role, while ministering and teaching The WORD of faith in Argentina, he met and became very close friends with Cardinal Bergoglio. Their friendship grew stronger and stronger, until they were more than friends. They became spiritual father and son in The LORD. Cardinal Bergoglio went on to become Pope Francis.
In January of this year, Tony brought a personal video greeting from Pope Francis to all of us during our annual Ministers’ Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. There, Tony was being THE BRIDGE. It was a marvelous and very anointed moment in all our lives.
Tony then returned to Rome with a video (both videos on his cell phone) from us to the pope. Pope Francis responded with a personal invitation to me and seven others: James and Betty Robison, Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffe, Dr. Brian Stiller, Thomas Schirrmacher and John and Carol Arnott. We all, hosted by Tony, had one of the most anointed and wonderful experiences of our lives. THE BRIDGE WAS BUILT, and we stood on it together in the glorious presence of a very pleased LORD and Savior. His powerful and heaven-commanded prayer in John 17:21 is finally coming to pass according to Ephesians 4:13.
John 17:21:  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
Ephesians 4:13:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
The unity of the faith—not doctrines. Our doctrines differ. Our faith is in Jesus of Nazareth, Son of the living God!
We know the devil is responsible for the attack on Tony’s life! He tried to stop this worldwide move of coming together in Jesus as one. Too late, devil! THE BRIDGE IS ALREADY BUILT! IT’S A LOVE BRIDGE—A BRIDGE THAT WILL NEVER FAIL. And, Gloria and I, and all in this ministry, are thrilled to stand strong on THE BRIDGE that grace built—through Tony Palmer. We love and miss you, DEAR BOY.

No Democrat voted for it, and five Republican representatives voted against it — the resolution authorizing Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama in federal court.

The House vote to sue President Obama is the first such legal challenge by a chamber of Congress against a president, and a historic foray in the fight over constitutional checks and balances.

Wednesday’s nearly party-line vote followed a feisty floor debate and offered a fresh example of how the capital’s hyperpartisanship has led both parties into unprecedented territory, going to new and greater lengths to confront one another.

Two years ago, the Republican-led House became the first to hold a sitting Cabinet secretary in contempt of Congress, after lawmakers accused Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. of defying their request to turn over records about the ATF’s Fast and Furious gun-running operation.

Of course, House Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi, were quick to condemn the vote and link it to their latest base-energizing, fundraising scare tactic: Protect the president from IMPEACHMENT!

David Boreanaz has never really been known for his political stance. In fact, in Hollywood, giving any indication that you are anything but an extreme, Leftist, Progressive, Marxist ideologue can have career ending consequences. Heaven forbid you give any hint that you are a conservative or go against the Hollywood ‘IT’ poster child, Barack Obama. After all, he parties with Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and George Clooney (while railing against the ‘rich.’)


But, on Wednesday, Boreanaz broke ranks and actually dared to criticize Barack Obama for his weak response to Vladimir Putin’s aggression.

Whoa. Boreanaz told Obama to grow some cojones. That statement won’t fly well with the Hollywood, hipster elites. But, his resume offers some protection from the Progressive Hollywood wrath. After all, Boreanaz is no newcomer. He starred in the hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer  as Angel and currently stars in the hit show Bones.
But, that didn’t stop the Twitterverse from responding. Some responded with support and others felt the need to attempt to ‘put him in his place.’ After all, Obama can’t be expected to actually DO the job of President of the United States. He’s too busy taking vacations from his fundraisers, golfing and other vacations!
Some on Twitter expressed their support of Boreanaz speaking his mind.

According to reports, a California judge tentatively scheduled a trial for the end of January in a case that officially challenges Barack Obama’s eligibility to be the president of the United States. In a process that would skirt impeachment, the trial would answer questions as to whether the president is qualified under the requirements of the Constitution.
If the case is heard in the courtroom, it would mark the first time the dispute has been taken to open court, according to one of the attorneys working on the case. Although it has been a difficult path to get the case heard, it appears the trial is officially on the books. And it appears that there is a strong list of plaintiffs.
The judge did not make an immediate decision on a motion to grant discover, which would open Obama’s concealed records. Alternatively, the judge also did not rule to dismiss the case, commenting that there are legitimate constitutional concerns in the case, that need to be addressed and resolved.

The case would be the first time that the evidence would be heard in the court of law, as the proposal has previously been rejected by other states as well as the Supreme Court. The suit alleges that Obama is a citizen of Indonesia, and in fact, “possibly still citizen of Kenya, usurping the position of the president of the United States of America and the commander-in-chief.”
