ALERT: China Just Teamed Up With Our Enemies To Perform "Naval Exercises"
The world has been so intently focused on the instability of the Middle East that we’ve forgotten to keep an eye out for other potential adversaries. With ISIS widespread in Syria and Iraq, Hamas breaking ceasefires with Israel, and floods of refugees seeking asylum in France and the U.S., it’s easy to miss a crucial move by a such a significant military.
While we’re waiting for Obama to say the dreaded “war” word, China and Iran are performing naval exercises – together.
Although Iran is receiving billions of dollars from the Obama administration for a collapsing economy, they seem to have ample funds to train with China’s military.
The Washington Free Beacon reports:
“Chinese warships have pulled up to docks at the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas on the Persian Gulf as the countries prepare to conduct joint naval exercises.
“The voyage of the Chinese Army’s fleet of warships for the first time in Persian Gulf waters is aimed at joint preparation of Iran and China for establishing peace, stability, tranquility, and multilateral and mutual cooperation,” Admiral Amir Hossein Azad, commander of Iran’s First Naval Zone, said Saturday.
On Sunday, official Chinese news agency Xinhua reported that Chinese Navy ships, including the Changchun, a guided-missile destroyer, stopped at an Iranian port for a “friendly visit.” The ships carried 650 sailors that would compete in “sport events” with Iranian sailors, according to Iranian state newspaper Kayhan.”

So, while Iran and China strengthen their naval forces, the U.S. Navy has gone from 575 combat vessels in the Reagan era to 283 surface combatant vessels during the Obama administration. Still, President Obama vows to reduce it to 230, even though the Navy’s the smallest it’s been since 1917.
This suspicious docking is the first time China has entered the Persian Gulf, and it could not come at a more vulnerable time for the U.S.
The Beacon says, “the visit is just one example of growing ties between China and Iran. A Chinese fleet commander, Rear Adm. Huang Xinjian, said the visit was intended to “deepen mutual understanding, and to enhance exchanges between our two countries’ navies.”
This comes during China’s military exercises with Russia.
Allen West explains why this move is potentially threatening:
Those who have served in the military and have studied military history know a nation’s power is projected not by its army — but rather by its navy. That has been the rule since the days of the Phoenicians. The Spartans were a powerful land force but what made the Athenians more potent was their navy. The Roman fleet, the Portuguese, Dutch, Spanish, British and Japanese all knew the power of a navy and its ability to project national presence — as well as secure the sea lanes of commerce for trade and economic growth.
The disrespect by those we’re vehemently funding didn’t begin with Iran teaming up with China, but it’s just another slap in the face of Obama’s failed foreign policy.
